Nice CG on Lake Sacajawea but only tents are on the water. We were in the full hookup loop, Pintail. 50 amp electric and sewer were near the coach but the water was away quite a bit. We had about 100' of hose out. Very long, level site. We were able to get satellite with a little maneuvering. Other sites looked better for satellite reception. Table and fire pit. East maneuvering for big rigs. AT&T no service but this is one of the few state campgrounds that has Wifi and it's not too bad. Only gave our site a 4 stars because it was muddy. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you play golf, don't miss the The Links of North Dakota about 15 miles east. Rated as one of the best and it is beautiful and reasonable and playable. In addition to the 30/nite charge, there is a convenient fee for signing up online plus a $7.00 fee per day for tow car.

Overall Rating:

We stayed in rustic cabins , which was fine but the restrooms were disgusting. They are out houses basically that has no lighting at night. These out houses are also for everyone who spends the day at the little to nothing beach. They were never cleaned the week we we stayed. There are also oilfield people showing up late at night playing music loudly and not ONCE did the park personnel check this out. When we had a bonfire enjoying and laughing with our family we were told we had to shut down at 10. Really, all the while vehicles were showing up after 10 drinking and playing loud music at the beach. Where were the Rangers when this was going on?? If you plan on fishing, you better but your in town, apparently the store does not sell. This is a great fishing lake , why wouldn't the park offer bait for sale? We were very disappointed, needless to say, we will not be back. Go to another park for great fishing, camping, and clean restrooms. At least there, you can have a fire after 10. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Cabin.

Overall Rating:

This is another lovely ND State Park. We had a pull through full hook up site that was not level side to side but it was not terrible. Utilities were well placed and adequate. Site was dirt and it had been raining so it was a little messy. Staff was friendly. For us, the cost was too expensive with a site fee, $9 reservation fee, and $7 per day day use fee or the purchase of the annual park pass for $35 . The annual park fee is great for those who frequent ND state parks but the fees are high for those staying a day or two. This state park is located on a big lake and is located about 20 miles from Williston. No laundry facilities so one had to go into Williston for that. All in all we liked staying here and would return even though it is expensive. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Truck Camper.

This is a nice state park. It was during the week so the park was not busy. Had a pull in site with water and electric. There is an entry fee for all ND state parks. If you are staying for multiple days or in multiple parks, the annual sticker is the best value. I would stay again. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

The park itself is "out there" meaning it's a hike getting there. There was a major detour due to road construction in the Williston area leading to a "round about" way to the park. The park itself is very nice. Spacious, quiet, and very clean. 3 enjoyable days and nights. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. Wide spaces and lots of grass. We were surprised to have to buy an annual Membership to the State Parks of ND for $25.00 in order to stay. There was no veteran's discount. Most states at least recognize veterans: especially disabled ones. So for that reason I cannot recommend staying here. It was quite out of the way for us and once we arrived and discovered the excessive fee it would have been equally expensive to drive back to civilization to a private park. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

What a wonderful campground. Originally planned to stay 4 days, ended up staying 2 weeks. Sites are mixed some are full hook-up most are W/E and others are E only. We originally were in a W/E site 31 but moved to a full hook-up. The site was nice with trees and shade, but we were forced to move because of spiders. I think they are in the trees. The Plover loop is in the open and has full hookups. The issue with the W/E sites and some of the full hookup sites is that the water can be over 50ft away. Don't believe the website. The electrical connections are all in the right spot it's the water you need to worry about and that info is not correct for a lot of sites. Sewer connection is high, so drainage is slow. There is only one bathroom with pit toilets scattered around. The campground host was wonderful and friendly as were the rangers. On the weekends there is a ranger talk on different subjects and on Sunday there is a program for JR explorer s. There is a lot of road construction on 1804 which I recommend to avoid. Take HWY 2. The only big downside is that there are no laundry facilities and because of construction it takes >45 min to get into town. Wi-Fi is provided free from a 3rd party and worked well for us. The $30 is for full hookup, its 25 for W/E. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fantastic option when travelling West. The park is actually located in Epping, ND. If you need an over night stay this is perfect. If you are looking for a destination, this park would also be great. The sites provide enough space for even the largest units. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at several state parks throughout our trip, but this one was the best we have been in. It was a pleasant surprise because of the beauty of the area and the layout of the park. Our space was big and level and so private. We had trees all around and the peacefulness was wonderful. What a joy our 3 nights there were. The staff couldn't have been more courteous and helpful. We have stayed at 90+ RV parks and never once has it been a State park. Either they couldn't accommodate large rigs, no full hook ups or vault-only toilets had us looking elsewhere. What a totally wonderful surprise. The park is beautiful and the campgrounds are thoughtfully laid out. We stayed in the Plover loop. More open and sunny than the other loops and also a longer walk to the restrooms. The Plover loop sites are carved out of the sides of the road and are long, level, spacious and pull through. The sites are hard pack dirt. Some have views of the lake. The utilities worked great, the water pressure was fine and the satellite reception was prefect. The restrooms are as nice as any private RV park. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

Was a very nice stay with full hookups. No view of lake but quiet during the week. Did get very crowded on weekends. There are showers and restrooms but we were so far away from them, we didn't even check them out. Nice marina and everyone friendly. We stayed 4 nights. They had great WiFi in campground which really surprised and delighted me. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

What a nice state park! We came for two nights and stayed two weeks. It's strange driving to the park as you pass many oil rigs but once you are in the park you forget they exist. It's quiet during the week but busy on weekends. Right on the Missouri river with a nice marina and boat ramp. The RV sites aren't on the river but some sites have "glimpses." Many tent sites are on the river and have a beautiful view. The interior roads are narrow due to trees close to the road and overhanging limbs which we snagged at times. The sites are dirt/gravel with plenty of space between sites. Most of the sites have shade with overhanging branches that could use a trim. The Plover loop, which has full hook ups, is the exception. They have no mature trees and are in full sun. Most sites are water and electric and the water is shared and a long distance from the site. At one point, we had three RVs sharing one water spigot; however, we did not notice any effect on the pressure. Hands down the best WII FI we've had in forever!! Kudos! No Directv in the three sites we occupied but the Plover loop should have no issues. Verizon was barely 3g and 1 bar with our extender otherwise there was no coverage. Bathrooms/showers are utilitarian and so so clean. They obviously are not cleaned every day as there are lots of small dead bugs. Be prepared for ants, flies and spiders that can build webs literally overnight. We would stay here again. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Motorhome.

We had a nice large site with lake view. Fire pit with a wood car came around to sell wood. Sites were sunny with some shade. Water and electric available but only electric available when we came. Sites are cheap and you can't beat the view from the site we were in. Loved the park and there was a wifi hot spot where they had great fast reception. Only stopped for an over nighter but would love to go back for a longer visit. We camped at Lewis & Clark State Park in a Travel Trailer.
