For a reasonable safe stop for the night or a few days there is nothing wrong with this place. All gravel parking lot/rv sites, pull through sites are long enough for the longest rigs. Fairly easy to get into and out of this park. Office hours are odd, but if you call when they are open will answer the phone. WIFI was iffy, only kind of worked for a short time. - weighit

A good campground for one or more nights. Campground has full hook-up sites that are either pull-thru or back-in. Sites fairly level & are gravel. Water pressure is good. Sites are satellite friendly. WiFi spotty, as I think it comes from the Casino. Speaking of the Casino, it is within walking distance. Campground offers a concrete walking path with gate to get to the casino. The area is beautiful & worth the drive down to the Acoma Pueblo. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. - Tinisu

This is basically a gravel parking lot with FHU. Has about 5 pull thru and maybe 12 back-in sites. No cable but we picked up several channels with our antenna. Sites are close together but room for your slides, not quite level and fairly long. Small dog park that is also all rocks. This is a great place for overnight, especially for $11.36 ! We'll stay here again if in the area. - travelswithpuppies

During a blizzard that hit New Mexico, I decided to pull into the Sky City RV Park to spend the night. It was 11:00. The office was dark and closed. There was no directions on where to register. I figured I'd pull into a site and pay the next morning. The next morning, I left the RV park and went to their travel center and bought gasoline. It was still blizzard conditions out. The gasoline was only $1.99/gallon. I asked an attendant on where to pay for the RV park site. They told me the front desk at the hotel across the street. I went there and the front desk clerk said she closed out yesterday's registrations and couldn't add my stay. I suggested that she log me in as an after midnight arrival so she could put it down as a next day's registration so I could pay. For some reason she couldn't do that. She said that she won't charge me for the stay. The park itself, from what I could see of it, as it was dark and covered in snow, was nice and organized with relatively spacious sites. - ArmandV

Nice spot to stop and fuel up and rest for the night. Sites are concrete, level (at least ours was), hook ups worked fine, and a casino to get a bite to eat. The shuttle will pick you up but we just walked over and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Not necessarily a great place to walk pets as there are stickers and not any grass. Boy dogs shouldn't have a problem but it could be a challenge for the girls if they only "go" on grass. :-) Still a great place to stop and a great price for all you get. I love the desert look and the mountains all around. The sunset was spectacular. Some road noise but if you stay along an interstate it can't be avoided. Not as bad as some though. We will definitely stay here again. - tb919

This location is a good spot to pull in, recharge your batteries, top off your white tank, and drain your grey, black, and galley tanks. Ground is slanted heavy, after I finish my to-do list I plan on turning around to help in leveling efforts. - Canonman16

First stay at RV park behind a casino. Spotless, well designed concrete park. Gravel between sites with pretty desert type landscaping. Well lit. Two dog parks that were spotless and spacious. Laundry room offered new machines and cheap. Shuttle available to take folks to casino. The restaurant was very good. Only negative was the desert plants inside the dog park were a real nuisance. Poodle fur attracted the flowers. Took hours to brush out. Hoping owners remove the bushes inside the dog park. Great for stays to/from ALBUQUERQUE. - Andrea W
Oct 2018 - $54.00
This campground is part of the Route 66 Casino complex. Although very expensive, the sites and amenities are deluxe. Really wide and long pull throughs with space between sites. The end sites are fantastic with desert views and a few native plants, fire ring and picnic table. The gravel surrounding the concrete pads are done in different colors in a simple design. The "club house" is well done and has gas fireplace, foosball, pool table, shuffleboard, big screen TV and free coffee. The casino's all you can eat crab buffet was great but only if you like seafood. The other offerings on Fridays were minimal. Casino didn't smell of smoke as bad as some and there is a very small non-smoking section. - NanciRV

After being on the east coast for over a year (where you can reach out and touch your neighbor), it is so nice to be in an rv park that has some room! Long, wide pull thru site with concrete so a big rig won't damage the asphalt. This park is brand new and it shows! Just off I-40 (route 66) but far enough away so there is no highway noise. Right next to a Route 66 Casino. Park has an outdoor pool and you can use the casino's indoopool too. The Casino has 5 restaurants so you really don't need to drive to Albuquerque for dinner. - Patdrin
