21 RV Park near Washington, New Hampshire
Sep 2019 - $38.00
I'll start with the only good thing about our stay: the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming in the few brief interactions I had with them. However, some of the long-term guests were not very welcoming or considerate. I was running a race just about 10 minutes away - check-in was at 5am on race day and we wanted to camp as close as possible to the start. I ended up only getting a few hours of sleep because of some noisy neighbors drinking and yelling late into the night. We kept asking them politely to be quiet, but they just sort of gave us the vibe that they live there, and we were outsiders passing through. They said something to the effect of "Did you know what you were getting into when you decided to stay here?" I'm not really sure what they meant, but might guess that they don't see a lot of tent campers, and so noise isn't usually as big of an issue. We tried calling the office to see if they could get them to quiet down, and they were closed. We tried calling around to other hotels and campsites in the area but there were over 800 people in the race, and everything within an hour's drive was booked. I would not recommend tent camping here, a lot of people seem to complain about the noise of the highway, but that really didn't bother us much. It's just not a very restful environment in general, you kind of feel like you're camping in a suburb. There was also a fair amount of trash strewn around our site and wads of toilet paper all over the place in the nearby woods. The price was reasonable, and the location was great for our needs, but I would have gladly paid more money, or traveled a little further to get a good night's sleep. - mazalope

To be fair, they were closed for the regular season, and they did allow us to stay, without water or restrooms. The site was level, with power. So, what is there to complain about? Besides being right by the interstate, the place was just unattractive. It is a large field with some trees at one end, and narrow, hilly, access roads. I would not want to be there in the busy season. It just didn't fit the image of Vermont. - Kvw613

Very nice and clean campground. Recently upgraded. Staff make you feel like family. Great place for the kids too. Each site has a fire ring, and with the sales of wood at the office, one can have a nice evening fire. - FishingMan1
