Oct 2018 - $65.00
The park was very crowded during our visit, but it was a Friday night and they had special activities planned that drew a large number of campers. This park is spacious and clean, with easy access. As with all KOA's, the price is somewhat expensive (even with my KOA membership), but you get what you pay for. The facilities are very nice, with lots of things to do (especially if you have small children). Both the Wifi and TV service were good. Our site was basically level but could have used some more gravel (mud). Unfortunately, we had some loud neighbors that were partying until nearly midnight - it would have been nice if someone from the park's office had monitored this and asked them to tone it down, but no one did. The park's location is near the interstate. - farmboy25
Aug 2018 - $60.00
50 amp, fire ring, patio w/table, gravel site, paved roads, kind of tight, not all sites are level, great landscaping, good maintenance, Dish satellite iffy due to trees, good digital air, cable ($), free Wifi (slow & unreliable), best park we've been in (heated pool, mini-golf, nice playground, pavillion w/weekend movies, fishing pond w/boats ($), bikes ($), outdoor kitchen, gazebos w/nice plantings around them, cafe, hiking trails, horse shoes), but noise from hwy and airport - Hands For Him
Jul 2018 - $55.00
This is an older KOA with narrow roads and tight maneuvering for Big Rigs. The sites are close together and getting around parked vehicles is an issue (we observed a collision of a 5th wheel and a parked car). Appears to be lots of sponsored activities for kids. The WiFi was poor and I did have to ask another camper to move their car so we could exit. - Stealth01

It was Memorial day weekend and we needed a campsite for a 37' MH Sunday night, the owner had one opening and saved it for us. The site was a bit sloped so we could not open our slide-out but it was still much better than where we were previously. The campground is very nice, lots of trees and a small lake. There were lots of permanent residents but no complaints. We literally "rolled" out of bed in the morning and headed to our next destination. - JimW_AZ

We camp here every year to attend the Southern Ohio Forge & Anvil (SOFA) Blacksmith convention. This is a large county fairground with an active horse training facility and trotter track. It's a historic property and fairly well maintained. Camping with electric-only service is offered in the front and back fields. The front area has some road noise, the back section is quieter. Both areas are big rig accessible. A few paved sites with shared water connections are also adjacent to the grandstand, but those spots are not offered through the SOFA conference. Camping during SOFA is quite crowded. Shared electric service for 4 sites is provided on poles placed throughout open grassy areas, so everybody crams around the poles and you're right on top of each other. Tent campers also take up precious electric sites making the front area a real jumble, even though there's plenty of other fields to set up a tent. If you need electric service, there's more room to spread out in the back section than in the front. For a big gathering like SOFA, we're glad to have camping provided, even if it's a tight squeeze. And plan to come early if you want an electric site at SOFA-most spots are filled by noon on Friday! - Flying Mantis

Sites narrow and close. Interior roads narrow! Long way off of I-70 - not really conducive for an overnighter! No wifi. No TV. Very clean. Nicely groomed. Lots of seasonals with well maintained sites. - CSM Carolyn
Sep 2017 - $54.00
This out-of-the-way campground is way over-priced compared to most parks in America for what you receive. The price quoted was a weekly rate with discount. For that, we got a gravel site with concrete patio pull thru, picnic table and fire ring. What we did not get was any cable TV, low water pressure, and very poor wifi (owner hot spot) along with gravelly, uneven roads that were very tight for a 42 foot 5th wheel. Most of the people staying here were seasonal with only a handful of overnight sites available. This part of Ohio (near Dayton) has a lack of nice RV parks in convenient areas. - DIXIEDUALLY2013
Jun 2017 - $50.00
Arrowhead Campground is exceptionally clean and beautiful. It is well-maintained by the owners who are personally involved in the upkeep and maintenance. I don't think anyone can find a campground as meticulous as Arrowhead. Our only negative as reflected by the rating I gave as being "Satisfactory" is that if you are looking for a one-night, in-and-out type of campground while traveling on I-70, this is not the place. We passed by other campgrounds which were much closer to the highway on our 10 mile journey to find Arrowhead. It's not even in the same county as the others, so don't be fooled by the New Paris designation for it's locale. However, I'm very glad we found it and stayed overnight. It's a superior, but pricey, campground for the casual traveler. - rvrose

We wanted to do one last weekend before our motorhome went in for service and a family member left the country for a military obligation. We booked Natural Springs Resort as we have been there a couple of times prior. We were so disappointed that we won't ever be back. The place is dated and it is obvious they are not putting any money into the common structures of the campground. The bathrooms and shower stalls were always grungy and one without toilet paper. I never saw them being attended to and didn't notice a change all weekend. The hookups are oddly layed out and the spots are tight....really tight. That didn't stop the people directly behind us and a couple of rows back from walking through our campsite, even while we were sitting out under the awning. They were kind enough to try to engage in conversation though. I agree with the last poster, this is a party place with cornhole bags incessantly banging against the boards and kids running amok all hours of the day and night with little to no respect for their fellow campers. I try to not deduct points from a campground based on the behavior of the campers, but there was no effort from any "staff" to make anyone adhere to any rules set forth in the pamphlet. I have never felt scared to leave stuff out in a campground before, but we did at this place. Now if you were a seasonal, those spots are spacious with paved pads and green grass. This place seems to cater to the seasonal camper and the day use fee payers from the community nearby. It could be pretty good if they put forth the money and time to bring it up to snuff. - Godsey97
Jul 2017 - $56.00
very old, dated campground who seems to cater to the party crowd, if you are in to drinking, corn hole and parties then this is your place.. They advertise cable, wifi but don't have either. You can access a wifi hotspot at there lodge for a fee. Lake is an old quarry that is spring fed but they have done very little to make it accessible other than a small concrete dock. they advertise a pool and a small waterpark but don't state on their site that you have to pay a fee to use any of the slides at the pool. Sites are incredibly small(narrow). maybe 15' wide. utilities are not layed out well but appeared to be in working order. I had no issues other than sewer connection was old and difficult to connect to. They do offer scuba diving if you are already certified. All in All we will not be back. - cincyfirefighter
Oct 2016 - $29.00
We stayed here a couple of nights and used the coupon on their website for 40% off the second night. Nice enough park and the natural spring is interesting. The sites are relatively level gravel and most are back to back, so if nobody is in the one behind you it is an easy pull through. OTA tv was good, but Verizon was a little spotty...two bars maybe and 3G most of the time. Utilities worked well. There are several groceries and a Walmart within 5 miles. We would stay again if we are in the area. - jtl2

Aug 2013 - $25.00
Great spot for an overnight. Very friendly owner. Well taken care of grounds. Lots of open spaces and many shaded with large walnut trees. Good gravel interior roads. Most sites are grass. Very little road noise. We will camp here again. Lots of places to eat dinner and breakfast in area. - Russell and Stephen
Jun 2013 - $28.00
For an overnight stay, this small campground was excellent. It was very quiet, our site was level, we had full hook-ups with 50 Amp, sewer, and water. It's in the Passport America book so we only paid $14. The manager, Leon, was exceptionally friendly and helpful. He has three friendly Corgi dogs that love to play and beg. This campground is not listed in the Trailer Life Directory so we're glad we found it in Passport America. It would be easy to overlook it. The campground is less than a mile off I - 70 on the Indiana/Ohio line. You use the last exit in Indiana ( #156), but the road (US 40) takes you back into Ohio. - rvrose

Jul 2018 - $21.00
Long long ride from gate to Fam Camp. Very helpful hosts on site. Utilities worked well. One jack sunk into to site. This campground was build before the 45 footer, so site just barely long enough and turns are a bit tight. Also with slides very close to neighbor. Not complaining at 21 per night just commenting. Would stay again! - hug448844
Oct 2017 - $25.00
Great MWR campground. Located back by the Reserve Squadron. Peaceful, quiet and well worth it. Hosts are awesome. Extremely helpful and courteous. One of them, a retired FE, got us in to our spot without any problems. No issues with Satellite reception. Water and electricity were fine. Do yourself a huge favor. Make note of the 24 hour gate in your GPS. The north gate closes as do most gates on this base. If you don't know the base it becomes an unwelcome adventure to find your way off. - KodiTzu
Oct 2017 - $25.00
This is a beautiful FamCamp for military only. The roads are asphalt, the site are also asphalt. Grass in between each site, concrete patio and a large picnic table. We were assigned Site #13 which is a VERY tight turn into this site. The camp host couldn't be nicer and very informative. Getting to the commissary and exchange can be difficult with all the different street names and the map wasn't much help. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers, washers $1.00 dryers 50 cents. We would stay here again if back in this area. - kathiecarlson

May 2017 - $20.00
For a fairground this place is pretty good. They have some full hookups, some with electric and water, and some with only electric that are more in the center of what I would assume is the fair activity, like the midway or near the animal barns. We had water and 50-amp electric, and pulled through to take up two spots with our 45' fifth wheel and HDT. Not a problem the way they're laid out. I spoke with the ladies in the office at the grandstand the next morning and they said that taking up two spots wasn't an issue. There wasn't anyone else around, and with 600 total spots.... it's self-service, pick your spot and leave the money in an envelope. The showers are in the campground/Speed building. They were pretty awful. They looked clean and had really good water flow, but the water didn't drain so even if you shut it off when you weren't rinsing you were still standing in 2-3 inches of water. Fortunately the cement rim kept it from overflowing into the rest of the bathroom, which was fairly clean considering it's near a horse barn. We think there might be another bathhouse with showers, but with the park empty the only one open was the one closest to the horse barns, where people were pretty active with the trotters. It was fun to see them working the horses. The sites would be very close together (and are designed for much smaller trailers) if they were all full, but the only time that happens is during the fair. We had the whole area to ourselves, and it was wonderful with all the green grass and huge shade trees. Plenty of room to pick a site with or without trees, as you choose. There's no non-fair camping during the month of August. No reservations, just come on in. You can ride your bike around the fairgrounds, lots of paved roads, and of course there are the horses. Rustic accomodations, no picnic tables or fire pits, but it rained most of the time we were here anyway. We would stay here again if we're in the area. - Denise and Glenn
Jun 2011 - $15.00
Keep in mind this is a Fairground, but large area for walking or riding your bike. Grass Sites, some full hook-up, some with just electric. Close to grocery and fast food. Great Steakhouse across the street "Fairlawn Steakhouse". We stayed for a month. Eldora Speedway is maybe 30 minutes away. Dayton, Ohio is about 30 minutes away also. There is a "Kitchen Aid" store downtown where they sell mixers & small appliances. If ever around the area I would stay here again. - RVman3252

This is a pretty park in a rural setting. There were mostly long-term residents, but the park was clean and well-maintained. There are 6 long, level pull-through sites in the front of the campground for short-term campers; unhooking would not be necessary. The sites are close to the highway, so there was some road noise, but not enough to bother us. We would stay here again. - FranM
Jul 2018 - $40.00
We were greeted by a friendly person who gave us some interesting history about the campground and then escorted us to our site. It was very nice! This is such a cute little park with treed sites and a creek running through the back. The campground is older, yes, but very well kept up. A small pool was near the entrance. The restrooms were clean and well lit. The grounds were nicely kept with blooming flowers and lawn ornaments. I would not hesitate to return. Just walk around and enjoy the grounds. I took several pictures of the flowers and decorations. Quite lovely! - sssccckkk1952
Oct 2017 - $30.00
We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Dayton, OH area to see the Wright Brother's history. The park consists of predominately seasonal residents. We arrived on a Thursday night and were escorted to a pull thru site parallel to IN 227. Quite a bit of traffic all day, but it slowed at night. By Friday the park filled up with the permanent residents and they parked where ever they could around their sites. We were planning to leave early Sunday morning, but had to wait until full light, so we could navigate around the parked cars. The place was okay for the three nights we stayed. The pull thrus seemed to be reserved for transients. Some people pulled their campers in backwards due to the way the lots were set up for the grass and fire pits. One thing that concerned us were these trees everywhere that were either buckeyes or horse chestnuts whose fruit kept falling and made a loud bang when it hit someone's camper. Luckily we were not under any of these trees. I walked my dogs each morning. I had to be careful of the fallen nuts, but the park was level enough. There's a nice creek in the back of the park too. Overall it was an okay place to stay for hour purposes. - SillyAnn

Very clean, very friendly, enjoyable relaxing campground. Highly recommend Deer Ridge to all campers. Mostly has back in sites and just a couple pull thrus. We had a great pull thru for our 35' fifth wheel and 4 granddaughters ages 9-14. Reasonably priced-Passport America Discount. - ajoy922
Sep 2018 - $30.00
We spent two nights here while visiting a nearby RV dealership. We paid $4 over the standard Passport America rate for 50 amp and another $4 for a pull thru site since we were unable to get our 40' rig into one of the back-in sites due to the narrowness of the road. The roads are narrow gravel with some fairly tight turns but we were able to get around with no problem. The utilities worked fine and we were able to pull in several channels by the antenna. There is no wi-fi at the sites, only at the office. The owners were friendly and helpful. The restrooms and showers were old but very clean and well maintained. - SandyA
Jul 2018 - $45.00
Small shady park utilized by some long-term occupants. There are only 2 pull through sites, WiFi is only available at the office, and no cable. Friendly office personnel. - KE Hogan
