2 RV Parks near Lordsburg, New Mexico
Feb 2019 - $63.00
Overall the park was well maintained, quiet, the train noise was not too bad (it was a distant sound). The attendants were pleasant and personable. The only real issue I had, and the reason why my value rating was terrible and the overall rating 4 poor was due to the assigned spot. It was not level and therefore I was not able to full extend my slides. This made our stay unacceptable. Just traveling through did not hook up to water or sewer. Because there was no shower available, I couldn't shower... AND the toilets are right next to the showers (no real privacy). I would not want to use the shower with someone using the toilets. Another reason for my "Value" and "Overall" ratings. Ask for a different site if you get the one I had. If they leveled it out then it should be fine. - Mike M

Clean with train noise that was bearable. Nothing to do in this town unless you like ATV or 4 wheeling. Good for 1 or 2 stay. - geo cong

7 mile dirt road into park but very well maintained. Park hosts very nice and helpful. Beautiful area and wildlife. It is dusty so your RV and items will get dirty. - Greg and Brenda

7 miles of serious Washboard dirt road makes this a never again Rv park. No where to change your mind and turn around. It took us over an hour to get up the road. If you care about your RV don't go. Nice campsite once you get there. Varied size sites, all back in. We have a 43 ft 5th wheel and couldn't get into or fit in our assigned site but we were able to find another acceptible site. Bathrooms were clean and nice. Camp host was accomodating. It's way out in the boonies, with a bunch of other long term campers. Nice sense of community. May be worth the drive for a long term stay, but definitely not for an overnighter. - dnrsadventures

7 MILE DIRT ROAD to get here. It took us almost an hour to ease our way into this gem in a 43' motorhome, but it was worth it. Full hookups with 50 amp power and FREE firewood!! This place is essentially a coop camp community that has a number of "daily" sites. Best showers we have ever seen. Deer throughout the campground drove the dogs nuts. Cattle roaming in the woods are pretty startling. wonderful people made us feel very welcome. NO cell service of any kind. No WiFi, no cable. - bobcovey
