We visit this rv park 2-3 times a year. It is normally very clean but this time we noticed significant trash under the bushes at our campsite. Additionally, we were parked close to the clubhouse and the farolitos that usually light up the tops of the stucco walls surrounding the patio area were melted and completely ruined, yet had not been cleaned off the building. It looked very bad, very messy. We brought both issues to the attention of the office workers halfway thru our week long stay, but nothing was done to clean things up. For the increased prices, we hope they act to keep the park clean. It is a beautiful location and the staff is pleasant. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our three-week stay at this campground. It was a good base to visit Santa Fe, Ghost Ranch and other surrounding points of interest. The mountain views and sunsets from the campground are beautiful. We really enjoyed the sculptures throughout the campground-a very nice added touch. Our site more than fit us, which is always nice. It is one of the nicest commercial campgrounds that we have found near a larger/tourist city. A unique combination of pretty views, sculptures, a site that fit us, and it was quiet ... a mix that we have not found otherwise. The only negative is site spacing in general (side to side) is not spacious, but not bad-in our particular site, it was fine. Also, the people who work here are very nice and customer service focused (when making reservations, checking in, etc.)-which further adds to the appeal! We will return. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here many times in the past and have always enjoyed our visits. The value rating is for the Festival fee we were charged for arriving on the last day of the Balloon Festival (Oct. 15, 2018). We didn't attend the Festival but were charged the extra $39.00 per night for the rest of the 4 nights we spent at the campground. We were told that the extra fee was to pay for extra help for services and cleanup for the caravans during the festival. Unfortunately, we will not be staying here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:
At the edge of town, but beautiful night skies. Fairly close to many activities and Old Town. We went to Prairie Dog Glass where you can learn glass blowing and purchase beautiful glassware. Cacao Santa Fe is a chocolate lovers paradise. Try the sipping bar for a sip of almost heaven hot chocolate and then see chocolate made in their kitchen. Don't miss the variety of foods and veggies at the Santa Fe Market. We have seen most of the museums over the years so choose what interests you.

About 8 miles south of Santa Fe Plaza, Santa Fe Skies RV Park is an interesting place to spend a few days and see the very cool local sights. The main drive in is paved, but the rest of the roads and sites are dirt/clay. Main group of sites are up on the top of the hill near the office and are typical slanted side by side pull-thrus. The rest of the sites, and the one we were assigned are scattered down the hill to the east in what they call the Yucca Zone on a maze of side roads. Truly need a map to navigate and some of the turns are tight. Odd layout and our pull thru was curved around a terrace wall which required quite a bit of back and forth to get the rig close to the concrete patio (a must as the ground turns to sticky red mud when it rains). Utilities works fine, good power, water pressure. Cable available, no trees to block satellite reception. Very nice view of the NM high dessert. The Yucca sites are spaced nicely giving a bit of room and privacy. Only bathhouse is at the office, which meant the Yucca folks had a bit of a schlep up the hill. WiFi was OK and ATT was good. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Old Santa Fe is a very picturesque and historic place to visit...and it appeared that everyone else thought so too. Crowded with tourists and very hard to find parking. Very nice restaurants, but very long waits (45-60min) for tables. Lots of NM shops offering Indian trinkets and chili spices. Loads of shopping 3 miles away on Cerillos road. Very good NM food at El Comal (no wait ;)

Stayed here after the Balloon Festival. RV park is very nice. No trees to interfere with satellite reception. Wifi was one of the best that I have had at a RV Park. Each site has it's own little patio with a table and chairs. some have full size table and bench and some have bistro style table and 2 chairs. Bathroom was large and clean. Staff was always willing to help if you needed it. Close to all types of shopping and downtown Santa Fe. Will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here during Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta so price was higher than usual. Very clean, fun RV Park. Laundry uses credit cards. Cost $10 to wash and dry two loads. Beautifully landscaped with quirky sculptures. Nice concrete patio and great views. 3/4 mile walking trail great for dogs and humans. Convenient to everything in Santa Fe. Helpful when we had a trailer brake issue. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Good place to stay if you're visiting Santa Fe and surrounding areas. We were on Aster Street and were satisfied with out site at the end of the road. Nice level site but we narrow sites, we were very close to each other. Concrete pad with small table and two chairs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was when it rained one day during our stay the dirt was washed onto the patio and our rug. No cable. There is a lot of metal artwork so gave the appearance of being a little bit junky. Everything we did tended to be to the north so from SF Skies it made the drive a little farther. We would stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are compact & roads are rather narrow but actually we had no problems navigating to our site or exiting when we left. This park is built on a hill so there are some views & there is a lot of art work scattered about the park. We were visiting friends in Santa Fe so we didn't do much besides sleep & shower while in the park but we did sit outside one night & found it to be nicely quiet - no kids or parties. We didn't like our site as much this time as the last time we stayed here. We had to VERY carefully navigate out of it on departure because the big rig across from us had its rear end right at the road and the big rig next to us on the left had their car parked in front of their rig right at the edge of the road. We were surrounded by 45'ers that barely fit into their "big rig" sites! It's a lovely park but tight on the north side sites. Lots of sculptures and an antique equipment garden as well. Nice views of the mountains to the east. Tucked back near a neighborhood so pay close attention to GPS because no places to turn around! We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Site not level, roads narrow and difficult for a 40' mh to navigate. I was in a buddy site end to end. Fortunately no one came into the other site otherwise I would of had to back out onto a nasty little slope. If I moved forward I would not have been able to exit directly. Select a site up above by the office. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Was a bit concerned after looking at Google Earth, some YouTube videos and some pictures, but was very pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The place was packed due to Fiesta time just finishing up, but we booked early and were placed in a great site (Aster 8) at the end of a row with great views and a table/chairs and patio on BOTH sides of the site. Excellent patios, utilities, landscaping. In fact, we saw landscapers out every single day doing some amazing things. Their written materials are excellent (local info), except they indicate you might be able to get 4 or 5 over the air TV stations, but we received over 30 digital channels over the air. The 'row' sites at the north/west are very nice, long and ample room width-wise (there were some huge rigs, Prevosts and such, here and appeared to have enough room). Most of the other 'open area' sites to the south/west (Yucca) looked great, lots of space between them, open area views.....but some were very short (Yucca 1-15). Very nice place overall. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park Is very convenient to I-25 but far enough away that we didn't hear any road noise. The roads and sites are gravel with a concrete patio at each site. We were in a pull-thru site but there are also back-in sites available. Our site was not very long so we had to park our truck sideways in front of it. No cable, but we pulled in lots of stations OTA. We had 3 bars 4G of ATT. The park WiFi is so-so. It worked one minute, then wouldn't connect a few minutes later. They have an off-leash dog park, a walking trail around the park, and some interesting art work and antique pieces scattered throughout. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

8 miles from the old central plaza in downtown Santa Fe. Park is about 12-14 miles from the old town of Madrid - probably most famous for the movie "Wild Hogs" with John Travolta and Tim Allen. Now a thriving artist community. Interesting shops and a couple of tasty restaurants. Easy drive to the Sandia Crest. Several good golf courses in the area - we recommend Cochiti Lake Golf Club.

Definitely going into Santa Fe for shopping. There is a Walmart not far. Another town we drove to was Madrid. It is a little weird (not bad), but lots of shops, and my friends found jewelry.

Lots to do and see in the area including historic downtown Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Pecos, Jemez Springs and the Valles Caldera. Santa Fe offers many great restaurants and art galleries. For those who are in to "mechanical" antiques, scattered around the RV park are numerous "hit-and-miss" stationary motors, old trucks and tractors.

Santa Fe is so charming. We enjoyed the old downtown area, the farmer's market at the Railyards, great lunch at Tomasita's and hiking at Picacho Peak. We found the best Margarita in town made by bartender "Skye" at the Agave Lounge inside the El Dorado Hotel & Spa. Ask for her by name.

We went exploring every day. Lots of things to do and see around Santa Fe. Enjoyed everything about the area. Weather was surprisingly mild for late July.
Z06 • July 2017 -
Tortilla Flats was very good authentic (spicy hot) Mexican food. We liked it there so much we went for breakfast and dinner! Loretto Chapel with Miraculous Staircase is something to see. Also historic Santa Fe near the Loretto Chapel has a lot of small shops and street vendors with their handmade pottery and jewelry.
AJay • July 2017 -
Good place to stay but I don't like the cramped feel of the park. There is a walking trail around the entire park which is very nice.
cgaskins • July 2017 -
Meowwolf museum is wonderfully different and fun. Bandalier National Monument, about 50 minute drive was fabulous. Bradbury Science Museum is fascinating (Manhattan Project). Oldest house in America, Palace of Governors, downtown Santa Fe, beautiful original Native American jewelry.

See Santa Fe in it fullest. Movie set ranch just South at Bonanza Creek Ranch. Make sure to eat a the locals' favorite places...just ask around. If you want to see a old pueblo visit Pecos Nat'l Historic Park, near Pecos, NM with a breakfast or lunch at Frankies at the Casanova. Watch "Pecos NHP: Glorieta" Music Video on YouTube by NPS Rangers.

Visited Old Santa Fe, Taos, Santuario de Chimayo on the High Road to Taos.
DreamBoat 30 • June 2017 -
Nearby Santa Fe and Albuquerque are nice, especially the Plaza in Santa Fe and Old Town in ABQ. By far, the most fun we had was at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe... more than enough reason to come back.
Wryly Blithe • June 2017 -
Suggest reservations if in peak times....June 2017 was very, very windy on highway from Roswell to Santa Fe. But cool, breezy, sunny and fabulous
Oooooooo • June 2017 -
Beautiful capitol building with great art display inside.
Graz160 • May 2017 -
Some of the sites have concrete patioes with patio furniture. That seemed to be a good option. Santa Fe is about 20 minutes from the park if you plan to visit the downtown area. Pantry restaurant is a MUST for breakfast. The breakfast burrito was outstanding!
Our RV Trek • May 2017 -
We come to Santa Fe for one main reason: Jackalope. The other reason is the Santa Fe Plaza. If you want some really nice pots and yard stuff hit up Jackalope and a couple other places on Cerillos that are just for that purpose. We dropped $1,000 on pots and yard goodies. The plaza is only about 20 minutes into town where you can see all the shops and stop by La Fonda. Santa Fe is a great place to decompress for a few days.
CORockies • May 2017 -
The plaza in Santa Fe has numerous museums and shops to spend the day visiting.
John Borajkiewicz • May 2017 -
Santa Fe is beautiful, but a little pricey. Historical museum downtown was interesting. Bandelier Natl Monument and Taos are possible day trips.

Maria's for New Mexican food!
ronboett • April 2017 -
The park is close to the typical tourist stuff. We visited Los Alamos, Bandelier Nat'l Park, White Rock Overlook. In Historic Santa Fe, we visited the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Francis of Assisi and Loretto Chapel. Also, the rate is a weekly rate.
Living the Life • April 2017 -
Make sure that your rig AND vehicle will fit before you go. Also, ask them about any construction going on when booking.

There is so much to do around Santa Fe....shopping, casinos, scenic drives, the trip to Bandelier National Monument is worth the time. It's a beautifully natural area with lots of petroglyphs and historical significance in the cave dwellings.
monamonaco • August 2016 -
Went to the mall in town. Parked our car and caught the bus downtown to the Plaza. Nice to not worry about parking and let somebody else do the driving plus you get a nice tour of the city on the way down and back

Try Los Potrillos for some great Mexican food. The Santa Fe Brewing Co. is near by and has a great sampling/tasting room.
TXiceman1 • July 2016 -
25 minutes to Old Santa Fe.
SemperParatus • July 2016 -
This park is on a bluff above the city so we got a nice cooling breeze in the evenings that gave some relief from the high 90s June weather. Lots of metal sculpture and other art on the property.
malachi110 • June 2016 -
Parking in SF is difficult, lots and street parking are pricey as is everything in SF. Plenty to see and do.
daviputnam • June 2016 -
Tour the Bandelier National Monument and the Bradbury Science Museum (Manhattan Project, WWII atom bomb development) both near Los Alamos, about an hour away from the campground.
Johnson's • June 2016 -
Most any shopping you would want/need is on Hwy 14 and that leads to downtown SF. Take lots of quarters for parking meters if you're going downtown. We have a full size pickup and found parking pretty easily in the area of Marcy & Otero and it's an easy walk from there to the shops, museums, etc.
Francie L • April 2016 -
30 minutes away is a Robert Trent Jones Jr designed golf course Cochiti Golf Club.
Jimmytheshoe • April 2016 -

The Santa Fe Plaza, the Capitol Building, Loretto Chapel are must sees. Santa Fe downtown is a good place to just wander, taking in the art and jewelry shops and the beautiful architecture. There is a post office in the Santa Fe Mall, next to Penneys not far from the RV Park. The RV park is a good base for exploring other areas north of Santa Fe.

Shopping and resturants in Sante Fe, great!!
The penguins 3 • September 2015 -
If you like outdoor activities, you will love Santa Fe. There are a lot of great hiking trails (National & State) within 20 miles of the RV park along with good restaurants. The Plaza had a Fiesta going on while we were there where all the artists try to sell turquoise jewelry and paintings. There was good parking for free at The Visitor Center. A drive out to Bandelier National Monument is a must along with a stop in Los Alamos.
DIXIEDUALLY2013 • September 2015 -
Walmart and other useful shopping about 5 minutes away. Limited diesel fill up choices in Santa Fe that provide easy maneuver ability.
rivercity • September 2015 -
We were able to get to downtown Santa Fe in 15 to 20 min. If you are there on a Sat. or Sun., you can park right as your going into town in the Travel Info lot, which is adjacent to a municipal lot. It doesn't cost anything, and is a couple of blocks away from the center of town. Take the Loretto Trolly for $15. It is about 1.5 hrs., and will give you an excellent overview of the city.
Jessicadez • August 2015 -
Took a side trip to Los Alamos and Madrid. Interesting towns. Breakfast at the Flying Tortilla is a must.

Don't miss El Rancho de las Golondrinas ... an open air museum nearby. All the historic churches are great to visit. Cafe Pasqual's serves great food; and we also enjoyed a casual lunch at the Coyote Cafe's rooftop cantina.

Head to Madrid. Just about 20 miles down the turquoise trail. The plaza is always fun. Great shopping and people watching. The Native American artisans at the governor's palace are amazing. Something for everyone there! Happy trails...

If you love good food....dont miss eating at Pasqual's downtown. Its an eating experience. Also recommend Tia Sophia's for lunch but be prepared for a short wait.

Santa Fe New Mexico is truly a land of enchantment. Cerrillos Road is the main drag through town and very accessible from the camp ground. Go to the plaza and see the Loreto Chapel and the cathedral.

Had dinner at Marias, one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. If you don't like spicy Santa Fe style food don't go there. If you do, go for the burn.
