20 RV Parks near Isleta Pueblo, New Mexico
Oct 2018 - $35.00
We had a level, gravel, pull through, FHU site that was satellite friendly. The Wi-Fi worked well enough for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. The bathrooms were clean while we were here. I did not see any recycling. - Jerry S
Oct 2018 - $37.00
Not my first review of this park, I am here frequently. This is my second stay when it has rained - not good. Earlier in the year I was in with a friend and had to deliver him & his wife to their site, the entire park was flooded. I am in town on business & it's rained two days. I currently have 3-4 inches of water at my front door. I have to carry my dog to and from potty breaks. The park needs to spend some money on gravel for the dirt roads. I'll spend days getting the mud from the 5W & truck. The park needs to spend some money on gravel for the roads the roads. Maintenance has gone down hill, there are goat heads "stickers" every where. - Edd505
Sep 2018 - $35.00
We like this park as it is close to my relatives in the South Valley of Albuquerque. We stay here quite often and I see improvement every time we stay. This time there were nice shades over the tables, decorative rock around the area; however, there is still no shade on the trailer! The trains, planes and automobiles will keep you awake though. - Marilynintexas
Mar 2016 - $27.00
The staff was helpful and pleasant. The NEW owner even stopped by visit the first evening. He said that he is working hard to remodel and asked what we felt he should work on next.
I would certainly stay here again. It is near some shopping and things to see.
The best thing about this park is that it is QUIET. A couple of dogs were around us, but they did not misbehaved or become troublesome.
The first visual impression as you drive in could be better. The site was spacious. All the hookups worked and our personal internet and DirecTV reception were good.
The dog walk area needs improvement. - LMF
Oct 2014 - $48.00
This park is very poorly maintained with many permanent residents living there. The pull thru sites are not level and my coach strained to get level. Stepping outside your coach you will encounter a field of thorns which will stick to your shoes until you return to your coach where they will transfer to your carpet. I made the mistake of passing through during balloon week, hence the outrageous $48.00 charge. Next time I will drive another hour and skip this place altogether. - Beaver 43
Jul 2010 - $23.00
Save your money and go elsewhere. Checkin person was very helpful but the overall condition of the place is deplorable. - jc2
Oct 2018 - $31.00
Very easy. One call, no Credit Card needed. When we arrived all was exactly as booked.
Access/Big Rig Access:
Very easy right from I-40. Easy to get to the site, no sharp turns.
Very kind staff and no problems with our reservation even though they did not ask for our phone number or CC when booking.
Two sheds with bathrooms and laundry. Very clean. Propane cheaper than most other campgrounds we have visited.
Ok size, slightly close to our neighbor but ok for a couple of nights.
$31.21 after a AAA discount of 10%. Tax is added to price of campgrounds in New Mexico. Office accepts Master Card and VISA but not American Express.
If you use Apples products forget abut WiFi. Office said that the towers are not iPhone, iPad or MacBook friendly and that is true. Tries to restart my iPhone 4 times and after each restart it worked until the phone went to sleep. No luck with the MacBook at all. Seems that they had this problem for a long time but owner does not seem to care.
Almost unusable at this RV Park. Got 134kB down and hardly anything up so WiFi is what you have to rely on. Towers right outside the park is aparanetwly T-Mobile. I still see five bars on the iPhone but data and voice hardly usable.
Very nice even with another Class A moving in beside us.
$2.00 for washer and $1.50 for dryer. Room very small. Only one dryer was in working order. Very clean.
Walmart 9 minutes, Camping World 2 minutes, RV American Park is another RV-park just on the other side of the fence. - BasilFawlty
Oct 2018 - $70.00
Our favorite place to stay in Albuquerque. Clean and quiet. Close to neighbors but sites wider than lots of other places. Price per night was double the usual because of the Balloon Fiesta. Flat sites with plenty of space. Convenient to I-40. - Hartleyfam
Sep 2018 - $35.00
Just west of downtown with easy freeway access. Truck stop nearby, but it was quiet. Good staff and easy pull-through site. Excellent wifi. - Zephyrcon
Mar 2019 - $34.00
Very friendly, helpful staff. Quiet park but some road noise due to being close to the I-40. Continental breakfast included and all day coffee and popcorn available. - Kiwijo
Jan 2019 - $45.00
Decent place for an overnight stop, since it wasn't very expensive. Our site was uneven and needed a lot of leveling, and it's a bit small to fit in when towing a car. Lots of noise, we heard a back up beeper late into the evening and then some alarm that seemed to go on forever. Laundry room was dirty and one of the four machines didn't work. - jimandlisa
Dec 2018 - $44.00
This is a large, well kept RV Resort just west of Albuquerque. We were there at the beginning of winter so the park was mostly empty. We camped in the new section (north-east side of the park) which has no grass, just gravel/rocks, but had long, level, pull-through sites. Although sites aren't exactly spacious, they have decent separation for a commercial RV Resort. There is a small dog park, but we mostly walked around the RV Park since it was big enough for us to get decently long walks. The web site boasts "Upgraded Free High Speed WiFi" but even though the park was mostly empty, we found the WiFi to be pretty slow. AT&T and Verizon worked well, so we used our hotspots instead. There's a pool, hot tub, and other amenities (which we didn't use). Overall the park is very nice compared to other options in the area, though you do end up paying more for that higher quality. We'd stay again. - LifeRebooted
Feb 2019 - $28.00
Staff were friendly and helpful. Park is quiet with simple landscaping and very clean. Easy to maneuver through the wide streets. Most sites are pullthroughs. Some sites are longer/wider than others. No grass on/between sites. Laundry room is spacious and reasonably priced. The vintage feel of this former trading post is pretty awesome, both inside and out. Lots of road noise from I-40. - a_elkins
Jan 2019 - $35.00
I always like staying here, there’s always a space available; it’s quiet and clean and service is great. It’s outside of town which I think is a good thing. - Woody-wood
Dec 2018 - $36.00
Nice, well maintained RV park. Wagon Master RV park is also an alpaca ranch. They feature daily feeding tours. Roads are gravel, with level gravel sites. There is a laundry room and a separate bath house. Sites are a combination of long pull thrus and back in. The utilities worked well, are convenient, and easy to hook up. There is plenty of room for awnings and slides with a small separating grass area. Each site has a picnic table. There is a small swimming pool, but no hot tub. There are no planned activities. Rated as Average. We recommend this RV Park and would stay there again. 30 minutes to Dallas/Fort Worth - Pacatrader
Jul 2018 - $18.00
Typical of Air Force FamCamps, overall in need of maintenance on just about everything, overall good FamCamp but not great. If you have an RV over 30 feet you will need to use the Truman Gate (24/7) located on the north side of the the base, off of Gibson Blvd. Smaller RVs can use the Eubank Gate (24/7) located on the east side of the base just off of Eubank Blvd. The newer section has large wide sites using common FHUs between the sites. There's absolutely no shade in the newer section. Signage here is horrible. I had to park in the area just south of the newer sites and walk around to find the office. The office is closed on weekends. There are instructions at the office for after hours check in. When arriving after hours you can park in any open site that does not have a cone in it. Then fill out the reservation provided at the office, place it in the dropbox, then mark an 'X' on your site on the campground map. You can pay by check or credit card. If paying by credit card go to the office and provide your credit card info. As others have stated if you drive your RV into the last road on the west of the FamCamp you will need to disconnect to turn around if no sites are available. In the older area most of the sites are not really big rig friendly. Dense trees offer good shade but can be a problem with large RVs and slides. Sites 25 through 33 in the older section are big rig friendly. Those sites off some shade and green grass. If you want grass and shade those are the best for big rigs. Sites 25 through 33 share a common power pedestal. Which means on some sites you will need to run you power cord under your RV to the power pedestal to the right of your RV. Be prepared and bring an good extension cord. In sites 25 through 33 every other site has a concrete pad. There is WiFi but almost useless with .71Mbps download, 3.07Mbps upload. Verizon Data 34Mbps download, 16.8Mbps upload. AT&T data 6.90Mbps download, 15.1Mbps upload. Verizon cell service was good. - ETB
Jul 2018 - $18.00
We have stayed here at least 5 times in our 29' Class C since Oct of 2016 and each time the facilities seem worse. We stayed in the older section of the park and the showers were dirty and didn't work correctly (hot water can't be adjusted or turned on). The shower laundry facility needs to be renovated or a new one completely rebuilt. This Famcamp gets a lot of usage especially during the balloonfest. The free wifi works well enough some of the time. - dfcordero
Jun 2017 - $18.00
Park was great, spots were huge. Didn't use the shower/ bath but the laundry room was ok. Could use some updating and maintenance. No issues and would stay here again. - Ranger18
Mar 2015 - $30.00
We stayed at El Rancho RV & Mobile Home Park for 4 nights while we were in Albuquerque visiting friends & family. NOTE--the entrance is on Zuni.
We had a nice site with water, sewer & 30 amp power & we did not have a problem getting our 27' trailer backed in. The park itself was quiet, clean & the residents were cordial. Wyoming is a main street that had a lot of traffic on Friday & Saturday nights but was otherwise fine.
We found the location to be very convenient for restaurants, the downtown RailRunner station & a nearby dog park that was really nice. We felt that we received good value and convenience & will return to El Rancho on our next visit to Albuquerque. - dawnbmoore
May 2014 - $30.00
We picked this park due to its location close to town and the mountains. The neighborhood isn't the best; we knew that going in, but were disappointed when the manager suggested that we not walk our dogs in the neighborhood. He reassured us that the park was safe with one entrance/exit that is monitored. As a prior military guy who lives on site with his wife and family, I believed him. We felt very safe, and after investigating moving, we decided that the dogs could sacrifice their usual long morning walks since this place was so convenient and the price was reasonable. The manager was super nice. He asked us to call when we were close so that he could greet us and guide us right to our spot. He gave us recommendations for restaurants, laundry and sights based on our interest. He gave us a business card so that we could call him if we needed advice. The park was very quiet and other residents were friendly. We walked our dogs around the park in the mornings and several residents came out to say hi...to our dogs and one even gave them treats. Note: the address is Wyoming, but the entrance is on Zuni! There are no laundry, bathrooms or showers on site. I would recommend this place and if ever back in ABQ would stay here again. - MichelleKry
Oct 2013 - $35.00
This park is located just outside Kirtland Air Force Base. Looks like it is not in the best part of town, but that may be misleading. The owner of the park is just great. He will greet you as you enter the park and stand by your window, guiding you very effortlessly into your site. There are mostly permanent residents and you will find a mixture of older and newer RV's. We did not find the sites to be as cramped as another reviewer stated but they are not spacious either. Entirely adequate for a short term visit. We are keeping this park as one of our preferred "spots" in our AZ-OH travels. - KPsunshine
May 2017 - $15.00
This park is an older trailer park close to the bosque along the Rio Grande River. The location of the park is its only redeeming factor for my stay here. I had a shaded, back in sites that was heavily treed, so a satellite dish would not function in this location. I had to disconnect my 18' car hauler trailer but adequate space was available close by at no extra fee. The RV sites are vacant trailer sites with FHU, 30A/50A services, no cable but OTA available. Because it is a very older trailer park, most residents have set up permanent sites with small, storage outbuildings. Most permanent residential sites are in need of extensive clean up, landscaping improvements and many have multiple forms of transportation, some in need of repair or disposal. Some of the trailers are in the same condition, in need of repair or disposal. My site had several neighbors with dogs that barked constantly. The park itself sits next to another trailer park in similar condition. The owner met me at my arrival, led me to my site and that was the last time I saw her. The few reasons for staying for a month was because of its location. We would ride our bicycles along the well-constructed bicycle and running paths along the Rio Grande River. You can ride for many miles in a north/south direction and feel vary safe. The park sits in a very nice neighborhood with some very expensive homes and private, gated subdivisions and compounds. The park is in very poor condition and is a very, well-established, older trailer park. The purpose of permitting motorhomes and RV's is to generate some income in the unused, trailer sites. The minimum stay is a month, no daily or weekly stays. Electric is metered so monthly fee is reflected in my camping fee and had an electric fee on top of the monthly fee of $360. As much as I really liked the location, I would not return. - kihei7
Feb 2019 - $56.00
Easy to access, only two turns off I40. Side roads are wide. Spacious reception area, has propane on site too. Sites are standard KOA, tight and close together. Our site was paved, just long enough for the RV and to angle park the tow car. The park is clean and well kept. Staff picked up garbage curbside before noon. The park closed the gate at 6pm and a guard opened it upon arrival. We never felt unsafe in the area. We used the RV repair place down the street from the entrance, fueled up at the station next to it and shopped locally. - DJR CMR
Dec 2018 - $52.00
Nice place to stay for the night. The pull-thru spots are just long enough if you do not disconnect a your truck from the fiver. Clean, quiet and helpful staff. - Gone to the Dog Show
Nov 2018 - $57.00
This KOA is Owned by KOA Corporate, I-40 Traffic Noise, Great Shopping Within 2 miles, Open, All Paved Roads - Very Expensive - Kinda of Tight in some areas. Had 5 bars of AT&T Data & good cellular. Good Dish Satellite & OTA Reception. Stayed here to visit the National Museum of Nuclear Science & Have my puppy groomed at PetSmart. New Mexico has some of the highest lodging taxes in the country at 13.9%. - Lugnuts
Mar 2019 - $50.00
Have stayed here three times! All sites concrete and roads are paved. There is a pool, 2 pickleball courts and a small putting green, and ample room between sites. Door to door transportation to casino provided with a phone call. We are not casino people and have only used it once to check it out. Food not that great in the restaurant we chose. There are two dog parks. It is a good stopping point when we are on the road heading out west. - Road_Runner
Feb 2019 - $50.00
In awe! This is the cleanest facility we have stayed at. They set the bar high! We would highly recommend. It's quiet good value for the the price which we thought was very reasonable. Great amenities. Great service. Friendly staff. - WERS
Oct 2018 - $50.00
First stay at RV park behind a casino. Spotless, well designed concrete park. Gravel between sites with pretty desert type landscaping. Well lit. Two dog parks that were spotless and spacious. Laundry room offered new machines and cheap. Shuttle available to take folks to casino. The restaurant was very good. Only negative was the desert plants inside the dog park were a real nuisance. Poodle fur attracted the flowers. Took hours to brush out. Hoping owners remove the bushes inside the dog park. Great for stays to/from ALBUQUERQUE. - Andrea W
