Dec 2018 - $40.00
Planned this as a weather stop over but was surprised we could get anywhere in Philly from here. Be advised they are stopping service at this location end of December 31 2018. Even though it is simply a parking lot and does have water and electric available and a central dump station. It was a great location to base your RV and visit Philly. - Art Goldsmith
Oct 2018 - $36.00
It's hard to rate this one. It's a parking lot in South Philly. Their primary business is as a park and ride for people going to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, but there are about a dozen spaces with hookups crammed closely together on one side of the lot, and overflow parking for a bunch more. Shuttles run between the lot and the hospital 24/7. It's about a 5 minute ride to the hospital, then there are public transit connections to everywhere else (about 15-20 minutes to the tourist locations in the center of the city). Or it's a $10, 15 minute Lyft ride directly from the park to the center of town. The employees were all super friendly and helpful. Between the razor wire perimeter, bright lights, and the presence of bus drivers and other campers, it seemed safe enough. The lot has all of the basics, restrooms and showers that I never looked at (someone else said they were actually pretty good), dump station, dumpster. There's a small patch of grass by the entrance if your dog needs it. There's also a fair bit of trash around, and it's next to a train yard. Between the trains, buses, and a jerk who appears to be living in the last campsite next to the tracks with some loud motorized bike that he likes to ride around the parking lot in the evenings, it's not quiet. But it's very convenient for visiting Philly, and very cheap when compared to other big city RV parks. If you can pick your site, the ones in the front, farthest from the railroad tracks, are quietest. If I were visiting Philly again, yes, I would stay here again. But a lush state park it ain't. - AnnP
Sep 2018 - $61.00
This park is Urban Camping at it's best. It is super close to all of fun and historical things to do in Philadelphia. Campus Park & Ride is essentially a commuter parking lot next to a warehouse that has electric and water connections at each site. It is a no frills place to safely connect your RV, camp and enjoy one of the best cities on the East Coast. Their staff is SUPER friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations. - ETCTA

When I called to make a reservation, I said I only care about one thing: shade. I don't need a pull through, I don't care how tight the space is, I don't care how level it is. I just want shade. The woman explained that "the computer" assigns a site when we arrive. So we arrived shortly after check-in time, only to find out they assign all the sites for each day first thing in the morning. We were in the back "shady area" but the site (68) was full sun. Eventually we were able to get a shady site but it was just too much trouble from the front office for me. But the wifi was good. - janci

What an improvement since before it was a KOA. this is an old campground but improving every month. Very convenient to philly and 1 1/2 hours to Jersey shore. Will stay again since we have family in the area. - golfnut788
Jul 2019 - $69.00
This is a very nice, well kept campground. We stayed here because it was close to Philadelphia. Our site was gravel almost level, nice and shady. We have a 42ft fifth wheel and had no problems getting into the campground. - Lizz

Sep 2016 - $100.00
This was our first time staying at Hospitality Creek and were not very impressed! If I was charged $45-50 a night I would have no complaints; however when they charge $100 a night and have a 3 night minimum I expect a very nice campground. That is not the case at all. Unfortunately the campground is littered with numerous run down seasonal sites. Water park and pool were ok, nothing spectacular. Property has quite the laundry list of rules, however I saw no one enforcing them. Site was very un-level. If we were to come back it would only be to stay in one of the lakefront sites. - SJEAGLES609
Jul 2016 - $90.00
Great place to spend time camping. The staff was outstanding; were there to help you. One of the problems I had was with the pools. The campground is also a pool club and the pools where always packed and very loud. They had things for the campers to do at night and the band they had for the 4th was great. The last thing for the money you pay I wished they had concrete pads very sandy. - 4 DVC Fans
Jan 2016 - $90.00
First off, our last stay was August last year (and many times prior). We live very close to this campground; which at first I questioned why tow to somewhere so close. First time there I realized why. PLENTY of things to do. Excellent pools, one for the kids and one for the adults. Also, a great lakeside beach with plenty of stuff for the kids. Canoe, paddle boat and flat bottom boat rentals at the ready. Boat launch is there. Sites are pretty accessible. The staff is GREAT! And aside from having things for the kids, they do adult-only things too. If you're thinking about checking it out, do it - you won't regret it! - Wildwood Camper

Sep 2018 - $33.00
Traveling in a 43ft Class A with 4 slides and tow vehicle. Interior roads are tight for big rigs. The first turn inside the park has you making a 90 degree turn with a tree on each side of the turn and boundary markers along the asphalt making it difficult to thread through. The turns to the office and the exit have concrete posts at the corners making it tough to make those turns. We stayed along the fence line and to get to that area you will encounter an overhead tree branch that you cannot avoid (no damage) and two other trees to thread through. The fence line sites are the best for big rigs. We booked site 47 through Reserve America after a lengthy conversation with the office about the best spot for our size and satellite signal; however, upon arrival we were told that somehow that spot was double booked and we would have to be in site 35 with no other options. They never contacted us prior to arrival to tell us our booked site was not available; however, they said an email "should have" been sent. Site 35 had soft ground toward the front and we had to adjust a couple times to keep our jacks from sinking into the ground. It has a very large tree that blocks satellite, the sewer is all the way at the back and the water is on the passenger side shared with another site so we had to run our hose under the coach. Some may need a sewer and water hose extension. We had multiple conversations with the office about moving to another site and they told us that we could not move for 3 days because they were booked. For those 3 days our original booked site stayed vacant. Eventually we ended up in site 50 which was a little shorter but decent and the sites are wide so we could park the car next to the coach. Heavy rains while we were there and many sites were flooded. The pool was closed for the season, the arcade only open 2 hours a day and the tennis courts were laughable as the surface was rough chip sealed so not usable. - Big Rig Travelers
Sep 2018 - $38.00
This is a rural park with many campers that stay year round. It is mostly for families and has plenty to keep kids busy. The one thing it's missing is a fenced in dog park. It has plenty of room for one though. We had a pull through that was extremely difficult to get in and out. Pictures show poles and trees were a problem. Tight roads thru the park. Signs all over the park telling you "no" for something. Other campers were very friendly. Otherwise a good central location to see Atlantic City and Philadelphia. There was an outside row for big rigs but no shade at all. Might stay here again but only viewing lot first. - S Dowdy
Jul 2018 - $29.00
This place is off the beaten path but a great place to stay. The roads in are good. GPS may not bring up the last road in - Foote Lane - but there is a sign for the campground at the end of the road. Check in was fast and friendly. We were originally in Site 28 but we could not level our RV - there is a slope at the front end of the site. We moved to Site 40 and it was easier to level - still not perfect but better. This is the reason for the 9 star rating, otherwise it would be a 10. Sites are wider than normal. Site 40 is a pull through with full hook ups, no issues with any of them. It was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. The park is well maintained and very quiet. There is a cow pasture next to the camp but there was no smell. They have a play ground, fishing pond and a pool, but there are no chairs or table at the pool. Laundry is an open room so it was pretty dusty but the machines were clean. Some of the dryers don't heat up very well. WiFi was just okay. Verizon signal was good. We stayed June 7 -14, 2018 and paid $29 a night. - BarrettsHappyTrails

Feb 2017 - $20.00
Limited facility with about 25 of the 50 campsites open to campers up to about 22' in length. We camped here in the winter on a unusually warm weekend. The campground, like all NJ State Park campgrounds, has no hookups. The shower facility was open and hot showers are available all winter. Several of the campsites are along the lake and allow canoe / kayak access right from your site. (# 10 and # 25 seem to be the best but others are available). In the summer there is a functioning beach area for swimming. The lake is quiet except for the occasional ATV riders in the area of which the park police continually chase away or otherwise enforce their restrictions. The location is ok for a day or two if you're running on your own power and water. In addition to decent kayaking / canoeing there are a few small trails for hiking on the opposite side of the campground. There is a two night minimum when reserving online but if you reserve in person during non peak weeks the park staff will accommodate you. - Jim and Ben

Oct 2009 - $50.00
Terrible campground. Overpriced compared to other campgrounds in the area, especially since they have no sewer hookups. The two mile dirt road leading to the campground was full of potholes and was washboard-like because of the rain. Interior roads and sites are narrow with low hanging branches. Many low hanging electrical or cable wires. The wire to the security camera broke off our vent hatch when we arrived because it was hanging so low and we couldn't see it at night. There was broken glass all over our campsite. Internet and cell phone service was almost non-existent. When we left we had to have someone get on top of our trailer to lift branches and wires out of the way as we drove out. We would not stay here again. - poema304

Jul 2019 - $50.00
Pretty entrance. Nice road but lots of sharp speed-bumps. Large campground. Safety: No concerns. Access: We came from Annapolis across the Bay Bridge and followed US-301 into NJ to route 1 to I-95 to I-295 before starting south on US-40. GPS seemed to take the "long way" but got us there. Off US-40 on Commissioners Road, right on Woodstown-Daretown, immediate right into CG. Access road in good condition, good signage, Garmin GPS is accurate. Office: Friendly staff, nice store with snacks, food items, soft drinks, souvenirs, trinkets and toys, and RV equipment items. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations available. No price discounts. Facilities: HUGE pool and swimming lake with sand beach. No spa or fitness room. Large game room. Limited operation café. Multiple, large, clean laundry rooms but require a smart-phone app to "pay" the machines or get a FOB at the office. Multiple restrooms/showers. Inspected the one by the pool. Modern fixtures, privacy doors, "push button" water control. Some mold, very dirty floors. Propane sales. Big playground, basketball, sand volleyball. Off-leash dog park. Campground: Not in a flood plain. No designated storm shelter. Parts heavily wooded, some areas no trees at all. Interior roads are narrow, dirt/gravel (asphalt by the office) in good condition with gentle turns and no overhead obstacles. Multiple tent areas, no yurts, a few cabins. Sites are all nearby, level, dirt/gravel, pull-through and back-in, grass or forest floor between. Pedestals at rear of site with electric 20/30/50; some metered. Low water pressure with good taste. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, about 4" above ground level (some are angled). No patios. Nice picnic tables. Use fire rings. Satellite views vary depending on site. Cable TV connection on pedestal but not tested. OTA TV found 42 channels (Philadelphia). Pay Wi-Fi at sites; free in office, laundry, pavilions. Verizon phone and 4G at 1 bar. Recycle bins. Noise: No railroad, aircraft, traffic, or interst. - StephenK
Apr 2019 - $20.00
The narrow dirt roads are muddy when it rains and the potholes fill with water. The sites are roomy and are nestled amongst the trees. However, they are also dirt and get muddy. It's peaceful and beautiful. The people here are great. While we were there, they opened up their new laundry room which is beautiful. The regular size washers are $2 and there's also a large washer; the regular dryers are $2 and the two large dryers are $2.25. We stayed here for two months and would stay here again if ever in the area. - mrpeepers
Sep 2018 - $25.00
We were on a monthly rate. This park is just over the border into NJ, is also close to the Delaware & Maryland borders, 30 mi from Philly & Willington, 2 hrs from DC. It is close to our son in Bear Delaware (35 mi). It is a large park of 400 sites & the only one in area that had room for us for 2 months - Sept & Oct. Sites go all different directions, many in wooded areas of the park. There are a lot of seasonal campers here with many leaving their trailers here year 'round, most are decent. A few trailers look very old & not kept up. Park is well maintained, grass is kept cut clean. Main road to the office is blacktop but rest of park roads are just dirt & gravel so you need to go slow in the park as a few spots need to be filled in with dirt/gravel. There is a nice large pool that was put in in 2017, playground, pavilion, game room, new dog park. Activities on weekend, laundry room machines are old but work well, Did not use the showers but did peak in the ladies & bathroom showers were clean, nicely tiled. I would use them if needed. There is a small store by office, snack shop that serves sandwiches & ice cream. Most are back-in sites. There are some full hook ups and a few pull throughs. There is an area that was just water/electric. There is dump station. Sites near the front of the park are less wooded. We were on site # 48 near front, a nice large site once we got level, there is no gravel pad. It may have been at one time. Many sites you park on grass. Back of site level but front needed lots of boards under tires & jacks which owner brought us some more boards as we didn't have enough. Friendly staff. Small town, farm land in area. There is an ACME chain grocery store, Tractor Supply & few other small stores. We would stay here again. - 2GermanAmericans

This campground is a bit outdated, but the sites are so beautiful, that we didn’t even care. The site was clean, spacious and since we had a lake front site, it was gorgeous! The camp store has everything you would need and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Even though the park itself could use a little updating, we still loved it here and will definitely be back! - Alex And Denise
Aug 2018 - $43.00
Park needs work. Branch hanging over road, got a nice scratch. Lots of standing water. Sites poorly defined. Don't go near the washrooms, spider webs, wires from pay shower hanging ou , and just kind of old. Has a nice beach area, quiet & felt very safe here. - lv ron
Aug 2012 - $45.00
We had a lake front site and the views from our rear window were spectacular. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. I was able to pull in quite of few TV stations from overhead without a problem. This park is older, but well maintained. Some of the sites had the electric and water on the curb side of the site which means you need long cords and hoses to hook up. My wife & I enjoyed our stay here and will return. - GlennNJ

I was very pleased with the work that is being done to clean up this once "the place" to go to in South Jersey. The manager has removed almost all the broken down and forgotten RV's from the property. My wife and I after seeing how much was done in the past 2 months that we booked a rally in the front "Rally Park" area for Late May 2015. - S9264
May 2012 - $55.00
This park is more of a permanent trailer park than campground. The place is quite scary. Beat up dirty campers where I believe people live year round. The bathrooms were horrific. Bumpy dirt roads throughout. This place was probably once a nice place to camp as I heard so much about it. However, it is currently owned by one of those massive companies that are buying up campgrounds and running them in to the dirt. We left after one night. As I said the place was scary and we did not feel safe there at all. Not for children or families. - travlinfamily
May 2012 - $60.00
Beware. My family and I stayed there Memorial Day weekend. We arrived on Friday and we were so unhappy we left Saturday even though we were supposed to stay until Monday. The park is in very poor shape with most seasonals who don't maintain their sites. Our electric kept going out to the point where we couldn't really use the A/C. The facilities where very dirty and the camp store was empty for the most part. I guess there's no quiet time as the radios where blaring late into the night and complaining didn't help. We will never stay there again. Guess I should have looked at reviews here first. - Tred66
