4 RV Parks near New Salem, North Dakota
Jul 2011 - $10.00
A typical city park with some swing sets and a playground. We came up here to play in a softball tourney and the ball diamonds are close by. I enjoyed my stay for a couple of days. It was nice to get away and enjoy the slower life in a smaller town. - redlight
Jul 2017 - $25.00
Small city park, sites are very close, front part of the park is fairly attractive; not so much back where most of the rv sites are located. It appears that many spots are occupied by workers but it was very quiet at night, except for trains passing through a couple of times. This is not really a park where you would want to spend a lot of time, but fine for an overnight stop. - Katy29
Jul 2016 - $18.00
Small local rv campground, close to railroad and highway (count on some noise). Basic, tight gravel rv sites, but the park has a large lawn, covered picnic areas and nice campground hosts. Basic, affordable. - rushin river
Jul 2016 - $20.00
Small county/city park that was satisfactory parking for one nite while traveling across I94. Grass surface with majority of campers permanent. Host very friendly. Definitely okay for one nite but would have preferred a free Walmart and saved myself 20.00. Water and electricity at site. Did' use bathroom. - smitty12
Aug 2017 - $22.00
Big, wide open park. Much dry camping but several (unknown) number of sites with electric. On a hillside above a pretty man-made lake, the park can be very windy at times. Sites are huge; ours was a pull-through. Potable water faucets here and there; we don't recall any at sites. Good beach & swimming. Quiet 'No Wake' Lake Harmon is popular with paddlers. Some miles north of Mandan so stock up in town. We would certainly stay here again. - rmlarson
