1 RV Park near Orovada, Nevada
Jun 2017 - $28.00
Small 9 space park almost exactly 40 miles from nowhere else. It was a great overnight stop. Great farming and mountain vistas abound. Long and wide pull through gravel site with good power and water/sewer. Folks at the station and locals alike were very nice. The small breakfast cafe was excellent. - Washoezephyr

When you're traveling across the Great Basin you find yourselves surrounded by miles and miles of miles and miles. There's not a lot out there. So when you come across an rv park you have to look at it in context. This park has everything you need to spend a comfortable night or several. They have good clean 20/30/50 amp power, water, and sewer. In addition they have great 360 degree views. The staff at the gas station where you check in is cheerful and helpful. They only have one shower/bathroom for the facility. The fixtures are a bit eclectic but they all function as designed and were clean. The shower has great pressure and plenty of hot water. They have a book exchange in the store and a fair to good breakfast burrito. On the downside there's hwy noise from US 95 but the traffic is not all that heavy. Our Verizon mifi worked great with 4G service. The roads and sites are gravel and pretty level and are all pull thru and all the sites have shade trees. If you're looking for luxury keep driving. If you're happy with the basic services a rv park is supposed to provide this is the place. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. The phone is (775) 272-7151. - pumper9x9
