Very expensive, but a great place to visit the Niagara Falls area. Lots of amenities, beach, catch and release fishing, kayaks, canoes, zip line, daily activities, animal show, free root beer floats on Sat Night, Gaga Pit, Basketball hoops, Swimming Pool and lazy river, movies on Fri and Sun night. Very quiet after dark. Very friendly staff and good camp store. We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great place for a base camp to visit Niagara Falls, both American and Canadian side. If you are into wine, visit the wineries in Canada around Niagara on the Lake, they compare with those in Napa Valley. Crossing the border into and out of the US can be time consuming at times.

Had high expectations given the ratings and the campground did not disappoint. We normally stay at top-rated campgrounds and this one rivals all of them. The facilities were amazing, from the immaculate bathrooms, the beautiful store, the nice pools and the extensive playground amenities. Our kids typically don't utilize campground amenities but they spent 2 days using theirs including the ziplines. If I had to nitpick, the RV sites including the premium sites are good at best. Like others said, they don't appear as well maintained, whereas the bathrooms and trash cans are catered to constantly. We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This park cost a lot more than we normally pay, but it was so well worth it. It is a family friendly park with so much to do that our grand kids wanted to play all day. It was also one of these cleanest parks we have stayed at and the drive to/from the falls area was very easy. Our site, 201, was level and had a little shade. We were close to the bath house, but a little walk to the pool area. Things to do: play GaGa, swim in 2 pools, fish, hayride, animal show, arts and crafts, mini golf, zipline, etc. I'm so happy we chose this CG over others in the area. The only negative is there is only one grocery store on the island (which we didn't use) and I heard it was very good (small and expensive). We would recommend this CG to anyone - young and old. We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Motorhome.

Beautiful, spacious campground with huge sites. Ours was gravel back in but level and large. Pool, arts and crafts, daily activities, and large playground all included. Laser tag, zip line, kayaks, and bikes all on site for small daily fee. Close to all the Niagara sites, both American and Canadian. Expensive but worth the price. This park has really nice grounds, ponds and pools. However some of the sites are really poorly maintained and they don't clean the sites between customers. I would not take a site in the 40s or 50s. We had probably the worst site in the park, very narrow unlevel pad with dead grass. Of course they could not move us. Recommend you push for a specific site when making reservations (200s are newer sites). The value is really poor but they are in the Niagara area and alternatives are limited. You pay a $1 toll each time to leave/arrive on the island. no cable but OTA worked fine and was able to get satellite but some sites will be blocked so let them know if you have satellite when making reservation. Overall Rating:

This was the most perfect family campground we've been to. The staff is very nice and they're always outside working and helping. The back sites were perfect and decent sized. They have every amenity you could need and the grounds are pristine. Our favorites were the 3 pools and brand new playground. We have little kids and they were just as entertained as all the big kids. Very clean, everything was new and updated. Lots of bath house and some with family showering areas. We will definitely be returning! An earlier review said you need to make arrangements for the toll but you do not. It charges your plate automatically and mails you the $1.00 bill. Other than that their review was spot on! We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We enjoyed the American side of Niagara in the state park. We bikes but you could walk. Beautiful views and nice paths. Not far from the campgrounds there is a little place called Adrian's Custard and Beef. Excellent ice cream and I guess "Beef on Weck" is a local thing. There's a Tim Hortons coffee and grocery near as well.

Overall Rating:

This medium sized park has 135 back in and pull through sites, 12 tent sites, 15 cabins and 2 yurts. RV sites are a mix of 20 amp, 30 amp and 50 amp, some with FHU and some with W/E only. Most sites are gravel with picnic table and fire ring, but no patio so your sitting area is on grass (and mud after it rains). Only the 11 pull through sites have a concrete patio. Sites are very narrow and vary in length, spaciousness and levelness, but most appear to be level. Park entrance is narrow with a large boulder, requiring large rigs to swing wide in order to avoid. Interior roads are dirt/gravel over an asphalt base, but are quite narrow. We stayed in site 53, a spacious back-in site which was mostly level. Our site had a large ditch that required extra caution when backing in. The park has nice amenities (too many to list!), but most activities have an extra cost (see photo of their price list). The pools were closed but the lazy river opened May 17th. Activity center, mini-golf and playground were closed for renovations. Nice general store with gifts, candy, RV supplies, ice, firewood, drinks and ice cream. Bathroom/shower areas were extremely nice with 2-3 toilets and 2 showers per gender. There are also 2 washers and 2 dryers located in each bathhouse. Friendly staff. Propane sold onsite ($4 per gallon). Utilities worked well although our sewer placement was high and Verizon signal was good. No cable but we were able to get nearly 50 OTA channels. Park offers day passes to the public during the week. Overall, we had mixed feelings about this park. The price was the highest we have ever paid in 2 years of being full timers, and we expected a true "resort". The park is great for families and children and is more like a KOA with way too many "extra" costs. For a traveling couple without kids, it simply wasn't worth the price we paid and for that reason, we would not return. We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is about 10 minutes or so from Niagara Falls. The Maid of the Mist boat tour was still closed for the season (should have opened 3 weeks ago), but the boats on the Canadian side were running. Tops grocery store is 2 miles from the park. Be aware that there is an unavoidable cashless toll bridge to get to Grand Island (where the park is located), so you will need to make arrangements beforehand to get an EZ Pass transponder.

This place is fantastic. A purpose-built campground which opened around 2009. Full hookups (I think everywhere), some pull-throughs (although the back-in sites offer more privacy), and also cabins for people without RVs or tents. I have never seen cleaner bathrooms/showers in my life. Most sites are gravel; some have concrete pads. We brought kayaks and used then on the man made pond. Lots of fun. The kids (14/16) enjoyed the larger zipline ($15 per person for two rides). They had basketball, horseshoes, and many more activities all included. The staff here really care about running this place well and seem happy and proud to work there. We will be back! We camped at Branches of Niagara Campground and Resort in a Travel Trailer.

A nice campground. Plenty of activities at the campground and near Niagara Falls. It is a perfect place to stay while visiting the American side of the falls. Sites were level and spacious. Campground was very clean. Showers were clean. Kids had a great time at the campground store and activity shed. We also did some zip lining. I would definitely stay here again. Stayed for the weekend, lots of rain and our spot was flooded out. We had difficulty getting in and out of our Rv. we could not have a fire because the fire pit was in a pool. Wifi is poor and only works at the office. For what they charge, the spots should be better drained and the Wifi should work at your site. We only spent one night here, but it seemed like a great campground. Very close to Niagara Falls and other sites. They have lots of activities for kids throughout the day including arts and crafts, fishing, a pool, mini golf, and zip lines. It is a little higher price than other campgrounds but if you have kids it would be worth it. Our site was on the outside in the trees and we had to squeeze between two trees with just enough room for the slides but it worked. No problem getting satellite or cell service.
