As we continued to go farther south as we began heading back east due to cold, snowy weather to the north, we ended up in this tiny part of the northeast corner of New Mexico we haven't been through in at least 20 years. We were actually looking forward to doing the Capulin Volcano National Monument mountain drive and (possibly) the rim hike for the first time in decades. Unfortunately, before we made reservations here, I did not notice a previous review mentioning that the mountain drive was closed due to recent weather related damage. Although we did enjoy the monument's visitor center before coming to the RV park, we got here fairly early (about 1 P.M.) and had a lot of time to kill in this small park and small town. We did get a level, pull through, FHU site. We insisted on one that was satellite friendly since there is no cable TV and only a couple antenna stations. As recent reviewers have noted, the Wi-Fi was strong and the bathrooms are clean. The lack of amenities (other than the Wi-Fi) prevents a higher rating. - Jerry S

We loved this rv park! As we were leaving we said we wished we had stayed another day! The owners were super friendly and helpful. They put fresh gravel all through the park which really cut down on the dust - and they made the sites perfectly level! We had a spot where we put our chairs under a tree and had a beautiful view of Capulin Volcano. The price was very reasonable. We don't usually use the restrooms, but we had to go look at them because they were the talk of the rv park - the cleanest, nicest restrooms anyone had seen in an rv park! - Admiral II

This is a small campground that we stopped at to visit the volcano monument. It is well maintained and the bathrooms were very clean. The water and electric were good and the wifi was strong. No tables or fire pits but not that important to us. Owners were great! - RV'er
