We returned here again to attend the Folk School. The campground remains unchanged from 4 years ago except they now allow dogs in the CG. Sites are small. If your rig is any bigger than 30' chances are you won't fit here. It's nice to have this campground available for students, but it could use some updating. Almost every power pole is askew, evidence that it's tricky to back into the sites. Quiet at night and close to the main buildings. We'll stay here again when we take classes because it's so convenient. We camped at John C. Campbell Folk School Campground (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This tiny campground is for use by students of the Campbell Folk School. It's centrally located to most classrooms and the main hall. The Dining Room is a short walk away. For being so close to the facilities, the CG was surprisingly quiet and secluded. Sites are placed at an odd angle, with utilities also oddly placed. Most sites are back-in, and it was a bit tricky to get situated due to the angle. Had a chance to use the bathhouse when our water heater quit, and was very pleased with the cleanliness. Can't beat the convenience of this campground if you are attending classes here. We camped at John C. Campbell Folk School Campground (Members Only) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is only for students attending courses at the folk school. All RV sites are back-in on the outside of a loop. Tent sites are set in the woods on the entry road. School catalog says 34' is maximum but anything up to 36' will fit. Sites are mostly level but a couple could be a challenge. We picked a site that gave us satellite reception but most are too wooded for satellite. No TV reception. Wi-Fi is available in the office but not at the campsites. There is a lit walkway between the campground and the school facilities. Pets are not allowed at the school, including the campground. We camped at John C. Campbell Folk School Campground (Members Only) in a Motorhome.
