Just a plain park but has free wi-fi and cable. The best was the man who is in charge. So very nice and accommodating. He explains everything about the town and goes that extra mile. I would stay there again!!! - Linda Mae
Nov 2017 - $1.00
Read some bad reviews but I found it very nice. Front office people nice & accommodating. Clean restrooms/showers/laundry. - nancy parker
Oct 2017 - $38.00
This is an old small park with tight spaces. We have stayed here most every year when passing through to visit friends. It is very convenient to Messila and to our friends. It is gravel throughout. Spaces will accomodate our 36' DP with 4 slideouts and room to park the toad alongside. This leaves very little space for outdoor relaxing. The mix seems to be about 50% long time and 50% short time up to a couple of weeks. The owner is clearly just keeping up and we just hope he doesn't close the place down and sell to a developer like his neighbor cg did in '07. - xctraveler

Feb 2019 - $46.00
This big-rig friendly park is easy-on/easy-off from I-10, very clean and well-maintained. Interior roads are paved; and sites are long pull-throughs, small-sized gravel, and mostly level. Many sites have fencing, trees and shrubs for extra privacy. There are smaller back-in sites around perimeter of park. Park offers WiFi, cable TV, and a long, fenced, gravel dog run. There are many more amenities that we didn't use, since we only stayed overnight. We would definitely stay here again. - FranM
Jan 2019 - $40.00
Stayed for one night enroute to Texas. Sites are VERY, VERY close together and one the short side for a 40' motorhome towing a vehicle. The restrooms were not ventilated well, and were not the cleanest. All in all, an OK stay for one night, as it was easy on, easy off the freeway. - SewBzzzy
Jan 2019 - $46.00
We stayed here two nights on our way to AZ. Wide, paved streets. Wide, level pads covered with crushed stone. Showers, bathrooms, exercise room, meeting room all excellent, in good repair and clean. Nice landscaping. WiFi and Cable TV signals were excellent, possibly the best I have experienced while RVing. The water pressure at this park is high, so be sure to have a water pressure regulator. My water pressure regulator read 80 psi before I adjusted it down to a more appropriate level. Would stay here again. Not a concern for us, but no park bench, grill or fire pit at our site. - Biggie2016

May 2018 - $22.00
Dusty park next to motel. Nearly empty at the time we stayed. Friendly check-in staff, but patience is required. Sites are wide and access roads are easy to navigate. Location is just off freeway. If your motorhome is shorter than 40', you can probably get away without disconnecting. Otherwise, plan to disconnect your tow vehicle. For fifth wheel, only the shortest could avoid disconnecting. However, sites are wide enough so you can park next to your RV. Biggest concerns were sewer connections above curb level, water connection very close to the ground, and stray dogs wandering throughout park (don't leave your shoes outside or they may disappear). Highway noise was minimal. Price reflects Passport America. City tax brings total nightly rate to just under $25. Not a destination type of park, but decent for an overnight stay. Given no other option, we would return. - 45 ACP
Mar 2018 - $25.00
This is a convenient stop over campground and nothing more. It may be under new ownership as there were few people at the motel and it looked like upgrades were in progress. It was hardly with the price of $18 2 years ago but not it's up to $25 with Passport America. Half the park is full timers and about 8-10 sites are suitable for larger rigs. No shade. We will not stay here again in our Big Rig motorhome. - lmg
Apr 2017 - $25.00
I don't know where to start. The positives of this park are that it's very easy off/on the freeway, sites are pull through and mostly level. When we checked in, Rick the manager, overcharged us at $25 a night after the Passport America discount ($50 for 2 nights), when it was supposed to be $18 a night. He said the price just went up to $25. He was a bit passive aggressive so I didn't argue the price. We later heard him reduce it to $20 a night cash for 2 other couples because they complained to him. Grrrrr! This place is a major dump. The motel was rundown, the pool area was all closed down so looked nothing like the pics on the Passport America site. They claim to have showers and when we asked where they were he reluctantly gave us a key to the men's only and pointed out that it was on the back side of part of the motel building. He said that the woman's tub looked terrible because it was stained, messed up, etc. and suggested that we both use the men's. He then said, "When you unlock it to go in, just yell 'anyone in here?' before you go in." When we went to look at it we were mortified! It was a disgusting old rundown motel room and once we realized that it wasn't safe to use, due to multiple keys given out, we returned the key and showered in our rig. There were mostly resident RVs here and we felt creeped out while staying at this park. I would NOT recommend it and we'd boondock before we'd stay here again. We were in the first row, I think #5. - Fun Full-timers

Access was good. Even with the construction on the street. Signage was adequate. Check in was quick, easy and informative. Parameter roads are gravel and in good condition. Our site, 32 was a gravelled back in. It was wide for an urban park. It came with a table, 30/50 power, water, sewer, cable and Wifi. Wifi was only fair. It did slow down on occasion. The park nlso has in addition to washrooms, a coin laundry, pickle ball court, and a fenced dog run. There are a number of permanents but we did not notice any sites that were trashy. This is an urban park so expect the normal sirens etc. The north end of the park appears to back onto a commercial lot. We noted some industrial noise while walking our dog but not much at our site. There are restaurants and groceries available within easy walking distance. All services are available in Las Cruces. We received a "construction discount" that was a little better than the GS that we expected. We paid $30.00 per night including tax and feel we received fair value for our dollar. We would return. - Rollin Ollens
Jan 2019 - $34.00
This is a very basic park however the staff is very friendly and helpful. In fact, the staff gladly forwarded mail to our next RV park even though it arrived two days after we left. They even called us to keep us informed. The sites were large and the park was quiet and peaceful, even at night. We will definitely stay here again when in the area. - Larry 1126
Jan 2019 - $30.00
Rules are often responsible for killing joy but in this case they are responsible for a neat, barbered, peaceful and well-behaved neighborhood. This park has no junk trailers among the permanent residents (management keeps a tight rein on year of manufacture & appearance), cultivates beautiful oleanders/shrubs/trees around the space, holds dog owners to act responsibly and keeps the grass thick, watered and healthy. It was almost like the comfortable feeling of staying with your parents! On site # 70 utilities were conveniently located and reliable but water, electric and sewer hook-ups were bunched closely together requiring either some very short connections or a whole lot of creativity. Our heavily graveled pull-through was perfectly level without any correction. Wi-Fi was strong and easily connected; cable TV offered a wide selection of channels-some channels were sharper than others. Because of our short stay, most of the amenities were not used. Although clearly an older RV Park, I would describe the sense of this place as "exclusive." The one major criticism, which is temporary and beyond the control of management, is the horribly constrictive construction. We got a construction nuisance discount that was better than Good Sam. Be sure to call ahead and get specific instructions for navigating the mess. - TMN-15

We had a nice pull in site that gave us great views out the ft windshield! Easy check in, nice folks. Very clean large site. Good power/water. - Tredguy
Nov 2018 - $40.00
This a very nice smaller park. Meticulously cared for. Gravel is raked and wetted down daily to reduce dust. Everything is well maintained and clean. Although handy to the I-10, there is no traffic noise. (Nor noise from trains or planes.) the park is part way up a hill, and overlooks the city and the mountains, which is spectacular at night. Location is handy to shopping etc. We loved this park. Our one complaint was the internet. As is often the case, it is provided by a third party. When connected, speed and performance are quite reasonable. But the connection was always being reset, forcing us back to the provider gateway page to reread the conditions of use and click to continue. We were doing email, a little banking, and reading news, trip planning research, etc. Nothing heavy on bandwidth. We would return again, but would be inquiring about the state of their internet connection first. - nobghuri

Located at the junction of I-10 and I-25, the Las Cruces KOA is situated directly on the winter snowbird migration route and the park, in an otherwise non-descript part of NM, was packed with northerners and Canadians towing and hauling everything they owned to Arizona for the season. Gravel roads, with fairly level concrete runners to park on at the sites which are very close together. Cable available. Nothing blocking satellite reception. Single bathhouse at the front office near the pool. Good place for a day or two. Lac Cruces has many authentic NM eateries, being 40 miles away from Hatch, the Mecca of Chili-bellies. Desert views are spectacular. - Todd Hancock

Working class full size mobile home park. Use to have 8 sites for RVs. Now 7 of the 8 are being rented by full time RVs working in Las Cruces. Quiet park. OK for short visit. $15 a day $90 weekly. Dirt sites with dirt street. Tried to run credit check just to rent one week, we refused since we were paying cash. It's just ok. Low voltage. It's just a place to plug in.
Neighbors quiet working families. Permanent trailers are run down. - Larc

This place is basically a dump! It's only positive feature is it's close proximity to I-10, with easy on and off. Showers/restrooms are disgusting. My alternative is a Walmart lot, and since I will shower in my rig, no advantage in staying here! Walmart restrooms are hugely better than what we have here. I read the reviews from 2015 and nothing has changed in the past three years. - Seabeck Stan
Jul 2018 - $20.00
We stopped to use the dump station. No one was in the office. Called the number on the window. The lady that answered was friendly but upset that the person was not in the office. The person showed up at 930 (opens at 9) was rude and they charged 12.81 to dump. Plus you had to drive around to find a site to dump. The store/office was a mess looked like a Goodwill gone bad, or a garage sale. The kid that was running the store was a mess and had to leave the store to get change. - Betty Perez
Mar 2018 - $20.00
I called ahead the morning I planned to arrive and was told there would be a site. Upon arrival I had to call the lady as she was not in the office. I asked for a site as far away from the road as possible and was told I only had 2 choices which were as close to the road as possible. There were empty sites towards the back but I presume they are not available for Passport America members to use. I'm sure others have mentioned it is very noisy from the I-10 traffic. - mrracechaser

Nice park in the desert of New Mexico. Great views all around. Hiking trails were easy, but offered a great way to explore the area.No paved roads anywhere, lots of dust to get your rig very dirty.Park was very tight for our 40 ft motor home, but we got in and out with no problems.Cost an extra $14.00 to book online, would recommend reservations as park was full when we were there in the middle of the week. - Donny and Donna
Apr 2018 - $18.00
Wonderful state park! Very well taken care of; the staff is excellent. We had a pull-through site that was long enough for our truck and 40' 5th wheel...we did not have to unhitch. Clean bathhouse and a nice playground. Dump station is clean and in a convenient location. Quiet at night. The only improvement needed, is better signage inside this little park. When we arrived, the office was already closed. I knew our site number, but the road wasn't completely clear as to which way to turn, so I ended up turning down the wrong loop and that loop was really tough to get our big rig safely around. We made it, but it was a (very) close one. Outside of that, it was EXCELLENT. The loop our site was in, was very easy to move around it. Definitely big rig friendly. Would most definitely stay here again. - atlantafamilyof4

Great little park! This was our 1st stop of a year long journey and we appreciated the quiet and low key ambiance. We enjoyed some bird watching and walking around the area. Only problem was freezing water hose at night but it thawed by late morning. Now we know to disconnect when freezing temps are possible. - AZ Retired Traveler

We called the same day and the staff at the recreation center were very helpful. This is a small park with full hook-ups and great views of the mountains. There is a grassy park close by for walking our dogs. The commissary is small but the staff there were also extremely friendly and helpful. All sites are pull through, we would stay here again and recommend it. It is a little off the beaten path but we were glad we gave it a try! - Sewing
