Sep 2019 - $20.00
There are 34 sites here. All sites are back-in and full hook-ups. There is no cable, but local channels were readily available. If you have your own Internet, streaming is good there too. The rate is probably the best in the area. If you don't need a swimming pool and activity center, this just might work for you. The beaches are nearby and there are plenty of things to do in the area. Wishing Well is a very quiet, family owned campground. It is pet friendly and has a large area to walk your pets. We've been here for almost 2 weeks and haven't heard a peep from any of the other campers. We would, without a doubt, stay here again. - Bob Ramsey
Jun 2016 - $12.00
Would have rated higher but not for big rigs due to trees with overhanging branches and only 30 amps. Nice small RV campground with gravel roads and dirt sites with a table. Mostly big trees for plenty of shade, but only a couple of sites can get satellite. All back in sites with FHU. No wi-fi, average cell signal, but free cable tv. Nice shower house but no game room, no club house, no pool, or laundry, and no scheduled activities. But very quiet. Separate area for tents and pop-ups with playground. 5 miles from beach. Owner friendly and helpful. GPS couldn't find it even though on main road. ½ mile east of KOA. Would stay there again. - Pepper Dan
May 2015 - $24.00
Small, quiet park, peaceful. Lots of shade. Great place to relax.
Owner was very nice and friendly.
Will stay again when we are in the area. - Rlcjw

Dec 2019 - $45.00
Very quiet, easily accessible park near some beautiful beaches. Has a mix of full timers and nightly folks. Groceries and some restaurants within 4 miles. Sites are all pull thru, gravel and reasonably level. There are some trees so some shade. The roads inside are gravel and in some need of work due to potholes. We stayed in winter so no comments on pool, etc. I thought the rates were a bit high for Dec. The outstanding thing here are the ladies that run the office. They are the nicest, helpful, cheerful ladies you will find. - TLL
Jul 2019 - $50.00
Good; Nice family oriented RV campground with gravel roads and level grass sites with table and grass. Club house, pool, pavilion, game room, small food store, and small pond. Free cable TV, free un-secured wi-fi by outside contractor. Quiet and 5 miles to small town. Not good; Office staff friendly but not helpful. We requested a site to get satellite when reserved and when checked in. Could get not signal at that site. The office staff didn't want to change site as they would have to do more paper work. The only park in 8 years of traveling that required proof of dog vaccinations before allowing check in. Check in time 3 pm, the staff upset if arrive before. Weak cell signal and only few available sites open for satellite. Mostly monthly units. At $50 per nite for a 30 amp W & E only site is not good value. Will not return. - Pepper Dan
May 2019 - $45.00
Let me just say the staff you come in to contact with is awesome. They were very friendly and helpful. We actually tried this on a whim because honestly we could not find anywhere else for Memorial Day weekend. This used to be a KOA, so the yellow street signs will throw you, but they are heavily affiliated with Good Sam's now. One section is 30/50 with full hookups, and closest to the pond is 30 amp water and electric only. Small pool is very refreshing on a very hot day. Fishing available, and if you are more into to seasonal sites instead of driving your camper around, they have a large storage lot. - Twisted M Living

Aug 2019 - $53.00
First time camping here. Very impressive campground spacing between sites is excellent. Spaces are very wide and are paved. We stayed on site number 115. Hookups on this row can be a challenge. Sewer hookup is at the back and water is at front. Be prepared to bring attachments. This row had sewer lines added later this at far rear or site, sites on this row have a level issue despite being concrete. Pool area is A plus. nice shallow entry and great water slide. Shower and rest rooms were superb. Water pressure was the best I have ever had in a shower. Food in snack bar was excellent and good value. Saw security at night and in early morning. We nave booked return in spring for a month. - JOHNGW
Aug 2019 - $81.00
What a great RV park! We stayed 7 nights while our daughter played softball in the WFC World Series. Had a great time. Bath houses are new and very clean. The pool was great at the end of the day to cool off and relax. They also have a bar open daily 11-5 near the pool. The store was well stocked and staff was very professional. The park is well situated just outside of North Myrtle Beach, very quite setting on the inner coastal waterway. Spacing between sites is the largest we have seen - simply awesome! Maneuvering our 42' fifth wheel was no problem at all, the roads and sites are well designed. We had a great time and have already made future reservations. This is a new park and does not have any shaded sites. Not really an issue as long as you have 2 or more A/C units. - Joe G1

Large park with asphalt roads and concrete pads. Very easy access. Friendly staff. Great internet. Satellite friendly. I'd stay here again. - The Aussie Cozzies

Very nice park , very spacious campsites, large areas to walk, Clean. FHU-- This park does no discounts. I asked it was take it or leave it. They staff at desk was all business and no friendly talk. The park is away from all the hustle bustle and quiet. The entire park is clean and all paved roads. - Clifton Hucks
Oct 2019 - $54.00
Campground very big with pull thru long sites and plenty of space between sites which I really liked. nice place to ride bikes, paved trail around large lake. only down side would be it is about 30 minute drive to the main beach area. We camped during the off season and enjoyed how quiet the place was and relaxing. We would return and stay longer next time because it was an 8 hour drive to get there from our home. - billreedred

Beautiful lake with one mile walking path. Quiet, well kept park. About 15 miles from beach areas of coastal South Carolina. Very spacious sites, well laid out campground. Nice pool and beach which closes after Labor Day. - RP-LP

Stay away for this park. The worst campground I have ever visited. This place is a dump. The staff is RUDE!!!!! I see why my family was the only daily renter; most are long term. Will not be back. - Wenrobb
May 2017 - $60.00
We have been camping here for years and always found it charming but what happened! No watercraft allowed? Dogs running loose or tied outside to camper on cables, cars racing up and down street, and I must admit, most violations I witnessed were by permanent residents in rear of campground. Doubt we will ever return. We do NOT recommend this campground as it is! - giezerglide
Jun 2016 - $50.00
Nice park if you have pets. Would have rated the park better if it had cable. Antenna reception is limited at best. Still nice park. - giezerglide

The property has been sold. We were told new owners are closing the campground. Some sites are right along a street and get a lot of traffic noise. Our site was 24' wide some were even wider - lots of room for slides and awnings. Very close to some major attractions and restaurants. Sites were clean and well maintained. - Cheryl

Good location to visit area attractions. Price reflects Coast to Coast rate plus $5 fee for 50 amp. Tax rate is very high. Park is well maintained. Leaves and acorns can be a problem on the sites with trees. - Mustcamp
Jun 2019 - $35.00
Very nice, quiet park near many restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Not very close to beach but doable if you have a vehicle. Staff very helpful and check in went smoothly. Our rate reflects Passport America except we had to pay full price $80 for weekend night. Also had to pay $2/night for power and 3% for using credit card. Lot of permanent sites and owner sites but plenty of sites for nightly stays. - CarolGD

My husband and I, plus our Scottish terrier stayed here for 4 nights. This is not an RV resort. It is a very nice RV campground. All roads and sites are dirt (sand) and rock. Sites are level and took little time to stabilize with jacks. They dry out fast after rain. The grounds are very nice and well maintained. You feel you are in a coastal forest. Sites are 45 feet wide so we had room to spread out. There is a very large wooded dog run that is also well-maintained. In fact they raked up the leaves in it while we were there. Each site has WiFi and it was good enough to stream. It is very quiet yet close enough to drive to beaches or Calabash for seafood (everywhere seemed to be 15 to 20 miles away). Beaches had the bigger chain supermarkets. We encountered no problems and everyone was very friendly. We don't watch much TV, but picked up at least 20 channels with our antenna. Cable was available if you purchase the use of their cable box ($3 I think). You do have to take your trash to the dumpster at the entrance. Many of the sites are long-term, but all of them were clean and neat and had quiet friendly people. Disconnect your tow vehicle at the office when you check in. Use a regulator for your water hookup-they have strong water pressure. We will definitely stay there again if in that area. - C_JONES
May 2019 - $42.00
What a lovely place. So picturesque, quiet and beautiful. Worth the little bit of extra driving if you want to visit North Myrtle Beach. The owners are so very pleasant, and laid back. A good amount of space between campers. Lots to do at the campground, horseshoes, corn hole, pool, wooded trails, and more. PLUS a winery right on property, with beautiful well kept grounds everywhere. Go do a wine tasting, and buy some local honey, jams, and more. Wish we had more time just to hang out at the campgrounds. Next time we will plan for that. The only negative was the dirt roads, and dirt pad. If you have a clean rig or car, you won't after a few days. But it's very well kept and the sites are mostly level. - Diane and Tom

Carrollwoods RV Park and Grapefull Sisters Winery. Tabor City, NC.
Despite the rain, it was a quiet, peaceful stay. Everyone was so friendly. Do the wine tasting....it is all so good. A long history to this property and the grapes they grow. We got a LOT of rain so there was some standing water on the gravel site but the staff worked hard with pumps to get it cleared out. I’ll be back! - Jess25

Sep 2016 - $40.00
This campground is tough to rate. The owners are kind and hospitable, and the grounds are clean. Many of the sites are occupied by full time residents. Basically, it's 50 sites for full hook-ups with nothing else. There are no bathrooms, showers, or laundry. Since all we needed was a place to park the RV while at the beach, it worked well. However, I can't see it being a great place for families with young kids needing things to do while at the campground. If heading to Holden or Ocean Isle Beach again, we would consider staying here again. - Roadschool

The park was very nice, quiet, and very well maintained with friendly management. It is close to beaches and shopping. We had a great visit for two weeks. Will definitely be back for another visit. - ntja
Oct 2009 - $30.00
This campground is grass sites with nothing fancy. It is close to town and to several beaches. We did not see management the three days we spent here. Everything was done by phone, and they were very pleasant. Campground offers very attractive monthly rates. The grass needed mowing and the interior road had some pot holes but overall a good place to stay. We would stay here again. - Al & Joan
