This is a great TT park. The bathrooms were a bit older but very clean and they have individual locks for each shower in the woman's room. There is also a pool which we did not get to visit during this trip. The lady at the front desk was so sweet. She let us know there were 2 different sites available since I let her know we needed a level site. We booked a premium site but ended up choosing a value site with no sewer since it was more level. This RV park does have quite a few RVers there. Not sure if they are full timers but they were all really nice. They have lots of activities and amenities for families. We have already booked another stay here and plan to return. We only did a overnight so we were not able to see any sites. We plan to come back for the Ohio renaissance fair. This RV park is only 10 minutes away. - RV Path chosen

This is a Thousand Trails park of yesteryear. Beautiful grounds, clubhouse at pool area, mini golf, pond, etc. We just stopped for quick overnight and got the last big rig site available (W/E only). Sites are very close together and only has 3 (out of 169) sites have 50 amp, so we were only able to run one A/C. We arrived just before 5:00 and it was 86 degrees so after we got settled, we headed to the pool to cool off. It was closed! I just can't imagine why a pool would be closed when it's still summer. Wifi is non existent and Verizon cell coverage was minimal. Overall, a nice park for an overnight but we wouldn't book an extended stay. - jodik
Jul 2018 - $1.00
Staff was nice enough to take us in a golf cart to check the site and also to see the best way to approach the site, since we have a very large unit and tow vehicle. Only got a 30 amp site and it was hot, so had to juggle both a/c units for best result. Grounds were very nice and staff very helpful. Still, mostly seasonal which makes getting a good site hard for us that travel. - DBLR

This park is from an 8.1 rating! It really isn't big rig friendly...some sites might be long enough, but not level. We didn't use facilities, but, park grounds are more dirt than gravel. Entry is terrible! Narrow driveway with drop-offs on both sides! Location and staff are only good parts of the park! If coming in from the south, do not follow GPS as it will take you through downtown Lebanon on narrow streets. - D&JV

Very nice KOA. As others have commented, this is not your typical parking lot campground. Sites are not in rows, but rather, they are angled in different directions to give some space and a feeling of more privacy. The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday night. It was typically packed on Saturday night and virtually empty on Sunday night. The only complaint that we have is that the entrance is not well marked, and it is difficult to see the entrance sign until it too late to make the turn into the campground without risking a traffic accident. Otherwise, this is one of the nicer KOA's we have stayed at. Highly recommend! - WA4TG

Be Careful! Rule signs everywhere..... 15 person tiny pool, very small sites, supposedly they have free wifi, but the only reception we ever found was about 30 feet outside the campsite. Mostly used by permanent campers who will 'report' you if you exceed the 5 mph speed limit. Good Luck. - Family_Camp Fun
Jul 2019 - $57.00
Only allow 1 vehicle per site. Wife had to work 1 day of a holiday so we needed the second vehicle. We parked in guest parking & they charged us $10 per night to park the vehicle. Our tow vehicle extended a few inches onto the grass & the lady came to our site & told me to move off the grass! Had to turn my EMS off. It kept tripping from a lack of consistent electric voltage. We will never go back! - Duane Denlinger

When we pulled in on Sunday no one was around so we went directly to our site. Found our that 30 AMP breaker was not working. Reported this to office next morning and was told it would be fixed. Left on Thursday still not working. Misinformation on website about pool and hiking trail. Pool so small they have a 15 person limit inside the fenced in area and hiking trail maybe 1/4 mile at most. The lake is no more then a small pond. would not stay there again. - Tim O

Well maintained older park. Owner was very helpful. Older park with hook ups all over the place and every site was different. Lots of long term workers here. Pretty quite overall with lots of shade. Verizon and AT&T pretty weak. 15 min drive to closest supplies. Pool was not in service at time of stay. - On the way
May 2017 - $40.00
This park has the opportunity to be a great park. Sadly the owner is rude and talks down to women. The bathrooms were nasty. Looked like they had not been cleaned in months. Large shower house but was told it was not open for the season yet. Women's shower was one small stall with no changing area. Curtain moved when anyone opened door. Any one walking by could see into the shower. Had to ask for toilet paper (was told look in other stalls). Some sites were so small that if extending your awning it will almost touched the next camper. Electrical was sketchy. Our TT plug had damage to plug from electrical provided. Some sites have above ground sewer pipes. The PVC piping sits anywhere from 1 ft to 2 ft above the ground and then the pipe is placed on blocks for 10 to 20 feet where it then connects with other sewer lines. Play ground is a joke. Broken and needing major repairs. Lodge? This was the game room? Was only opened for one day out of our week stay. The pool table and air hockey were the only ones that were usable. Ping pong had no balls, foosball had no balls, skeetball had no balls. Overall the lodge/game room was a joke. Would not recommend this CG . - rijjmom

Frontier Campground has a lot of potential and the owner is working toward making improvements. This park is tucked away in the quiet of the country and while there are no actual hiking trails within the park, it bumps up against a large wildlife area that has a public lake for fishing and trails for hiking and biking. The sites and interior roads are gravel, trees are trimmed and make for easy movement. All sites, both back-in and pull through, were naturally shaded with mature trees, but we were still able to get satellite coverage. Most sites had a picnic table, fire ring, and either a gravel or concrete patio. All sites are full hook-ups ( offers both 30 & 50 amp) and utilities were in good working order. I used the laundry room and while small (2 washers/2 dryers), it was in good working order. An added convenience is the onsite propane station. Now the "potential" part. In addition to RV sites, the park offers log cabins, a swimming pool, Clubhouse, basketball court, and a cute little playground - all of which could use some tender loving care to bring them back up to what I am sure once were great little attractions. - the Fishers

Oct 2019 - $20.00
There are 15 new 50 amp full hookup sites that we managed to snag for 4 days. There are also 3 older 30 amp full hookup sites near the new ones. This is a very large campground that has no hookup sites, 20 amp sites, and I think some new 50 amp electric only sites. There is a sign as you go in that says they are upgrading selected sites to 50 amp and full hookup but not sure if the one we stayed in was part of the upgrade. New sites are wider and longer with concrete pad and patio. We unhooked and parked our truck crossways in front of the RV. The full hookup sites really don't have any shade. The playground in the area we stayed was very small, but there was a playground. The camp store was within walking distance from our site and was pretty decent. They have hand dipped ice cream (one scoop is very large and fills a fairly large cup for $2.50). They also have ice cream bars and other camp necessities. The lake is huge; fishing is good. Lots of trails. It's hard to get a reservation for the full hookups in the summer; you have to book very early. Late fall weekdays aren't too bad. Weekends are busy as are most state parks and they do have events on the weekend. We will definitely stay here again. - Dagma
Sep 2019 - $29.00
Stayed here many times. First time as a walk up to avoid the reservation fee. Site was fairly level and long. All the sites have a great amount of room. Overall this park is average. Basically 30a electric and a pad. Water is on a shared stake, no sewage. Dumpsters are a pretty good hike. - Bob Sims
Sep 2019 - $48.00
Beautiful, clean, and quiet park. Follow signage from the interstate, not your GPS app instructions - the campground is nowhere near the rest of the park. Only â…“ of the nearly 300 sites were in use (Tuesday after Labor Day). Sites 1-35 are walk up only and you have to go back to the (closed) office to fill out the paperwork. So I used the app and cruised the campground to find a site. Most of the electric-only sites were very narrow and many had the picnic table on the back end of the site; also some (look close at the electric post) were 20amp only. So we picked a full-hookup site which was wider (although not level). For the convenience of using the app we were charged an $8 reservation fee which is completely ridiculous. To top it off, the sewer hookup was so far to the rear of the site that it was out of reach of our hose. Small swimming beach near the boat ramp and there are (unmarked) paths from the campsites but you wouldn't know it was there if you didn't walk down there. - MBAustin

Nov 2018 - $18.00
The rate quoted above is the monthly rate of $550 divided by the 30 days we stayed. We made reservations here to spend time in the area with family. The managers are very nice and accommodating and we communicated with them several times before arrival. The park itself is not very nice at all. It's mostly old mobile homes and some semi-permanent RVs (ranging from 25-year-old trailers with junk around to a half-million dollar tag axle diesel pusher). We were originally assigned to one site, but "... someone moved in to that site" before we arrived. I can only assume that it was preferable to the site where we ended up (anything would be, though). We are full-timers and I'm pretty good at backing our 36' fifth wheel with a crew cab, long bed, dual rear wheel truck into tight spaces - but this is the tightest space I've ever had to deal with. With the trailer on one side of us having a slide extended a two feet over our pad to a work van parked at the very edge of our extremely narrow space on the other, I had to rock back and forth in the narrow roadway and put the truck and trailer at almost a 90 degree able to get in... but we got it done. The tiny spaces and dumpy environment aren't the things we dislike the most, though. Directly across the fence behind us (the back of the rig is 4 - 5 feet from the fence - not counting the bike rack) is a furniture factory. The noise pollution is TERRIBLE! The low frequency droning noises I can handle, but the high frequency constant squeal and a very noisy compressor that cycles about every minute has caused me to get out my earplugs to sleep at night. We didn't see much of the other park residents, but those we did see were very nice. There aren't many RVing options in the Cincinnati area. The county parks are seasonal, have stay limitations and and have poor availability. To get something else, one has to go 45 minutes out of town and pay $40/night. - Second Chance

Stayed in full hookup site twice this year. Nice park easy to access and a great playground for the kids. We didn’t use showers or bathrooms but friends of ours did and said they were nice and very clean. I’d recommend this park. - OhioMike
Sep 2019 - $49.00
Beautiful county park with many activities. Wonderful campground - looks brand new. Concrete pads, full hook-ups, LOTS of room for our motorcoach and tow, and easy maneuverability. We were here midweek in September so not crowded. Looks like plenty of room even if it were full. No privacy between sites. Had clear sky for satellite TV. Terrific wifi connection. - Traveling Gnomes
Aug 2019 - $58.00
We have stayed at this county park twice. Entry in to the the park requires the purchase of either a day pass or annual pass. There is one loop with full hookup sites including a dozen or so pull-through sites. The sites are level and the pull-through are concrete. The park roads are paved as well. There is a small playground, a lake, and a few other amenities available at an additional costs within the park. - Stranded_In_Ohio

It was Memorial day weekend and we needed a campsite for a 37' MH Sunday night, the owner had one opening and saved it for us. The site was a bit sloped so we could not open our slide-out but it was still much better than where we were previously. The campground is very nice, lots of trees and a small lake. There were lots of permanent residents but no complaints. We literally "rolled" out of bed in the morning and headed to our next destination. - JimW_AZ
