Oct 2019 - $53.00
Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy on and off to highway. Showers, laundry, WiFi, and dog park was good. No cable but no problem with our satellite. - Fulltimersrv
Aug 2019 - $50.00
Nice park, good access to Interstate. Vehicle noise acceptable. Staff helpful in getting some needed Rc service. Needed couple blocks to level. Good WiFi. Would stay here again. - RCM11
Jul 2019 - $57.00
We pulled in at mid afternoon. Our reservation was located quickly, & we were guided to site 14, which is level with partial shade. Grounds extremely well kept. Pool crystal clear. Excellent dog park area. Bathrooms immaculate. Staff was friendly & helpful-informed us of 2 food delivery options: Dominos or Chinese! The rate seems pricey, but the experience was excellent! - CampbellKid
Sep 2019 - $40.00
This is part of a city park, and we loved it. It's on a reservoir with boating, and a golf course nearby. Very convenient to shopping and restaurants, as well as airport and hospital. City provides free WiFi, apparently for residents and visitors city-wide. Campsites all have full hook ups, some 30 amp, some 50 amp, some both, with cable. Some sites share water and/or electric. Sites are paved pads (mostly sloped) surrounded by irregular ground and natural landscape (not flat), some of it rooty and/or rocky. All are back-in sites. Most in A and C are shady, section B is for big rigs and they are lined up like a parking lot with no trees in there. There are nice tent platforms (decks) available for tent camping, too. We camped in Section C, site 15, and it was right on the water. The bathhouse has very poor ventilation and no air conditioning, so it's terribly stuffy and hot this time of year (September). My sister reported very slick floors in the shower, so I showered in the RV. The "store" has a few camping supplies and emergency camping gear, but no souvenirs or fun stuff. Ice and bait are available. You can launch a boat right in the campground for boating or fishing. Pool supposedly closes Labor Day, but was open this week. Staff was friendly and helpful. I'll definitely go back. - Rosist
Aug 2019 - $30.00
The park was nice and the people were very friendly. Many sites were not level. There was not a fire ring which was disappointing since I usually cook over the fire. Some of the utilities were difficult to access. - rcsauce
Jun 2019 - $35.00
It was good. If you want to use the WiFi, Use it late at night or early in the morning. It’s very slow during the day - SomeRandomCamper
Jul 2019 - $25.00
Great stay! Our site was far from level so make sure you have plenty of leveling blocks. Also our 50ft of water hose wouldn’t reach the shared spigot at site B20, it was literally like 3 feet short. We had to fill our tank and run off that. No big deal but could be a pain if you don’t have one. Most of the other sites look much closer, just beware of this if you book this site. Great place I’ll definitely be back!!! - K9mayut
May 2019 - $25.00
Met by camp hosts as we drove in and had firewood delivered before we had even set up camp. A beautiful setting with trails to hike/bike, large open fields for the kids to play, and catch fireflies at dusk. Our site was shady and spacious, but choose wisely as some sites require significant leveling. We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and due to the number of campers, the electrical system and water supply struggled to keep up with demand. Bring extra hose as shared between sites. - Meyersdvm
Apr 2018 - $20.00
Lots of hiking trails, lots of picnic areas, very awesome swimming pool with crazy slide and stuff (extra costs). We camped in April, the bathrooms were barely functional. There was warm water, but no hot water. One shower was non-functional (the handicapped shower) with no controls or shower heads. The other was barely warm and sprayed water everywhere. Fire wood shack was next to pavilion but no way to get firewood after 5pm and there are no fire rings in the RV spots. Spots were very close together, and ALL spots were marked "RESERVED" Though they remained empty Thurs-Sunday. Sites are narrow raised gravel driveways with lower muddy spots on either side. If rain is in the forecast, bring a rubber mat ! The forest in not managed around the campsites and trees (LARGE) came crashing down in the tent area twice. Luckily no one was in those sites. Hiking the trails I picked up many "Juice box" wrappers, and several grocery bags, but actully it was cleaner than most places that have a lot of kids and picnic groups. - GoingNoWhereFast
Sep 2018 - $1.00
This park no longer takes short term travelers. They now take only long term tenants. - ramblin' vagabonds
May 2016 - $25.00
This is a mobile home park with a few spots for RVs. Mainly older units that are in need of repair. The roads were paved. Our spot was level. The first spot he wanted to put us in was very muddy and not level, so he did move us. This spot was grass with some gravel in the muddy spots. He does charge by the day, not night . So 4 nights is 5 days, you pay for 5 days. No bath house, you must be self-contained. The park is quiet and no one bothers you. - esta34950
Jul 2018 - $30.00
We have been to Reidsville Lake several times over the last 18 years. It WAS a nice campground until the Reidsville city council decided to cut funding. According to one source at the park they cut the budget by 60% while they decide whether to keep it and give it a good facelift, or sell it. The park itself is nice, wooded, generally good sites, most with full hook-ups, with a boat ramp, docks, and picnic shelters nearby. The roads are dirt/gravel and are not well maintained - creating a washboard effect, but the main roads of the park are paved. The restrooms/showers are "cleaned" daily, but the cleaners don't look over their heads, as the corners and ceiling have large cobwebs and spiders. The electric is 50 amp but, again, they need repair. It took me over three (3) hours to be able to connect to the box, because the breakers were bad and they had to call an electrician. The campground sits on the lake and has a boat dock for campers' boats, as well as two (2) short fishing piers. There is an office, where you check in, which carries soft drinks, ice cream novelties, candy, fishing licenses, and a VERY small selection of canned and boxed foods. The staff is friendly and tries to be helpful but, many times, don't know what they are talking about and have to call the supervisor. On the other hand, they allowed us to use a picnic shelter for our camping club w/o cost, because we were camping. - eternalskeptic
Mar 2017 - $15.00
Nice quiet park on lake Reidsville. We had a lakeside site which was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful, park clean and well kept. Only downside is that the sites are not level. The site that we had was a challenge to get level and there are worse ones. Also site just barely long enough for our 37 foot motorhome. Otherwise sites are spacious and campground is easy to maneuver. Would definitely return. Our site did not have a sewer hookup. Verizon voice signal fair, no data signal at this time and no park wi-fi. - bgbassman
Nov 2016 - $18.00
We stayed at Lake Reidsville over Thanksgiving weekend 2016. We stayed in a lakeside site that was incredible. The site was fairly level. We did need every bit of our Camco Tri-Levelers to get to level though. The lake is beautiful. We watched Blue Herons fishing and spotted a couple of deer on Saturday morning. The campsite was quiet and sites were nicely spaced out. There is a burn ban in effect due to the drought so we could not have a fire. Some folks nearby chose to ignore that ban even after at least one warning from the office. Those neighbors were the only downside of the weekend. We will absolutely be back in the spring! - BeagleDad
May 2019 - $60.00
Very good, No internet from my site but who needs it if they're camping??? Costs about $60 per night on holidays and about $40 per night otherwise. - SomeRandomCamper
Sep 2016 - $65.00
Entrance road to campground is rough. Sites are clean and fairly level. Most campers are permanent or year round residence. If you are looking for a quiet setting it's OK. If you have a children not worth the cost. The 2 pools are clean but old and need new lining. For the price we definitely will not be returning. This campground has the setting to be a great campground, but the owners don't seem to care to improve it. If you are looking for primitive camping, they have lots of space for that. - S-Wright
Jul 2016 - $60.00
We had the pleasure of staying at this campground over the July 4th weekend! Such a wonderful experience! Everyone was so friendly and helpful during our stay! Our air conditoner broke on our camper and the camp staff lent us fans to make our days more "cool"! The pools were both maintained and very clean! Fireworks added to the fun time over the lake:) The campground was very quiet and the bathhouses and grounds were excellently kept! We will certainly return for another stay and look forward to resting and relaxing around the lake and pool! So much more to explore! Highly recommend! - Nicole Long
Jan 2019 - $42.00
First camper to the facility. Watched from vacant to full occupancy in 4 months. Attentive off-site owners, with on-site caretakers this new park is clean and orderly. While construction and improvements are underway, The park is still quiet and attractive. - WayneBrown
Feb 2016 - $1.00
I stay at this nice, quiet and well maintain RV park for about three months.
The owner was super nice and I will be coming back to stay there again.
She keep up the park, very clean and one of the thing I really like about staying there was that she made sure the campers who had pets cleaned up the waste. - Renea16
Jun 2018 - $35.00
The owner of this campground has anger management issues. He made the stay uncomfortable and was rude to us. We left early and paid extra fees for many things. Too many rules, only allows 4 adults per stay and we have a 10 person camper. This owner talked down to us and made us feel so uncomfortable, we felt as though we had to walk on eggshells and stay inside our camper. Very sad visit. - Lisa ezell
Jul 2017 - $28.00
I really enjoyed Dan River Campground, where I stayed four nights in mid-July. Glen and Charlotte are conscientious hosts, and the property is well maintained. I stayed in an area (site 22) that had more the feel of a state park than an RV park - except with strong wifi, and a very pleasant pool. An unexpected bonus was tube-float on the Dan River, and getting picked up at my site! In my view, Dan River Campground is also a good value (ie, under $30). I hope this review is helpful. - Gail H
Oct 2016 - $30.00
My experience at Camp Hill was perfect. The park is a very well kept park, clean and woodsy. Perfect setting.
It is obvious that the owner is on his game with keeping the park clean.
I look forward to staying there again on my way north soon.
The trails along the river were really beautiful.
This campground is easily on of my favorite for quiet and safe camping. My dog loved it too! :) :) - Marneen
Jul 2019 - $35.00
Decent CG; it worked for us for an overnight stay on our trip home. The owner was pleasant and worked with us on our arrival. CG is fairly far off of I-85, but the countryside is picturesque. I had a little trouble with the water connection (leaked but worked; perhaps that was just our site). All other utilities worked fine. Basically no showers - stalls with a single outlet overhead with a rope on it, and the pit toilets were labeled Bulls and Heifers. Sites are pretty close together. Looked like many permanent residents. - RobertN
Oct 2017 - $17.00
This is a great small camp ground that I was very lucky to find. I stayed here for a month while I was looking for a new house (We moved from FL to NC) and we were charged $500 for 30 days for a full hook up site. The owners were very friendly and the location was beautiful. Plenty of space to pull my 31' Travel Trailer thru. They were running low on sites with full hook ups as it seems not all the sites have sewage hook ups but the location I had was great. Call and speak with the management and reserve your spot before you get there to ensure you have full hook ups! - ABNChemo
Apr 2017 - $30.00
