There are no "deluxe sites" in this campground. There is deluxe pricing. Looks like a hard scrabble seasonal campground. We camped at Lake Ivanhoe Inn & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Narrow interior dirt roads. Sites are dirt and not. Mostly permanent and seasonals. The lake is nice. You can waterski as we saw two boats skiing. Lake is not that big however. We kayaked but got yelled at when we got too close to someone's "private' beach.?? The campground has some kayaks and canoes, but their use is not included in your camping fee. We had people traveling with us that were staying at a local motel. We were charged Guest fees at $6/adult, $4./child even though our guests used none of the facilities. We decided to leave one day early, but were not offered a refund. The gentleman in the office was nice, but the woman was curt and not very friendly. Would not stay here again. We camped at Lake Ivanhoe Inn & Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Ivanhoe, itself, is without exception, the clearest Lake I have ever experienced. The campground has a small beach area shared with it's canoes and kayaks. This is across the street from the campground proper. There is one float that swimmers can go out to and jump off. The site that we had (#48) was perfect. Easy to back our 5th wheel into and with enough trees to afford privacy. That is about as good as this campground gets however. It bills itself as a "resort" campground, but in 8 days there, the only activities it offered were a wagon ride and an ice cream "social" (for an added cost). They have a shuffleboard court, but no one under 12 is allowed to play, a volley ball net, 2 pool tables ($$) and a half dozen video games. The owner escorts you to your site in a golf cart then proceeds to shout directions to you on how to park your own rig. We witnessed a number of frustrated drivers due to his insistence on "helping". Most of us have derived our own method of getting into a site. We were told, during reservations, that there was a boat dock 1/4 mile away where we could bring our dogs to swim. On arrival, the dock is clearly marked "no dogs". Other campers were told that the lake is appropriate for motor boats and skiers. It is not. It is a small shallow lake. We were told by neighboring campers that the owner of the campground was on our site while we were away and while we had left our dogs in our camper. He was yelling at our dogs, which made them bark. Originally they barked a couple of times when some kids cut through the site to use the port-a-potty set up for tenters. Yelling at them from outside the camper did not calm them down! There was very little water pressure available at our site and at the rest rooms. There were 2 showers for men and 2 for women. If 2 people tried to shower at once, the water was reduced to a trickle. The campground has 3 washers ($1.50/load) and 3 dryers ($1.50/load), which gets very expensive when they prohibit clotheslines for drying towels from the beach. The camp store is very lightly stocked. It had a minimum of camping supplies, ice, milk, bread and a few items of canned goods and condiments. They do not even sell coffee or newspapers. (warning: ice is $4.20 per bag!) Luckily, only 1 mile away is 7 Lakes Provisions, which is the best stocked and most reasonably priced store (ice is $1.49 per bag!) of it's kind I have ever been to! We chose this campground because of it's location in South Central NH. After being in the area and seeing so many better campgrounds than the one we chose, we would not be likely to stay there again. We camped at Lake Ivanhoe Inn & Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
