Very peaceful and serene - especially for an off-the-freeway overnight spot. Excellent service - including providing a trash bag and recycle bag when we checked in. Feels more like a state park than a private campground. Will stay again. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Beautiful park in a residential area. Sites mostly shaded and level. Very friendly staff - they were happy to accept and hold an Amazon delivery for us. It was just a stopover for us but would be a good base for someone visiting the Cleveland area. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed for three days to visit family in Cleveland. Overall, this was a beautiful campground. Our site was long with room for our big rig and our car. However, the site was very unlevel. In other CGs, with a long site, there was usually a more level section of the site. When we asked the escort if there was a better section he said there wasn't. He suggested the very front of the site, but then our slide hit tree branches. Everyone in our row of sites had the same problems with leveling. Because of the unlevel sites, we would not return. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Easily maneuverable and accessible park. Sites not the most level, but tolerable. A few front axles off the ground. Nice pool, fishing pond and play area for kiddies. Dog friendly. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Upon check-in we had to wait 30 minutes for the escort to our site. Once at the site, the escort did not like the way I backed into it so he made some sarcastic comments to my wife. The sites are very unlevel, both side to side and front to back. They are filled with pot holes and ruts. They are a combination of gravel and dirt. One of the worst KOAs we have stayed in. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Some sites are unlevel and our site was a little unlevel front to back. This caused the front of the camper and front entry door to be higher than preferred. You could almost walk under the fifth wheel without having to duck. Otherwise the sites are fine. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Attractive park with some issues. Assigned site, 30 amp service, kept dropping voltage. From previous reviews this appears to be a trending maintenance issue. Thank goodness for Progressive EMS to protect our RV/appliances. Staff honored request to move to another site and had no further issues. Sites are close together, combination grass and gravel, many not level, with tendency to be muddy. Many seasonal, permanent residents. Campground has salt water pool, yuck. Some of the showers were smelly and not useable-needed cleaning. Trains can be heard during the night. On the plus side, staff was pleasant and accommodating. Be sure to buy some of their delicious homemade fudge! They also offer ice cream and slushies which are most refreshing during those hot summer days. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground was actually very nice, clean, well kept, friendly staff. We arrived during a constant rain storm, were escorted to our site 620. Site was rather level, needed a little tweaking, was a bit muddy, but considering it had rained for 2 days, that was expected. Otherwise, it had a couple trees which were trimmed as needed, firepit, gravel driveway, close to showers/restrooms (we didn't use) but noticed they were cleaned every morning. Location is close enough to Cleveland for a day trip, also near train and towpath south. Very close to shopping, Costco, great restaurants. Enjoyed our stay. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

As we drove into the campground, we noted how beautiful it was. Friendly staff, we were escorted to our site. That was the end of the pluses. Site was soggy, we noted just how muddy it was after unhooking. Half of the site is filled with crushed stone, area where trailer is parked is grass, thus the muddy condition. We attempted to get a discount since the area around our trailer was unmanageable. We were offered a chance to move, however this site should not have been filled in the first place. Then we had a two hour downpour. We stopped at the office to have pallets delivered since they previously had been offered. Another request for a discount. When we left the site, no word from anyone about it. WiFi was weak, constantly dropping. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here in the past, but we will not return. Site 505 was not level. The 50 amp electric kept failing, so we had to use 30 amp. The road to the park was flooded, but the park did not tell us. We called to get new directions, but the park never returned our call. The first site we were offered was very unlevel. The second site had so much mud that the park should have closed it; we were told that nothing else was available. We left a day early, so the daily rate ended up being $62. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

A very scenic KOA just 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland. The KOA is in a very quiet area with mature trees everywhere. The sites and roads are gravel with a picnic table and fire pit at each. The park has very good wifi service and cable at each site. With so many trees, there are only a few sites that will be satellite friendly. The park has good restrooms/showers and laundry rooms along with a nice fishing lake, pool areas, basketball courts and other playgrounds. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

The previous review about the road being closed is no longer the case. I can see where the road problem is and we still had to go around it but only a short distance and without any problem. Our only reason for staying here was to go the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and this looked like the closest place. It is about a 50 minute drive. To be fair, there was a lot of rain before our arrival and some on our first day. The ground is saturated and muddy and the gravel has ruts and puddles. Some sites have pallets placed on them so people can get in their rigs without stepping in mud. For a KOA the sites are actually decent size and not on top of each other. We lucked out with site 615 which was on an end and had a view of one of the ponds. Saw some people catching quite a few fish. Lots of grass for dog walking. Wifi was slow - I used my Verizon hotspot. Laundry is nice and reasonably priced. We did not use the restrooms so can't comment. They pick-up trash and RECYCLE at your site twice a day. I wish more parks recycled so kudos for doing that! I hope they do some road work before opening next spring. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Our stay here started off on the wrong foot from the get-go. Since April, the road is closed about a half mile from the campground, and there's no warning on the campground's website. Luckily, a Streetsboro police officer saw us when we were pulled over calling the campground for directions and gave us directions to get there (a 12-mile detour) This campground is quite busy and full most of the time we were here. Unfortunately, the utilities are not up to the level they should be for the number of campsites. we experienced multiple days of power shortages, low to no water pressure, and cable outages. The sewer pipe at our site was not threaded so we had to go out and purchase blocks to secure (which we left for the next camper). As for a KOA, this one is probably at the bottom level we've stayed at during our travels, and we would not stay here again if we were in the area. We camped at Streetsboro / Cleveland SE KOA in a Motorhome.

Close to Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Kent State is about eight miles away and there's a memorial for the 1970 shootings. Good shopping and restaurants in nearby Hudson.
