This is a simple park. Nothing fancy but cute and rustic. The sites are pretty private. This park does not have entertainment for kids. It was quiet and everyone we met was very friendly. It a good stop for a couple nights. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We've stayed here before and will stay here again. Perfect base for exploring SW New Mexico. Sites are well-spaced and shielded by junipers. Quiet! Finally an RV park without a railroad within earshot. A cemetery borders one side but we'll all end up there someday. A lot of history there: visit Billy the Kid's mother's grave. Deer, rabbits, quail, and jack rabbits seemed to enjoy the quiet too. Have been in both their pull-through and back-in sites without issues: some leveling required but we weren't expecting a paved parking lot. The staff is very friendly though we did not see much of them since we didn't hang around during the day but were off exploring. No fire rings allowsd! We loved it: use propane to cook outside and not smoke everyone out. Dust? We saw very little except from some vehicles exceeding the 10 mph limit. With a lot of wheels on the ground, we didn't raise any dust at 6 - 8 mph. The bathroom/shower facilities were great and centrally located. The park is very near shopping and services which is convenient for our home base. No issue with the utilities. WiFi? If my old phone can connect and reconnect easily with great download speeds, the WiFi is smoking hot. Very cool to see all the old farm machinery on display from a time when life was much harder and people were way stronger. I also liked all the heavy timber and old metal roofing improving privacy between sites. My only complaint, being a tree hugger: the tree-trimming to improve access was very sloppy but maybe it was completed by visitors. I'm no arborist but the right way is not that difficult. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

All mentioned before. Close to shopping, go to the office or town visitor center to get pointed towards all the outdoor fun in the area. Enjoy some eclectic cuisine but don't miss the little joints with New Mexican food. We liked Revel, Diane's, Nancy's, La Cocina, Wranglers, Adobe Springs, Forest Pizza...

We had a pull through with a very nice sized site. Small trees and shrubbery between sites so sites are very private. A number of back in sites appeared to be unlevel but ours was fine. Good utilities, easy to reach. Fast, reliable wi-fi among the best we have encountered. Strong Verizon signal. Only downer was our site did not have a table or patio. Given all, we would stay again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Handy to all services in Silver City. Wal-mart, Albertsons, CVS, Walgreens nearby. Not far to historic downtown which has many restaurants, art galleries, and coffee shops. Be sure and take the 44 mile, 2 hour trip up to the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. Well worth the hilly, curvy drive.

Great location in Silver City. Nice, clean, quiet, most sites have a divider/trees for your space so you are not opening your door into your neighbor’s space. We stayed for a month so had monthly rate plus electric. Laundry room could use updating, older machines and some did not work. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We were with a rally group none of the pull thru sites were even close to being level, most of us drove up on leveling pads to keep from having the front wheels off the ground. The sites have lots of room, no picnic tables or fire rings and we were not allowed to cook using charcoal, propane was ok. No washing of RVs allowed, all sites and roads are dusty, you would think they would let you rinse off the dirt. The grounds are nice to walk there is a barn for large groups to gather. There is an excellent recycling area, the WIFI is very fast and OTA television is good. The office staff was very friendly and accommodating. We would stay again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Gila Cliff Dwellings are awesome to see, there are lots of hiking trails and beautiful mountain views. Millies bake house is a great little restaurant in historic section of Silver City, the Buckhorn Saloon restaurant although famous was way over priced and we thought the food was just edible, dont waste your money even the beer was over priced great atmosphere though.

Our second time to Rose Valley, this time for three months (monthly rate). Everything about this RV park is outstanding. Lots of space between RVs, nice private patio areas, great laundry facilities and showers, bathrooms and blazing WiFi. Power stable the three months we stayed. Rose Valley has significant property which lends itself to evening walks and plenty of outdoor space for pets to run. This is a truly outstanding RV park. Silver City is know as the gateway to the Gila Wilderness. Gila cliff dwellings are 30 miles away. Lots of great & scenic hiking nearby. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

This is a great park with large sites and lots of space between sites. The little privacy fences are a nice touch. Utilities worked well and were placed together mid-site. Site and roads are gravel. Roads were very dusty (my only negative). The Wifi worked very well and also had a strong Verizon signal. Rate is Passport America and then Good Sam for additional night. We definitely would stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 10 years ago and loved it. This park is a lot nicer than the other RV park in the center of town. It is a beautiful, treed, park like setting --- almost like a State Park. The roads and sites are gravel over dirt. Our site was dead level. The full hookups were flawless. The "very good" wifi was actually not so good but T-Mobile worked fine. The showers and baths were roomy and clean with lots of hot water. Our prior stay was in January. At that time, the ground and roads were slightly damp and dust free. On this trip in late April, the dust was too much. We couldn't wait to leave. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Very quit campground nearby center of town. Sites vary in size, but were all nicely separated by windscreens and vegetation. The four large private restroom/shower rooms were very clean. The Wi-Fi was good! About 15 TV-channels via the antenna. Quit a few permanent residents (who drive too fast). Anyone an idea why wind bells are allowed at a campground ... ? We will be back. A nice park, probably the best in Silver City. Many sites give you the "feel" of being in a State Park and not a commercial R.V. park. Well landscaped, good roads, fixtures are all excellent and rest room facilities are cared for regularly. Friendly & helpful staff. Good central location. We got in after the office closed and found our packet taped to the office door. We had been placed in site 63, which we found easy enough, thanks to their packet and their site map. Site 63 is on the down slope of a hill. We spent an hour trying to get level, after we moved to site 73, which was open. There, we were able to get leveled on the first attempt. We checked in the next day, and there was no problem with our move. The interior roads are gravel, with the sites a mix of gravel and dirt. There was no problems getting everything connected. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Rose Valley is conveniently located off Route 180. The park was very quiet and the lots have far better than average privacy with fenced seating area and well place/pruned trees. I arrived after hours and they had my lot info taped to the office door. Everybody I encountered was very pleasant. Cell service was very good for AT&T and Sprint. The park wifi gives excellent coverage and better than average performance. If you are a MC enthusiast then you will love the ride up route 15 to the Gila Cliff Dwellings, plus lots of roads though the National Forests. I will be returning!

DO NOT use route 152 if coming in from I-25. This road has 2, 12' 8" bridges and is a mountain pass with extremely narrow roads that do not accommodate larger RVs. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

The front office does not offer a store so make sure you bring the RV basics with you... all else can be had at the local stores. You can get to ACE, Walgreens, Albertsons, Griffins (propane) etc. all within a 5 minute drive.

We really liked the location of this park in relation to the Gila Cliff Dwellings and the "Catwalk". I highly recommend a visit to both sites. Our site was spacious, and we really liked the small patio/wind break to put our chairs into. The drawback was that our pull through site was quite a bit off level. We had to raise the passenger side of our trailer up 3", and the hitch had to be raised 8-1/2" to get level. On top of that, it had recently rained and the ground was very soft. Our levelers sank into the gravel/dirt mix and we had to relevel several times. I'd recommend that you bring some wood planks to help with leveling if the ground is damp. There is a cemetery right next to the park if that is an issue for you. There is no dog park to let your doggies run if needed. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the Gila Cliff Dwellings and the "Catwalk". There are some nice Mexican restaurants down town. If you want to go on an extended day trip and worry about your dogs, there is a great solution. Town and Country Veterinary Clinic is located just across the street from the entrance to the RV park. They charge a very affordable $10 per day for doggie day care. You just need to plan you day so you're back by 5 pm to pick them up.

This park had somewhat level sites, on the back side there is a drop off so somewhat difficult to use your stabilizers. The hook ups were centrally located. The wifi and antenna worked just fine. The rest room was very clean and the shower had plenty of hot, hot water. One neat thing is they gave us a simple handout that was very useful explaining directions to hospital, urgent care, fuel, tire repair, rv repair, rv parts, LP, shopping, etc--it was very accurate and simple to use.
