Price is in US currency. Right on the Bay of Fundy, with great walking trails. Sites were very spacious, although mostly open. The staff and campers were very friendly. The area was a little buggy and we did not some leveling blocks. There was a WiFi hotspot at the office. Electric and water site, no sewer. Much quicker to go through Truro than Parrsboro. We camped at Five Islands Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: August, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Price is in Canadian dollars, includes campsite fee of $35.60 and $9 reservation fee. Campground is on a hill that overlooks Minas Basin, beautiful to watch the Fundy tide changes. 20/30 Amp power and water (low 20 PSI). One dump site at the campground exit. Firewood and ice available at office. WiFi is mentioned at office but doesn't exist in the campground. Verizon cell service was 3 bar/4G. No cable, 2 OTA TV channels. We camped at Five Islands Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Senior discount for four nights. Site was pull through, gravel, mostly level, water and electric with 30 amp. Verizon cell and internet reception was weak. DishTV reception was good. The park was very quiet at night. Our site had a very good sunset view of the bay. This park is a good location for observing the Fundy Tides. The park is about a 45 minute drive from major highways. The entrance road is newly paved, but does have low branches. The campground road is gravel and hilly, but we easily maneuvered with our 33' motorhome and toad. The park has 16 electric (30amp)/water sites, and has plans to add electric to additional sites. We would stay here again. We camped at Five Islands Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

At the time of the writing of this review the park is undergoing the final stage (hopefully) of a 2-year re-development. Unfortunately, the planned addition of EW sites was one of the victims of recent provincial budget cuts.

This is a lovely Provincial campground and staff do an excellent job of maintaining the grounds and keeping the washrooms very clean. The entry road into the campground has been re-surfaced, so unlike many provincial parks, it is a smooth drive in. With the exception of the road to the day use area, the interior roads are gravel and in good condition. Sites in loop B (#45-84) tend to be on the smaller side and best for Class B, C, popups and tents. Loop A & C will be able to accommodate larger rigs. All sites are unserviced but there are pit toilets and water spigots throughout the campground. As well, there is a washroom with free hot water showers, flush toilets, and electric outlets. All sites include a picnic table and firepit. Firewood ($) and ice ($) are available. There is cell phone coverage throughout the park for those with Aliant (Bell), but apparently Rogers customers do not have coverage. Supposedly there is free WiFi at the office but it was not operational during our stay.

There are three trails within the park as well as great clam digging on the shore in the day use area. There is a dump station, however, because of the type of fitting at the end of the hose, black tank flushes are not possible. We camped at Five Islands Provincial Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip: bring boots, a pail, and a clam fork, and go clam digging at low tide. Then enjoy fresh steamed clams at your campsite.

There are possibilities to get sites with limited water view. Has nice surroundings but sites are a little rough but should not scare you away. We camped at Five Islands Provincial Park in a Motorhome.

Nice basic provincial park. The access to the Bay of Fundy tidal flats is the big attraction. Recent renovations on the top half now provide better sites for RV's than in the past. We camped at Five Islands Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer.
