This campground is in the perfect spot for hiking in the white mountains and yet close to shopping. Only available spot for 5 nights was 33, and that is in an open field. It has a basketball court behind it, I would pick another site. Could never get it level in the grass but close enough for a good night sleep with out sliding out of bed. Remember we booked at the last minute for labor day weekend, so just thankful we had a place. On to what the camp ground is like, lots of families with each child on a bike. Speed limit was respected for that very reason by everyone, when it was 10 pm, no noise. They offer all levels of hook ups, we had electric and water. Wooded lots or open lots, many to pick from. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The swim pool is wonderful, and lots of playgrounds. Wifi is available but we couldn't get it to work, we have att and it was 1/2 bar. Things I would change: put doors on the main door to the bathrooms as it was uncomfortable sitting on the pot with all the world to see you sitting. Walk the campgrounds and police, dogs, that are off leashes. Put in a big sink for washing dishes. I would like to see them put an online reservation system, calling is difficult from other campgrounds with limited a cell service. I like to have a receipt when booking too. I would return and we enjoyed our stay here. It was our first camp ground experience with so many children and we enjoyed watching them run around like nuts playing. Hint: look on their web site for dates they have a free band, we lucked out. We camped at Green Meadow Camping Area in a Motorhome.

Right off of the main road, road to campground is dirt and you have a hump to go over at the entrance then through a tunnel of trees. We didn't have a problem, but looks intimidating. Roads are paved and dirt, sites are grass and dirt. Our site was level. Power and water were good, cell (AT&T) was weak. No road or R/R noise, but you could hear Storyland next door. Close to shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again. We camped at Green Meadow Camping Area in a Motorhome.

We camped here over Memorial Day weekend and nearly had the campground to ourselves due to the very cold, rainy weather. This is a clean campground very suitable for young children. You can walk to Storyland and you can also hear the noise from Storyland when it is running but it's not overly loud. Bathrooms were clean and everything worked as advertised. Some field sites had puddled water on them. We will camp here again. We camped at Green Meadow Camping Area in a Travel Trailer.

It is not the newest campground around. It is clean and right next door to Storyland which was why we stayed. It would of been nice to of had a heated pool and swings for smaller children. We camped at Green Meadow Camping Area in a Tent Trailer.

Choose to stay here because it is next door to Storyland. Site #2a was large, could see the .25 mile paved loop from site entrance which was great in watching the 5 year old ride his bike on around the loop. Site was dirty with cigarette butts, broken balloons, straws and even some broken glass around. The pool area was small with no chairs or anything but a moss covered bench seat on one side. WiFi worked great outside the camper at this site. During check in, staff drilled the 5mph speed limit time and time again, and did not seem all that friendly. My son waived to the same guy several times when he went by on the gator and never got a smile or wave back. Did not use rest rooms or showers. All and all, it was okay and provided as advertised. Just seemed dated and unfriendly. I would go back, but not after trying some other places nearby first. We camped at Green Meadow Camping Area in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is located next to Storyland. You can walk to the park. It was a pretty basic campground with a pool and playground. There were open space sites and wooded sites. This campground was not fancy. But we found it quaint, the staff was helpful, the other campers were friendly. This was our first camping trip with our camper. People came over to help us set up our awning. We had other neighbors that had a guitar and the man sang childrens songs for our kids. People followed the quiet hours rules. The campground was quiet over Memorial Day weekend. They had hay rides for the kids. But there were no other activities for the kids. The sites were not huge, but we did not feel cramped. There were numerous wooded sites still available. But we were told they were buggy. It was very convenient to be so close to Storyland. Our kids had a great time. There are only 93 sites, so it was a smaller park and wasn't noisy. No golf carts either. We would return here. It was very affordable also. We camped at Green Meadow Camping Area in a Travel Trailer.
