Overall Rating:

Sort of expensive but you get what you pay for. Very nice park. Very clean and everything is well kept. Beautiful pavillion at top of the hill. Could easily be a venue for any event including weddings. Big pool with lots of slides, cabanas, and all the things you would think of if you were truly at a resort. Bar and snack bar at the pool with what looks like an additional pavilion. Were stayed mid week in September so there was essentially nobody there. Oddly (we thought) almost every spot was full. Many TT's, fivers, along with some mondo Class A's all empty on Tuesday and Wednesday. A few people showed up on Thursday and the bar was open Thursday night, however we were the only 2 people there. Actually make for a delightful stay. The sights are mostly open. We stayed in 43 by the river. Huge open field out front and river to our rear. Excellent spot for DirecTV. There is a grocery store nearby in Gardiner. Easy, short trip to the FDR Presidential museum in Hyde Park and the US Military Academy in West Point. Highly suggest both. If going to West Point you have to fill out a Local Area Access form prior to them letting yo on campus. Go to their website and yo can download the form. Pretty easy process . Drive to the visitor center, (good parking for RV's even Class A's) then register at the visitor center. You will get a pass for the day. We then drove our rig right onto campus. We have a 25 ft Renegade on the Sprinter chassis so not huge but it was NO problem at all. There was ample parking by the Subway which is right next to the cemetery. Could have easily parked a 45 footer there. If you are relatively healthy yo can walk the entire campus. Must see if in the area. Also do the pedestrian bridge across the Hudson in Poughkeepsie. Pretty good parking for rigs on the West side of the bridge. Gravel lot. We had plenty of room. Could get a big rig in, may be tight. Would certainly stay there again. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

A wonderful place for children! Not only did they have a mini water park, but a heated pool as well, jumping pillow, many other fun things for kids and activities including arts and crafts, candy bingo, etc. The cabins were small, we had a problem with our RV sewer being too high but this was a great place and we will return. A golf cart is a must. Rent one when you make your reservation. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

Lots of activities, overall a great campground with many extras (water park & pools, mini golf, jumping pad and more). Prices are very reasonable as well. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

Clean Campground and well set up. River site was nice with partial shade. Mostly flat and we had a rock pad not the upgraded concrete pad which was closer to all of the amenities. Spray park was fun for all ages. Would definitely recommend. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground had changed a lot in the past few years. Some good and some not so good. I must say the campground is clean and the staff is pretty good. The problems are with owners. The pools are small and way over crowded witch makes it almost completely impossible to swim on a hot day. The pool area can look la where is Waldo picture. The other main problem is it gets VERY loud at night. Lots of loud music late at night. People set up outdoor tower speakers and blast music as late as 3am. I won’t be returning with my children. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

What can I say about the best campground we have stayed in. Now have stayed 17 nights and have enjoyed them all. Activities great, facility extra clean, staff extremely accommodating and friendly. Cable TV of over 80 channels! Free WiFi near excellent. This is proof of you get what you pay for. Worth the $$$. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

Second time staying here. Had a great spot right on the river. Water park feature and two pools are great for the kids. River is also quite good, though it was a bit shallow given the dry spell recently. Still, were able to wade/walk in it, and kayak too. Highlight for us was being able to rent a hot tub! They brought it to our site, filled it with hot water, and it was waiting for us when we arrived. Used it every day- just awesome. Food by the pool was surprisingly good. Campsite store was fine. Getting a good seat by the pools can be a challenge- should get there early. Also, the river front sites with the concrete pads are pricey- that was my biggest negative. But all in all, enjoyed our time here and will definitely return. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this campground in 2016 without issues. 2018 presented many issues. The campground has been greatly expanded since last season with both new cabins and new sites. Escorts in golf carts took each camper to their site ---except for our 39' rig and most likely others too. We were abandoned by the escort as he indicated he didn't know where our site was. He never came back for us!!!! He had the same map we did and after a nearly 30 minute wait we figured it out for ourselves. None of the new sites were numbered even with temporary signs. There was no fire ring (very chilly weekend) or cable for our site. We called and had to leave a message which was NEVER returned and we asked an employee who NEVER got back to us either. Communication is a HUGE issue as we wrote a letter (4 weeks ago) to the campgrounds with these issues and have NOT heard back from them. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one week and we have nothing but good things to say about this campground. The facilities are spotless and the staff is friendly and professional. There are many activites for kids and while this is not a quiet campground in the afternoons or evenings, quiet-hours are respected by all. We will definitely be back! They have dumped a bunch of money into the park which reflects in price to stay. The pool is great, lots of activities. They seem to be catering to the cabin rentals and have put in a ton of new ones, so you get lot of "non camping" people. Dog park is really nice. Lot of new sites up on hill but out in the sun. more sites have concrete pads and patios also which is nice. It's close to home so I will be back. This is a nice park, although a bit pricey. We stayed in a full hookup pull through site on packed gravel that was very easy to navigate and reasonably level. We had initially booked one of their deluxe riverside sites with an upgraded cement pad. but took a reconnaissance trip to the park a few weeks prior to our trip and didn't like how close the river sites were to the busy access road. We changed our reservation and we're glad we did. Cable and wifi worked fine for us, and we enjoyed our campsite, which had okay separation from neighboring sites and partial shade, as well as picnic table and fire ring. But this park was CROWDED. They really pack the campers in, so there's lots of coming and going throughout the day. Things settled down in the evening, but the park featured a live weekend band so it didn't really get peaceful until about 11pm. There's plenty to do for kids in this park, with a jumping pillow, water park, playgrounds, etc. The camp store is well stocked and not too pricey. The campsite rates, however, seem high for what they are. All in all it was a good time. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Travel Trailer.

Nice Park for family's with kids. Was just my wife and I. We stopped in for two nights. At check-in they gave wristbands to put on, told us if we lost them it would be a $20. charge. If we got caught without them on they could throw us out. Not having fun yet. Dinner plans with some local friends. Not putting it on. Maybe a clip on badge would work better. The site was muddy with a street drain in the middle of it but level.

Great place for large family's. Not for couples. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at a site on a newly created section they call "Up on the hill" and it definitely was. Weather was extremely hot and it was compounded by the fact that the "Hill" had absolutely zero shade. The campground itself was clean and well kept. The pool and children's water park were pretty crowded but given the nearly 100 degree temps that was to be expected. There were not enough chairs around the pool area. I learned later that the water park is open to the general public for a fee so not only were there campers and cabin people there but people that were just there to use the facilities as well. That caused more overcrowding than was necessary. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Lazy River in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed on the hill, next to the party house that the campground rents. There is no facilities on the hill. All gravel no bike riding downhill safely. This is the worst campground we have ever been to. They have a staff of children who don't know anything. This is poorly run, and charge you for each thing you might do. They charged $15 to go in early (2 hours) and no one was on the campsite. Their internet is worthless on the weekends when they are crowded. The internet was down for days and all they said was .."Up in a few hours" The showers were damn and dingy and we had to drive to them. Save your money, this place thinks they are Disney...they need to visit Camp Wilderness to see how to qualify for the high price they charge. Save your money go to a state park at all costs. This place is packed with lots of children and they have lots of teenagers running it. If I see the name Jelly anything or see any park associated with this one I will be speeding by. Learn how to run a campground and study about tourism. Gardiner is a wonderful town, what a bad taste you would have if you only stayed here.
