Pretty easy to find. Nice layout for travelers, long pads, level, even though on a hillside. Many seasonals, but all clean and well kept. Plenty of space between sites. Quiet, clean, nice people. Awesome views from hilltop when driving in or out. New modern very clean showers at lower end. Worth the walk. Recommend for those traveling through. Looked like they had a lot of weekend activities for the seasonals, and nice playground for kids. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

Nice little gem of a campground. Lot's of room for the kids to play. Big sites, clean rest rooms and showers. Nice little pool. Close enough to Cobleskill, yet far enough away to enjoy really quiet nights. i can't write anything bad. Only thing missing is the sewer hook ups. They do have a dump station, but long stays here would become arduous for full timers like us. Love the place though and are returning. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

The park is well kept and easy to navigate. We were only here overnight so didnt use any amenities. Sites are very long, will fit any rig, but VERY unlevel side to side. Website says Escapee discount but only M-W. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Truck Camper.

This is just a nice, small and simple campground. There's no thrills, but they're not trying to charge you for thrills. You're definitely getting what you pay. Nice sites. Quiet Camping. Nice Pool. Playground area for kids. Big field for kids to play in. I guess they have activities during peak season, but we were there after Labor Day, so nothing was going on, but that was ok with us. You can certainly go with a Big Rig. We'll certainly return sometime. Best part is that it's 10 minutes from Howe Caverns. I gave this an overall rating of 10 because for what they're charging, they're giving you that all back in my opinion. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Very quiet campground!! Small, only 55 sites but lovely. Great value! Don't mind the rooster, he lives on a nearby farm and crows all day but makes a good conversation starter. They were the first campground to email us a receipt following our reservation, which was awesome. Their park map is clean and easy to read. 5mph is enforced and appreciated as our little ones wandered within sight throughout the grounds. Many seasonals here but unlike other CG, weekenders mix in well. The kids LOVED the pirate ship playground. The pool looked nice but the weather didn't allow us to swim. Only negative is the water - it has a very strong odor that prompted us to use bottled water for dish washing, teeth brushing and drinking. Even showering felt wrong. I looked up the reason and couldn't find one but assumed it was sulfur well water? Not sure. But would visit again regardless. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Travel Trailer.

Very much off the beaten path. Narrow roads to get there. Narrow entrance. There was no one next to us, but had there been we would have been looking in one another's windows. Nice enough check in. Lots of what looked like permanent residents. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Motorhome.

We needed a one night stay, I called the park and advised we would be in late. She stayed at the office to welcome us. The shower was the cleanest I've seen at an RV park. Great service and I would not hesitate to visit again, hopefully for a longer stay. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Motorhome.

Decent place. Showers are good, laundry facilities not so much. The washers stink! Overall it's a decent place. The people who run it are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely return, but I'd pass on doing laundry. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Motorhome.

The park has a country atmosphere. Easy driving with gravel roads and sites, some shady. The park was clean and well maintained, so much so, that management appears to favor the seasonals when it comes to navigating around the park. Just follow the driving rules, they are enforced. All utilities were up to specs, but had issues with the laundry machines. There are no sewer hook ups, but there is a dump station. A candy wagon makes the rounds but it costs. I haven't decided if I will return. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Rate is the Escapees discount rate. This place is okay, just okay. Most sites appear to be those of seasonals. Would have rated this campground higher but for three things. (1) No sewer. (2) The laundry is just one regular size washer and dryer. The cost is $2.00 a load. The highest we've encountered for a washer and dryer of this size. Only cold water allowed in the washer. My load consisted of one set of sheets, one towel, three sets of underwear and socks. The towel was still very wet as were the socks after going through the dryer. I was not about ready to sink two more dollars into it. (3) There is only one overhead light in the bathrooms. Therefore showers very dark and the floors are all concrete. Wear shower shoes! On the positive side - it's a clean park. Grass always cut. Pool appears well tended. Person at the store helpful and friendly. Bathrooms and laundry room clean. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.

Owners said the park first opened in 70's but they bought it in 2008, and have been making improvements. Their efforts show. Initially thought the park was only a few years old as everything looked relatively new. Heated pool was very clean. Wife rated her shower an 8 only because she has used a new KOA facility room. Wi-Fi only available at the Rec hall but that building was new, clean and had outlets to power the laptop. Would definitely stay here again and can highly recommend this campground. For the price it was definitely a 9 or possibly a 10. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The park is secluded and located a few miles from town. It is an older campground but is being re-worked to stay up to date. The owners are very friendly and live on site. Wi-Fi only covers a small area but is free. The facilities are clean and well maintained with some recent upgrades to sites. There are no sewer connections at sites but there is a central dump next to the office and a pump out service is also available. Propane is available in the park. My only negative is the lack of sewer connections at sites and the Wi-Fi range could be extended. We only stopped here for two days but this would be a nice place to spend a summer. We camped at Hide-A-Way Campsites in a Fifth Wheel.
