There are only two problems with this RV Park. One is that it is extremely noisy because of the proximity to the highway, but that is not something the campground can control. My only other issue (and this is what gets them the lower rating) is that the women's bathroom/showers is either in a state of remodel or it is just terribly old/dirty. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Nicest park in area, the big pull throughs are wonderful, little road noise but not bothersome, WiFi is one of best we have encountered in 10 years! Friendly, helpful staff, weekly with tax was $215

Friendly greeting at small, no frills, basic park. Easy phone in reservation. Site was level, asphalt, a little narrow. No grass, just rocks between sites which are fairly close. If you have a pull through, be aware all utility connections are at the very rear of the site, so you will need a long electric cord or park far enough to the rear of the site. Our tow car was just barely out of the road so we could reach the electric box. But all utilities worked well and the wi-fi was very good. While not a destination park (no pool, hot tub, cable, etc.) a nice spot to spend the night. A little over priced for what you get, but we would stay again if needing a place for the night. Verizon signal was strong. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We had one of the newly upgraded 50 amp sites. Power A-OK.The rate was based on a week stay. There is no laundry room, however there's an excellent Laundrytopia one block away next to the fuel station. A car/bus wash is across from the laundry. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are 4-wheeling areas northwest and southeast (Angel Peak) of the city. Also a number of native american ruins are in the area.

Seemed to be mostly full-time residents with a few overnight sites. The park itself was quiet but despite a 35 mph speed limit, the road noise was disturbing. The site itself was level with room for motorhome and tow car. No picnic table at the site. The camp host was helpful and said the owners are working to upgrade the CG and hope to put in a noise barrier wall. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Motorhome.

No longer Mom & Pops. Name changed to Bluffview. New owners. They are working on adding more 50 amp. sites. Nice people trying to make it better. Restrooms and showers are clean. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Short time new owners. Clueless. There was a note on the office door with our name and a site number. I walked the campground to find the site # and found the back-in on the perimeter, with dog droppings all over the asphalt RV pad. After clearing the site I backed in and hooked up. Owner apologized when we pointed out the problem. There are many long-term residents, not much clutter. Basically a large parking lot with many overnight RV'ers coming and going. Parking for tow or towed is limited. I don't think we will be returning. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

New owners. They are very knowledgeable about the area and really want your time in the area to be enjoyable. Then there is the park. It is big enough for my 45 ft MH and toad but the park is looking tired and it has some long time renters but their rigs are OK. If full the nice wide turns might not be so wide and easy as the roads are somewhat narrow. I would stay again and use as a base for touring. Your basic gravel parking lot. Very nice people and utilities worked well. On a busy street but it didn't bother us. Not the kind of park you want to sit outside at. Just a home base. Several permanents on the perimeter. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A must see is the Bolack Museum. It is only about a mile away. It is free and you get a guided tour of the Electromechanical Museum (every imaginable item - old computers, insulators, telephone equipment, brass padlocks -- 3 bldgs worth of "stuff". It is three warehouses of electrical "stuff", a private collection and ranges from 1900 > present. Not set up like a regular museum, just warehouses packed to the ceiling. Don't pass it up. Call ahead for reservations.

Conveniently located to the bypass but no noticeable road noise in the middle of the park. In a commercial area but didn't notice it being exceptionally busy or noisy. The park itself is being kept up well, no trash, fresh paint, clean, etc. Asphalt and gravel sites. Small park but no problem getting a big rig around (may require some cooperation from others at times). Friendly, knowledgeable owner/mangers. Excellent buy for the buck. New owners are very helpful and courteous. Just right for taking off on day-long visits like Chaco Canyon or Mesa Verde, not really a campground to stay in all day. Gravel sites with picnic table. Street noise dies down around 9pm. We camped at Bluffview RV Park (formerly Mom and Pops RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Town is large and growing, lots of places to buy things and eat out if you choose. We needed the GPS to find our way around as this town is really spread out.
