Oct 2018 - $40.00
Small, quiet, friendly park; the staff was very helpful. We have family in the area and needed a camping area close by with full hookups. This was a breath of fresh air. The park was small and very quiet, just the way I like it. We will definitely come back again. The honor system laundry was great, as we had been camping elsewhere without such a perk for a week. Close to many New Hampshire places of interest. - show off
Sep 2017 - $46.00
The cg is well located but the elderly couple trying to run the cg seem to be challenged. The lower site with seasonal occupants was relatively nicer than the upper part used for transients. Grass was uncut, pads were broken up, picnic table was unusable. The pool was very small and the general condition of the fenced in area was such that I would not have used it even if it was open. Playground was minimal and safety questionable. No dog park but the White Mountains allowed plenty of exercise for our dog. Not surprising - there were very few people there. - FT Travelers3
Sep 2017 - $31.00
This is a small campground run by the owners who live next door and helped out by some seasonals. Every one was very nice and helpful. It is an undiscovered jewel, as on Labor day weekend there were very few weekend campers. The campground seems to have two parts, the seasonals and the passers by. The former was full, in the latter, which includes a pool, we were the only ones. It was too cold for anyone to be at the pool so it was all very quiet. The campground was very well kept, clean and neat, with excellent wifi. The laundry room was on honor system, very good, and the showers and bathrooms very good, too. - AandWK

Oct 2015 - $36.00
If you want to be away from it all this is the place. We stayed here for 10 days while visiting the White Mountains and other areas. The campground had sites for seasonal and over nigh staying. We had site #66 which was great for the 50 amp service and the big rig parking. The only downside is the gun range that is across the road from this site. They fired their weapons all day and up into the night on a couple of occasions.
The WiFi does not work well in this site so be prepared for that. The restrooms and showers were clean and convenient to the site. The trash is collected in a dumpster near the office and has to be carried there by the people camping to avoid bears sharing the camping site. If children are traveling with you they have plenty of things for them in the park including a large campground play area. Also, there is a river running near some of the sites that would be nice in the hot weather. - JR 108
Oct 2015 - $23.00
We stayed here while visiting friends in Tamworth. It is an older park, but well cared for and maintained. It's the end of the season now so not a lot of campers. There are several back in sites called the Safari Area that are open with lots of room for maneuvering for big rigs. There are also three sites - 64-66 which are 50amp, good size for big rigs, and in the trees. Most of the campground is in the trees and are not suitable for big rigs. Hosts/owners were friendly and very helpful. - DiplomatTraveler
Aug 2015 - $32.00
We stayed here for a week while checking out the White Mountains and Mt Washington. Our site was well shaded and had plenty of room. We were across from the Safari area so we had no issues backing the fifth wheel into our site. Power was a little weak, we tripped the main breaker just running the AC and vacuum at the same time, water pressure was low and the sewer hookup was not level so we had to "walk" the sewer hose in order to drain it. The cable had a good channel lineup. Verizon Cell coverage was good so our hotspot made up for the lack of WiFi. The weekend they were hosting a Medieval festival so there were a lot of tenters, which for the most part were very quiet. Aside from the festival not much else to do while we were there. The campground is along the Swift river which is open for swimming. Not much in the immediate area so you'll have a 20 minute drive to Conway and be prepared for backed up traffic at any time there. In the end the site itself was ideal with shade and not stacked up on your neighbor, but the hookups themselves and no wifi except at the office make it only average. We would look elsewhere if we return to the area. - pfogleboch

This is a rustic Campground with tent and rv sites. The owners greeted us upon our arrival. Check-in was very easy and they provided an escort to the campsite (great customer service). They were very helpful with area information and made some recommendations about some hiking trails within the area. This campground is in a great location. You are close to the Kancamagus Highway in the White Mountain National Forest. There is also great shopping at the outlets in North Conway. The campground has all different kinds of activities. They do have Wifi but you need to be near the office. Wifi does not work at the camp sites. They do have a rec hall with a t.v., arcade, board games, ping pong table etc... The campground also has an in-ground pool to cool you off on those hot days... There is also a small fishing pond. We would return to this campground if we were planning another trip in this area. - clw_man

Aug 2018 - $76.00
We stayed here 4 nights in a pull thru site was one of the best parks we have been to, if you like a wooded site. Nice dog park and a dog beach. About one hour drive to white mountain. - Darryl Tuttle
Jul 2017 - $65.00
Beautiful wooded campground, but navigation in a big rig is difficult in places. Utilities were conveniently located in middle of pull through site and worked well except that the sewer connection isn't threaded. Cable has lots of channels but all are grainy. Wifi is hit and miss. Very aggravating. I just used my jet pack. Many seasonal and what appears to be permanent residents, but for the most part their sites were clean and well maintained. I think the price is expensive and I probably wouldn't stay again. - FSUWizard
May 2017 - $72.00
You can tell this park has been here awhile. The owners have made great strides in modernizing, with many 50 amp full service sites as well as pull-throughs. Don't fudge in stating your rig's length - there are definite limitations in some areas of the park, and the matter of a foot or two in length can make the difference between satisfaction and frustration. Beautiful setting on Moore's Pond, plenty of activities scheduled every weekend for those inclined, yet very peaceful away from the Pavilion area. Though we didn't use them, they have a handful of rustic cabins that are only accessible over a walking bridge - no power or wifi out there. They seem to be popular with campers while we were there. Just about the nicest ambiance of any park we have visited, and will definitely visit again when in the neighborhood. - EnjoyinLife

Family campground is part of a Lutheran conference center/summer camp/day camp. This is a very family oriented campground. Campground was very clean and quiet, located on Lake Ossipee with a nice beach for the use of the family campground(summer/day camp has own separate beach area). Although this is a Lutheran run campground, there is no expectation or pressure to attend any religious activities. Activities included movie night, ice cream social and tye-dye t-shirt making. Bathrooms and showers were extremely clean at all times. Staff was very polite and friendly. You can also have meals at the conference center if you wish. Good food at very reasonable prices. We will definitely return. - JJZS

Nice campground. We have been here many times before because they have sites right on the Bear River. You can kayak or tube from a few sites or swim at their beach area. Traffic noise is a bit loud. But a fun place! We'll be back! - nogdreason

Jul 2012 - $39.00
We stayed here for several nights the week of July 4th in our hybrid travel trailer (with tent ends). Very clean sites. We stayed on the river and had plenty of room. Some sites were smaller with less privacy, but all seemed equally clean. I would ask when booking if you need a larger site. The pool area was clean. Our main interest was the river, which offered tubing and kayaking opportunity. My family and I were very happy with this campground. - tailgater
Jul 2011 - $42.00
This campground was somewhat ok, but there were some issues. First, our site had no fire ring with a grill on it. This was remedied but it took some persistence on our part to get them to give us a proper fire ring with grill (they were going to put a couple of round pipes on top with a regular gas grill grill top at first! Not safe at all as it immediately rolled off before we even had a chance to protest!) The camping area was nice enough, shaded with plenty of room for a couple of tents, 3 cars and a screened room. The wi-fi was terrible. Could barely pick up a signal at times and most of the time we couldn't get one at all. The worst part was the fact that most of the regulars completely took over the pool and were smoking pot and some other substance, all while the person who watches over the place at night (security??) allowed it! It was scary as there were a couple of sinister-looking characters around. All in all, wouldn't stay at this place again. Too bad too, because the sites were pretty nice and bathrooms were clean and well cared for. - LoneWolfWarrior
Aug 2010 - $32.00
My husband and I stayed here with our dog for a weekend. The sites with hookups were very well-kept and spacious. In walking the campground, though, a lot of the river-front sites were very small. The staff were friendly, and the showers/bathrooms were very clean. The showers are quarter showers, so come prepared! There are several walking paths, one of which leads to a hidden beach area on the river. This is definitely a tenter-oriented campground, with plenty of sites catered to tents. All in all we had a great time (minus some rude campers that came in on our last day.) But you can't control other people! - ShanaT

Aug 2015 - $47.00
We have camped here for many years and is one of our favorite campgrounds in NH. We usually camp in area 3. This is the quieter side of the campground away from the large beach area. There are multiple waterfront and water view sites on Little Dan Hole Pond. In July and August it is difficult to get a waterfront site but off-season they are easier to reserve. The sites are wooded and large with good separation from your neighbor. We enjoy the disc golf and hiking nearby Sentinel Mountain. - NE_Tmanor
May 2013 - $45.00
We have stayed at Terrace Pines in the past. It is a nice campground with good facilities. We stayed on two sites due to our party size (6 adults, 4 kids). We had the only 2 waterfront campsites. The rest had "water views". The beach was nice, but crowded. The campground has a heavy population of seasonal campers. Not many sites open to mobile campers. As such, the beach filled up with a large number of "regulars/residents". The disc golf they have is a great game! Bathrooms and showers were nice (and free hot showers!). While we had a good time and enjoyed our stay, we would only stay again if we get the two sites we had this time. Most of the "non seasonal" sites we saw were too small and crowded to enjoy. - BigNuge

Jul 2015 - $18.00
Paid for two nights, only stayed one. Bathrooms and shower facilities were old, beat-up and dirty. Trash and beer cans in our site when we arrived. Would not recommend! Actually after my husband took a shower he suggested I don't even go to the shower house. While he was taking his shower there were several men, also taking showers, who appeared to be drunk. They were singing inappropriate songs, were loud and using bad language. The whole campground looked and felt" dumpy". Not a place many would be comfortable staying at. Couldn't wait to leave.... - Don and Pat
Jul 2011 - $15.00
Dumpy campground. Was worth just about what I paid. Wi-Fi not available at my rig. The road into the campground is difficult but passable for a big rig. Nice open field with baseball diamond, basketball court and volleyball court. The areas for the permanent or seasonal guests were trashy but not seen by the campground area. This campground is also under major earthwork renovation. Small lake with beach...I would not like to swim in it. - matparis
Sep 2010 - $15.00
We camped here under Passport America rates. The entry roads are in need of some grading but are not the worst we have used. The sites are a little short for large units but they do have a few sites that will work for a 40 foot rig. The WiFi did not work at our site but our Verizon signal was very strong so we used that for the internet. There are many seasonal sites that could use some cleaning up. We probably would not camp here again. - corky506

Aug 2018 - $50.00
This is a real nice campground with good size sites. We camped here for a weekend to visit friends. We enjoyed our stay and were able to take some golf cart rides, a boat ride and swim in the pool. The pool area was nice except for there was a group of people who kept approaching us and blowing bubbles at us and got mad because we did not get up and join them. I go to the pool to relax and not to be bothered or forced to do things. Other than that it was a beautiful weekend and our site was great with plenty of shade across from the bath house and laundry. - Happy Camper X2
Aug 2018 - $58.00
Very disappointed with our site assignment in the "new" area of The Bluffs. It is an isolated gravel field with great views of the RV storage pound. No shade or water view anywhere. Outrageous price. - Billy D
Jul 2018 - $50.00
NOTE: ONLY AVAILABLE WEEKLY RATE. This is a beautiful 55+ RV park adjacent to the Danforth Bay Resort. We loved the concept, the 2 pools for adults only (one lap, one heated), plenty of shade for folks avoiding sun and clubhouse with activities. Only negative is we were assigned an awful site in a row facing storage a lot farther from everyone else and down a hill. There was gravel only, no trees or privacy hedge and really ugly. For people not coming for season. The seasonal RVers had lovely sites near the clubhouse with trees, some landscaping between sites. At neighboring Danforth Bay, beautiful beaches, kayaks, canoes and a dog park being built. Wish they provided more convenient dump location. We had to drive there with garbage. Store was great, and staff super. Would return if we had a nice site near others for socializing. - Andrea W
