Jan 2019 - $15.00
Really enjoyed this park and staff was really great! I got lost and when I called they were right there to assist.. The owner guided me into my spot as it was dark and made sure I was setup before he went back to the office. Their library was quite good and I exchanged some dvd's and books. Showers were clean and hot enough. The wifi worked well, download speed was 4000 Kbps and Upload was 1000 Kbps Byte Quota Unlimited. Campfires not permitted but Portable grills are accepted. Pets permitted on leashes and attended at all times. This park is well maintained, sites are level, long enough for tow vehicle & 34ft trailer. Wide enough to park my truck next to it as well. and long term residents very helpful. They are right off the highway on the west side. Highway traffic was not a noise issue. Nearest town is north about 15 mi and has supercenter walmart I will be returning here to stay on my way back to Colorado in the spring. Daily rate is $30.00-$35.00 Passport is good for 2 nites - Tj Hunter
Oct 2018 - $38.00
I have stayed at this RV park before. I would stay here again. The sites are spacious, the utilities work as they should, and the place is easy to get to off the interstate. The folks checking us in were pleasant and they lead us to our site and stayed to insure that we got hooked up OK. The PA rate didn't apply in this case because of the balloon fest up in Alberquque. I will stay here again if in the area. - bones1941
Jul 2018 - $19.00
This was my first time staying at this park. Check in was a breeze. The staff were knowledgeable and easy to work with. One of the staff escorted me to my site, showed me where all the hook-ups were, and asked if I needed anything else. The sites were level and wide, good amperage from the pedestal and the water had good pressure. There were no potholes in the roads. The entrance was easy on, easy off Hwy 25. I would stay here again. We camped here in a motorhome. - bones1941

Mar 2017 - $35.00
This is a nice little RV park. Not fancy, gravel pad, level site, fairly close together, more trees being planted, away from freeway noise, just off I-25 exit 191. Very friendly staff, the owner is upgrading, adding more sites and planting more trees. He happened to be working on a nearby new site and told us about several scenic drives in the area. Nice view of valley below. WiFi very fast first day (9 Mbps), next day hard to connect (provider issues?). Hook-ups appeared to be newer, we used 30 amp. Good OTA TV signal, 40+ channels. - Roaming Roads and Rivers
Feb 2017 - $35.00
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly & helpful.
The shower was clean, plenty of hot water.
Try to get spot B4 or C4, you will have a beautiful view of the valley, Sandia & Manzano Mtns. - CandD
Oct 2016 - $35.00
This is a quiet park that is close to the freeway but that gets little freeway noise. We checked in on a Sunday so the only way to get access to the Wi-Fi was to call the phone number, which we didn't do. They do offer discounts for travel club and veterans of $5. We had a great view from our spot in the park. The park is well kept very clean. It is also under construction so they're obviously trying to improve it even more. - beckydmc

Apr 2016 - $10.00
Price reflects the monthly rate, electricity was charged separately. The park was perfect for us, we needed a place to stay for a few weeks while visiting Albuquerque. The park sits up on the hill just west of the freeway. There are great views of the surrounding mountains. There is surprisingly little noise despite proximity to the freeway. There were full hookups, good water pressure and strong wifi. This is a no-frills campground, but we were not in need of resort amenities. There are no laundry or bathroom facilities. This is a small park with 10 spots, most are long term, with a few spots set aside for shorter stays. This is essentially an open gravel lot so pulling in and out with a larger rig is easy. The owners were friendly and attentive. We were pleased with the park and would stay here again. - BluegrassTravelers
Apr 2015 - $25.00
This small, clean RV park is fine for a stay while visiting the area. Road and sites are gravel, level, and everything worked well. You should be fully self-contained; no restrooms or showers. It is a quiet location, with easy on off the freeway access. - DiplomatTraveler
Dec 2014 - $30.00
My husband is easily irritated at RV parks with poor and unclean facilities. He could not stop singing the praises of this tiny spot. The gravel was smooth and perfectly level. The place was quiet, friendly, and spotless. I swear he and the owner were best friends in ten minutes. The RV site is in a perfect place for easy in and out from the highway. Best for overnight as it is not set up for activities and is thirty miles from a big city, Alburquerque. - glowingheart

May 2018 - $4.00
Beautiful small campground nested in the mountains. Limited campsites with electric, NO WATER at site, picnic tables are placed oddly - not convenient to site unless you pull in forward on sites. Beautiful walking trail loops marked with interesting sites. - DonBarbH
Mar 2018 - $4.00
What an amazing place! Nice, easy and well marked hiking trails (though at 7,200' you'll need to pace yourself). I had the place to myself (other than camp hosts) for a few nights. The trees really make it feel very private even when you do have neighbors. Incredibly peaceful, will definitely be returning here! Downsides: It's very dusty. Back of rig and towed unit were solid red from dust on the road. You don't have great views from the campground because of trees. It's a long way from anywhere. An hour to get to Moriarity on I-40 or an hour and a half back to Socorro on I-25. The last 3-4 miles of the road in are not for the faint of heart if you're driving a big rig (see details) - The Old Fart
Jul 2016 - $14.00
16 developed sites with picnic tables (some with lean-to), fire ring, BBQ grill, half with power. Some can be reserved (ReserveAmerica with service charges). About 30 undeveloped and group sites. Staff keeps CG very clean. Nicely maintained garden outside office with bird feeders. Great cell service, no WiFi. One bathroom / office building has M&F sides with flush toilets, cold water sinks. Can be overcrowded with group camping. Well-marked & maintained hiking trails around CG, with gate access to Cibola Natl Forest hiking trails. Very busy weekends & holidays.
NM state annual park pass available, then campsites are free, electric $4.00 / night.
Hot & dry conditions during July 2016, Stage 2 Fire Restrictions due to continued drought & nearby Dog Head fire. - dave3114
