This is a beautiful RV park. The owners are local & very hands-on with every aspect of managing the park. Sites are full hook-up. The pool area & laundry are a kept very clean. The roads are all paved. There is a marina with slips & a boat storage area. There is a small, clean, sandy beach area on the sound. There is a long fishing pier with a well maintained cleaning area. The park has a very clean & enclosed dog park area. It located a short distance to the Cape Lookout Ferry. There is a star & two small, very good restaurants also close by & quickly reached by golf cart or bikes. Being from North Carolina, we were very excited to stay so close to the National Seashore at Cape Lookout. The park is very quiet & has a large group of permanent sites that are very well maintained by the owners. Unlike some RV parks in the area, the owners have a fairly strict code that permanent site leasers follow which makes this park definitely stand out in appearance & cleanliness. We enjoyed our stay & elected to lease a permanent site. We camped at Harkers Island RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Primarily for permanent weekenders with boats. Way overpriced. Not a good selection for overnighters. We camped at Harkers Island RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a fabulous location, right on the water, with beautiful views. and the new facility is really very nice - just opened with new fencing, pool, facilities. And the folks were very friendly. Harkers Island is pretty far off the beaten path ... not congested, not touristy, nice quiet roads for bike riding. My criticism is that this RV park is not yet oriented toward transient visitors .... it is really set up for seasonal use and permanent structures like park models. Our "campsite" was hard ground - grass/sand with a significant amount of broken glass mixed in ...maybe construction debris? There was a crushed rock pad for parking the car, but the RV parking area was completely undeveloped. The sites were not angled and it was hard to maneuver around workers vehicles, transformers, adjacent park models, etc. No picnic tables, no trash pickup, no wifi, the cable did not work, no paperwork of any kind. Again ....it was lovely and would be great for a longer stay, but really not set up for transients. And the price of $75 was too high for value received. We camped at Harkers Island RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this park for like three nights. This is a brand new RV park and it's still a work in progress. The park is mostly done. There is a small pool and a bathhouse next to the pool. A second bathhouse and laundry facility are not quite done. There are a variety of sites in the park. All are grass with a crushed rock pad for the car. Hook ups are in and include cable TV. The only problem for transient visitors is that the owner has decided to sell yearly leases on his nicest sites. These are sites that are on bay, or overlook a salt water marsh which borders the park. A majority of these sites have new leased and owners are building permanent structures and modifying their travel trailers or fifth wheels to be permanent structures. We were in one of the sites over looking the marsh that was not yet leased and it was very nice. The owner says he plans to keep a number of the interior sites available for short term rentals. Maybe the best feature is that the park contains a boat basin with a boat ramp and moorage. A number of the permanent residents are keeping their boats there. We thought the 75.00 price was a little steep for what we got. Harkers Island is close to Beaufort, NC and the ferry service to Cape Lookout and Shackleford Banks is only a couple miles from the park. We camped at Harkers Island RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Harker's Island RV Resort is a new RV Resort and camping experience on the Crystal Coast of North Carolina. The Resort offers overnight, monthly, and permanent, spacious camp sites on one of the most beautiful islands this side of heaven! There are no better water front or water view campsites on the Atlantic Coast. Harker's Island is the most beautiful 2.2 square mile islands, completely surrounded by crystal coast waters, right across the waterway from Cape Lookout and the Shackleford Banks of North Carolina. Great restaurants, sightseeing, and awesome Island Life. See you soon at Harker's Island RV Resort!!! We camped at Harkers Island RV Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.
