The tent sites are fairly level. Tent sites with water and electricity are well maintained and work as advertised. A couple inches below grass is gravel (good for drainage, can be tough on longer tent stakes). There is little shade in the campground which can make tents hot during the day. Campground services are good. Bathrooms were generally clean and functioning. The two pools are a nice feature in the summer heat. Laundry area is open 24/7. There are two dog run areas. Camp store has essentials as well as extras. They also have excursion packages for sale to local sites. Staff are friendly and responsive to any issues. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Tent.

Access roads were dusty. Originally assigned site was so tight, I would not have been able to open a slider without hitting the RV next to me. The attendant was gracious enough to move us to another site that worked just fine. There were a ton of amenities if you had children but we were there simply to see Niagara Falls and Ft Niagara so there weren't a value to us, especially at that price! We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

staff went out of there way to make our stay great, the deluxe sight would not allow our sat to work due to a tree, they moved use to a great new site, it rained big time and everything drained quickly, they pick up your trash and they check on you every day we stayed for 4 nights. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 15 nights in a site for big rigs during the rainy season. The park is flat so it looked like most of the sites were level. Our satellite worked great here. If you have a dog there is ample area to walk your pet. The management is very nice and the park is located in a quiet area. We really enjoyed our stay here and would go back. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

An expensive park to be sure. But sites were spacious and the amenities were nice and close. A great jumping off point to see all of this area which is beautiful and very touristy. Very close to the falls with a variety of things to do in the area. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

At the office they'll give you a pamphlet for Bedore tours. We did this and found it well worth if for the four hour tour.

Very clean with open sites many of which are sat friendly. This place is very expensive and one would naturally expect service at the appropriate level. I was disappointed in a certain staff member who was very difficult to deal with when we called later in the day we left to see if they had found my Kindle that I accidentally left in the restroom. She said that she didn't have time to think about it or send one of the several men sitting around on golf carts (the guys who lead you to your site) to go see if it was still there. She was rude to my wife the second time she called to see if they had gotten around to check. An hour later when my wife called they had found it but unless we gave them our credit card number they would not send it. How much we asked? Postage or that plus a fee to mail it? No clue said the rude young lady. Said the manager would be back in a couple of days and she could tell us then. Three days later they still have it. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $107.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in a 40' motorhome for 4 nights, including a weekend. Upon arrival we checked in and were escorted to our site which we just barely fit in. Despite it being advertised as a 48' back in, our rear end touched the hedge in back and our mirrors were just 2 feet from the busy park road. Our toad had to be parked in the camp area on the grass, thus making the small outside space seem smaller. When setting up my power regulator would not engage due to low, 90 volts on leg 2 of the electric service. We called the front desk and finally got a maintenance man to come take a look, the breaker was bad and after a bit of time he got a new one installed. Water pressure was low at just less than 40psi so we used our rv water pump to supplement the flow. Cable service was good. Internet wifi was adequate. The sewer riser was so close to the wet bay it was almost too long even fully compressed. The general condition of the landscape in this area was not good. The grass was dried out and had not been cut in a good while. Tall weeds growing around some of the rvs parked on a full time basis. Although the original park on the front had nice large and shaded sites, the back sites, both pull-through and back in were extremely cramped and had more dirt than grass. Distance between some of the pull-through sites in the back section was only about 8 feet and left very little room to enjoy the outdoors. The dog parks were too small to use and there was a dog walk that paralleled the busy and loud freeway. This appears to be a case of where greed meets opportunity. The price for our short and cramped back in at over $100 per night is an insult. I understand paying extra for location, close to Niagara Falls; however, these sites would be substandard by any measure. We have camped in over 50 different RV parks in the last year and this was the worst. Will not be back and can not recommend. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at this KOA through the July 4th week. We had two afternoons where our power monitor cut power due to low voltage. We even tried a 50amp to 30 amp dog bone adapter but the voltage was still less than 110 volts. With two folks needing CPAP machines this was not good. On a third afternoon, we lost voltage and resorted to the generator for a couple of hours to run the AC. We finally ended up removing our Progressive Industries power monitor so we could run AC and CPAPs (NOT GOOD). Beyond the power issues, we enjoyed the park. Typical KOA with the sites a little close but amenities were good. We enjoyed the front swimming pool. It has shade during the evening. We were nearer the front of the campground so no issue with road noise. The fireworks from the adjacent amusement park were enjoyable. The service rating indicates the poor electrical service. The staff were friendly. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

Way over priced @ $91.00 to $97.00 per night. Not worth the price. Wifi was slow as with any park that uses Tengo Internet. Cable was a bit fuzzy. Water pressure was good. Staff was friendly and efficient. Gravel pull through sites that could use more gravel. Muddy when it rains with standing puddles. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy drive to Niagara Falls both US and Canadian sides. Amusement park next door for kids. Good pizza and cold beer at the Brick Oven Pizza place a 1/2 mile making a right out of the campground. Great soft serve ice cream 2 doors down from the Brick Oven Pizza. Biggest medium ice cream I ever had.

This was my first stay at a KOA. Reservation process and check in was very easy. Your are escorted to your site. Power, water, sewer, and cable hookups were convenient and in good working order. Cable channel selection was good. Wifi worked good for general surfing, although it did get a little slow at times. Restroom/bathhouse closest to my site was very clean. The campground overall was very neat and clean. There are 2 pools and playground equipment for the kids. The campground is in 2 sections. The front section sites seemed a little nicer than the ones in the back section. Road noise from the interstate at my site was not bad. There are several longterm campers and some park model type sites towards the back and closer to the interstate. All of the sites close to mine where back in sites. They are all gravel and in much need of additional gravel. A good bit of leveling (front to back) was needed at my site. It had rained the night before we got there and there was lots of puddles around. I saw one site that had some minor ruts caused when the occupant left. All in all, this is a very nice campground and the people are very friendly and helpful. Other than needing some gravel hauled in to some sites everything was good. My only other negative was the price. I'm sure location has a lot to do with what I consider high prices. It is very convenient to Niagara Falls and to Buffalo. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Motorhome.

The site was gravel and we had a rain storm over night and you had water all around the site you had to maneuver around to keep from being in the water when leaving or entering the trailer. Electric, water, sewer and TV worked well. The wifi was adequate but did not have great speed. The rate was a little high but it is the nicest RV Park in the Niagara Falls area. The entry into the section of the park we were in had an left angle and was not well marked so I missed it and had to make a circle to get into my site. The exit from my site was sharp so I also had to make a circle to get out of my site. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

In any other area, this would be overpriced but from what we heard in the area, this is the nicest for the area. Because it is close to Niagara Falls, they can justify the price. Gravel pads with old paved roads. Lots of standing water when it rained. Our friends had an inch of water around their camper after showers but we were in a different part and higher. Fire rings at each site. Front sites spacious but rear section tight. Staff courteous and pleasant. We camped at Niagara Falls / Grand Island KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

You are paying for the proximity to Niagara Falls, not for any special amenities. You actually end up sharing a wide driveway with a complete stranger who comes in from the opposite side of the pull thru. Thankfully they weren't crowded enough to warrant the "double-parking".
