New owner, real nice guy. The entrance is not well marked, to the right of a motel in front of the park. I missed the drive way, but the owner saw what happened, drove to the gas station where I was filling my rig, and asked if I was looking for a site. He then led me back, 8:30 on a mid week fall night, pitch black. It was a real god send. Tight spots but was able to maneuver a 31 FT Itasca and toad. All facilities worked. Right by the river. Others have mentioned the railroad but I didn't notice anything. The sites are grass so in spring I imagine they are very muddy. Over all a great value. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

Very convenient stopover off of I-88 in Bainbridge NY. Mgmt was welcoming and helpful in locating a good site for our satellite reception. The sites were level gravel with grass strips between. There were numerous trains passing somewhere nearby during the day but at night with a/c we don't know whether that would be an issue. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

An angler’s dream RV site. Right on the Susquehanna River. Peace and quiet. Considered better for 55+ because no playground or kids’ activities. The owner was awesome and very helpful, providing us with a level, dry, riverside site, despite the heavy storm just prior to our late arrival. (We had to stop because the winds were so severe.) We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very small campground behind the motel (same owner). Sites are on or near the river. Tight maneuvering for a large rig towing a vehicle. We had to dodge several vehicles that were partially parked in the road. Leaving, we had to dodge another vehicle, bushes and trees, up a hill, and make a sharp left to exit. Not sure about the previous reviews mention of gravel sites. All we saw was grass and mud. Not the owner's fault, but it rained and the interior roads and sites were muddy messes. We left huge tire grooves in our site. We were scared to death we were going to sink in the middle of the night or get stuck trying to leave. And this would happen just after we got new tires! Our site was 30 amp - not sure if there is 50 amp. The sites are close together, and there is nothing between you and the next site except an occasional tree. The owner was gone when we arrived and showed up at our door at 8:30 pm to get payment (cash or check). That is also when we received the WII FII code! It was very slow and timed out constantly. We had 4g on Verizon so we used our hotspots. There are no OTA stations and Directv did not work due to trees. You need a box for the cable which isn't worth it for one night especially by the time we would have received it. The park is near the highway, and there was a lot of truck activity early on but it quieted down at night. There are trains nearby which we heard during the day. There are also pretty church bells that ring every hour. Even though it was mid-June, we were able to open the windows so we didn't need to run the air conditioners. We won't return. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

New owner's first season at the campground. Goes above and beyond to help you in any way. If RV resort living is for you don't come here. If you are looking for peaceful, quite riverside camping, this is for you. Our pull thru site overlooks the Susquehanna River. Just a short walk over the bridge into town. Be sure to visit Bob's Diner in town, great food. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here for one night. Park is small but clean and well maintained. A little tight getting around but our traveling partners have a 44' motor home and they managed fine. Owner was very nice. Wifi was very good. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

Liked this campground a lot. Good utilities with W/E/S and cable. WiFi was down when we were there but was told by other campers it usually works well. Decent gravel roads and pads are worn gravel and grassy. A few sites have concrete patios but they were taken by the campers that are there for the summer. These long termers were friendly and sites kept clean. Older but clean restroom/shower facilities. Quiet even though the highway is close. Train tracks in the distance but heard only one train in the night. Easy freeway access and a gas station and doughnut shop at the exit. No one was in the office when we arrived but the office was open and we filled out a registration slip, picked a site and paid later. Pretty laid back. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Travel Trailer.

This is a hard campground for me to rate. On the one hand, it's in a lovely setting and is right off the interstate (close to the highway, but far enough that we didn't hear much/any road noise). The river running beside the campground is really pretty as well. The owner is very nice and was helpful. On the other hand, it's awfully tight to get around in a big rig, and the sites are mostly grass and sparse gravel. The steps to the restrooms are very slick when it rains - one man took a hard fall on them in the rain. The park's exit needs to have some tree trimming done, as one branch hangs down and drags along the top and side of the RV upon exiting. There's a very low telephone line hanging over the exit as well, but we cleared it with about six inches to spare (we are 12 feet, 7 inches tall, I believe). I had to look at the telephone line for 10 minutes to make sure we could exit ok. Long story short, for smaller rigs passing through the area, I highly recommend this park for a short stopover. Value-wise, it can't be beat. For big rigs, it's a tough call. I saw one other big rig have trouble getting into the campground with his towed trailer. (The trailer hit a dirt embankment and left some serious ruts in the ground.) All hookups worked well. We had 30 amp power only. Didn't try the wifi. There's an easy fuel stop within a quarter mile. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

Small park right on the river's edge, behind an old motel. That doesn't sound real good when you first read it, but it's a small town and a fairly quiet spot. Good, level gravel and grass sites. Several pull-throughs. Mostly shaded. Really a nice, comfortable stop – especially for the price. Good cable TV connection, but no Wi-Fi. Would definitely stay again when passing through. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice level spot by the river. Some noise from trains and I-88 but not bad. No one in the office when I got there. I had called ahead and was told what site to take. Had to go back to the office twice to pay. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Motorhome.

This park was just reopening from the floods that had occurred. It is located behind the Susquehanna Motel. The owner was in the process of laying new gravel on the sites and roads and rebuilding the showers/restrooms. The park is a great one night stay, just off the I-88, with fuel close by. We camped at Riverside RV Camping in a Fifth Wheel.
