This is a very busy CG. Lots of families with small children. We were in the hill area. Basically a big open field with electric and water. For both tent and campers use. If we were to stay longer then overnight one of the full hook up individual sites would be our choice. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the nicest parks we have stayed in. Spent a week here. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Beautiful park. Our first two nights were on their hill in a group setting. It only had water and electric hook-ups. Very solid grass pad for parking. We moved to a full hook-up site for the remaining five days of our stay. It's a beautiful campground with lots of extras. The camp spots are larger than some I've stayed at. Two laundry rooms that I have found (maybe more). Huge store with all your camping needs, food, and entertainment and games for the kiddos. Miniature golf and swimming pool. water aerobics. Church on Sundays if you like church. Very large campground. Quite a few annuals live here. They do themes on the weekends. The theme for the weekend we were there was all about kids. Great family friendly campground. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Only an hour or so drive to Niagara Falls. We checked out both the American and Canadian Sides of the falls. Lots of fun. Also checked out Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural National Historic Site in Buffalo and Strong Museum of Play in Rochester.

Easy check in. Friendly staff. Stayed in the B area pull through site. Fairly easy to navigate even with a 40 ft 5 the wheel. Shady spot so had to put satalite dish about 50 ft away to get signal. Hook ups were good, site was level. Lots of areas to walk the dogs. All in all a pleasant stay and would stay again if in the area. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Was delayed on the way in, staff arranged for me to get into a site after the gate closed, and provided me with great assistance for a little problem I had with my trailer. Excellent flat, paved pull thru site. Super neat and clean CG, lots of amenities, great staff! Only stayed one night, but would definitely visit again for a longer stay! Overall Rating:

This park is basically a week-end destination for young families & also has quite a few permanent seasonals that keep a clean site. The only amenity here is the swimming pool. The place is clean & well maintained. The only issue is this: if you are an extremely light sleeper & do not like train horns, you might want to rethink this park. The train tracks are about half mile to the south with multiple crossings, & the trains seem to run mostly at night & early morning. If you have satellite tv, ask for sites 24,25,26,28,30,32,34,36,38,or 40. The odd numbered sites have trees at the front of each of those sites & you may not be able to get signal. Site 36 even has an internet antenna at the back, which is a bonus. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Brockport or Batavia is the closest Walmart. If you are interested in how water locks operate, Lockport is interesting. If you are a biker, Brockport is right on the Erie Canal & has a great biking trail. If you need rv parts, there is an RV supply store in Churchville that used to be a Camping World. If you're looking for a gourmet food store, there is Wegmans in Brockport that's excellent.

We have stayed at this park serveral times with our group. The staff is friendly and professional. The owners are constantly updating their facilities. Power and water pressure was excellent. The wifi was the best I have ever experienced, consistently above 15Mbps for downloads. There is only 30 amp available on the hill but we never had shortage of power in our 50amp rig. The owners are very friendly and doing many things to improve the park including paving the roads. Everyone we met here especially the staff were very friendly as well. The sites are spacious but with the gravel they are not perfectly level. It took me a few times adjusting to find a more level spot. Being between the Erie and Ontario lake, there is quiet a bit of wind here so be prepared for that depending on the time of year. You are also about 7-10 miles away from stores and a little over an hour from Niagara Falls. Cell service worked with T-Mobile worked very well here so I imagine the other two will work just fine too. We really enjoyed it here and will definitely return when we are in the area. This a really nice RV resort with good size sites and most have 30A and 50A hookups with sewer that seems to be in the middle of nowhere which makes is a good secret. There are many amenities including a great cable package and a real working Wi-Fi system. On Saturdays, they have a local truck come in and sell fresh produce plus there is a "Tiki Bar" at the pool selling food. The pools were always clean and usually occupied but more than half the park is seasonal campers who were very friendly. The speed limit was mostly obeyed which was a good thing as the roads are mostly stone and could get dusty. The downside is we saw MANY golf carts being driven by 6-9 year old children...the parents sat in the front with them but this is dangerous. We also moved onto a 2nd site which was dirty with a lots of paper and plastic wrappers all around the site, it would be nice if there was a cleanup crew when a site becomes vacant. They were already taking reservations for 2018 so it must be a popular destination. For the most part, a good stay and we would definitely come back here. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We found the office staff to be great each time we came in. Staff was just outstanding and funny. The campground itself is very well maintained. The pools looked great even though we did not use them. The flower garden areas are just so well done throughout the park. We loved the walking area in the woods and so did our dogs. The MiniGolf was also a nice find. We went into the bath houses even though we did not use them just to check them out, and even them are kept nice.

One of the BEST things...The Wi-Fi actually WORKD!!! And not just worked, worked really, really well and would be a reason to return as we need Wi-Fi for work. (Yes we have a Jetpack but it was not needed.) This is the first place we have stayed this summer where the Wi-Fi just worked! Unless you travel, you may not know this, but finding good RV Park Wi-Fi is not something that you find often if you can believe that! So whatever Southwoods RV Park is doing for that...It Works!

The seasonal sites are very well kept. Be sure to check out the last site all the way to the East part of the campground in the woods with the wolf chainsaw carvings! Can'y miss it!

All in all, a very good stay and we will be back. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.

For a Rally site it was decent size, considering we didn't have neighboring campers the entire stay. The site was pretty level. We were within walking distance to showers and laundry. Campground is very clean. There are two pools, one was closed for cleaning. The pool was satisfactory, did enjoy the lounge chairs provided poolside. The gentleman in the front office was extremely helpful and suggested a scenic drive to Niagara Falls. Did notice a fair number of golf carts driving around, but were not bothersome. Rally sites filled with weekend campers, but we still enjoyed a nice evening by the fire (they deliver wood without a delivery fee). WiFi signal was good. Great campground! Owners very kind and helpful. Stayed here one week while exploring the area. Camped in site B9. Sites were hidden in the trees near ample space between sites. Only complaint of this campground is the marginal water pressure. Didn't try wireless as I have unlimited data with Verizon. Verizon signal was good. Will definitely stay here again if in the area! Nice large campground with a mix of park models, seasonals and campsites. Large treed sites where we parked; other sites had fewer or no trees. Easy access into and out of campground. Located 30 minutes from downtown Rochester in the country. Park was actually just 5 miles off of US390, so access in and out of town was quick. Easy and pleasant country drive to Niagra Falls. Not actually a resort but a darn nice rv park/campground Most recent stay was 07/07/16 thru 07/10/16 (I 'm late in posting my review) . . . We camp in a Little Rig "Tear Drop" style RV only 15' long w/o toilet or shower ~ plus we like to eat outdoors using the picnic table and set up our dining canopy for sun and weather protection and thus rely on condition of campgrounds facilities and being nearby our site ~ so our critique is focused in that area. So the PROS of the restroom/shower/laundry building We DID get close ~ just across the roadway. They're nice and clean and bright - somewhat updated w/tiled floors and private fiberglass shower stalls w'/ changing area. Communal sink area also nice; not crowded and they have paper towels for campers to clean up area after use . . . and they do!. And the CONS: The shower stalls w/changing area very small [can hardly move about to dry off except for ADA stall]. No rubber mats on floor that are soppy wet so you're standing in dirty water trying to dry off No bench to sit but (1) folding chair to share with 3 stalls and if you use it, there's no room to move - only 1 hook and no shelves same at communal sink very inconvenient Overall the entire park itself is very accommodating w/large roomy sites [some shady] each with picnic table and fire ring. We were in the "open grass field area" [no shade however] that made a big circle around the amphitheater/stage building - it was nice. Roads are gravel as are the sites, fairly level. There are 2 pools, mini-golf, volley ball nets, playground, and community area within a few miles of the thru-way yet very peaceful and quiet setting. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This campground was recommended to us for its location and I am so glad we choose it. The staff was very friendly and over the top on customer service. They went way above with us and they have earned customers for life. The staff and owners really care about the grounds and the campers and it shows. I loved the two pools with the one with adult only hours. Very clean big rig friendly. A lot of seasonal but they were all very friendly. Very pet friendly. We stayed 3 nights. 40 Foot Class A Diesel Pusher with 4 slides and pulling our toad. We have our own satellite dish, use our OTA antenna and seldom use cable. We have 2 in our party with a small dog. Hook ups were acceptable with no issues on electricity, water or sewage. We use the WIFI for basic, seemed OK. We have our own MIFI. What we liked: The staff was courteous / friendly on arrival. Park has a secured gate for entrance and exit which is very nice. A deposit is given for the card key. The site we had was a back in with plenty of space. Park is very well kept and really in the country. Fresh air and very kind people all around. We enjoyed walking about the park with our dog meeting so many people. No doubt very good value for the money. We would stay here again. We camped at Southwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.
