2 RV Parks near Wendover, Nevada
Sep 2019 - $35.00
Can't add much to other very accurate reviews but the entries about dog poop is spot on. In fact there was a full bag at the back of our spot and several dropping all over the place. The casino should pay you to stay here! Darned sure we won't go back!!! - StarlifterFE
Aug 2019 - $72.00
There are about 18 back-in sites that are asphalt with gravel on the sides. They have water, sewer and electric. Most sites are level to some degree. The area itself is not looked after at all. There was dog "evidence" left lying around, garbage scattered around and there were weeds with terrible sticky thorns all over. The overall appearance was as if the Hotel and Casino didn't care at all, just wanted our money. The price was twice that of normal due to it being Speed Week at the Bonneville Salt Flats. I was surprised to find that the campground wasn't full, but after having seen how unkempt it was, I understood why it wasn't full. The Nugget Hotel & Casino should really try to look after their property! - Heysuse

Called to make a reservation and asked about pull through. I was told on the phone they did. We arrived earlier this afternoon and the RV park looks like it was abandoned. There are no pull throughs. You have to go into the Nugget to check in after you have found a site that the electricity and water are working. The front desk people had no idea what a pull through is. They could not find the paperwork needed and insisted that I do not leave until it is filled out. The process took about 15 minutes. There are homeless people living in the caves within 50 yards of the park and there is no fence. We do not feel safe here. We will not stay in this park again. - TekManiac
Sep 2019 - $57.00
This is a typical KOA park, tired, costly and in need of some attention. Access roads and RV sites are compacted gravel and sand. Although our site was reasonably level, most sites observed are not level. The park has little appeal or attraction. Office personnel were very nice and helpful. Sites are relatively close to one another. Pull in sites are lengthy and will accommodate long units with vehicles. The picnic table at our site was warped and far from level. Not sure I would stay here again based on the condition and the price. - al Lehman
Aug 2019 - $43.00
We're used to a bit more from KOA. This one seemed a bit rough. The internet was worthless but, fortunately, the Verizon signal was strong. Dog run a complete joke........chain link fence around some gravel. The signage on I-80 was poor. The sign said "KOA Journey,"......not sure what that means, but KOA might want to review compliance with standards. - Diesel24J

Front desk person was very friendly. Restrooms & showers were very clean. Showers had good water pressure. The park does seem a bit tired & could use a refresh. The sites were gravel & adequately spaced; however, it appeared that most sites were not level and some improvement is need in that aspect. It is near a train track which didn't bother us but may both some other more sensitive folks. Dog area is sand only, no grass. This area also needs refreshed. - Irwillici
