We really enjoyed our stay in this campground because we landed in the middle of goose migration and the weather was lovely. I would give the place a 9-10 except for the fact that the park with full of this little desert sticker ball things that were everywhere. This results in us picking sticks out of our rugs, shoes, dog, and clothing for weeks later. Except for that the park was wonderful. - Judy Birchland

Have been camping at this park each summer for ~20 years, but this review is only for the most recent trip. The site was a back-in site with a huge tree providing plenty of shade. It only had 30-amp service, and no sewer hookup. The site was dirt/gravel with dirt/grass around it, and included a concrete table/benches and a built-in grill. The bathrooms are cleaned daily, and has coin-operated showers in the newer building (an older facility has free showers, but is showing its age). These are only two facilities in this section of the park, but are well within walking distance of all the sites. The worst part of this campground is the prevalence of "goat head" weeds, which grow everywhere; be careful where you (and your pets) walk. In years past, the groundskeepers would spray to control them, but I guess budget cuts have forced a cutback on that. The best part of this campground is the lake, which provides great boating, fishing, water skiing, and swimming. The boat launch is public, and there is a marina next to it with many amenities including a restaurant. This campground is well off the beaten track, so traffic noise is not a big issue. There is a race track nearby which typically holds races on Saturday nights during the summer, but the races don't usually go too late into the night. - WaterBoy

We are in Area 5. Roads are new with large paved spaces. Fairly full but quiet. No sewer but there is water and electric. The lake is beautiful. Mostly retired folk this time of year. My experience with Oklahoma campgrounds are that they are hard to find. The roads aren't well marked. Very nice here. I would definitely stay here again. - billie'smom

This is one of the best laid-out RV parks I have ever been in. Wide and long sites, space for 2 vehicles if needed. VERY clean area, VERY clean restrooms. Would stay here again. - wingnut60

We have been long term in this park since Sept 16 and we love this park. the owners are great people. the park is well maintained. The expansion project they just did was quick and very needed. There are alot of pipeliners but they are really good people. Note when bad weather is in the area you can not bring your pets to the storm shelter. - waynenichols

We stayed only one night on our way home. Site was completely level. Nice grassy park. Bathrooms are beautiful and clean. Park very convenient to I-44 and US277. It was quiet. Wi-fi good. Got several over the air TV stations. Would recommend park if you are in the area. - M-F-K

Jun 2018 - $55.00
Best RV park we have used and we travel constantly, cleanest TV park ever, great management and you wont find a cleaner or better maintained park. Easy in and out, concrete drives and pad. I would give them an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10. - Mary Esther
May 2016 - $30.00
This park is never going to win any awards for its ambiance but the owners are very nice and it was acceptable for an overnight stay while traveling on I-44. The park had lots of long term residents but the sites were well kept. Most sites are gravel but the owner has poured concrete pads for some of them and the one we had was pretty level. Easy access off of the highway. - docj

Private park-located behind the owners home. 21 sites. Gravelled lots but surrounding grass areas. Great view of the hills and the trees. Super great water pressure. ***Important- storm shelter available. Approximately 15 minutes from Chickasha Oklahoma. Pet friendly. Grass area to walk pets as needed. Very nice owners. - witchey1

The only positive thing to be said is 'it was a place to park and that is stretching it.' We travel to different states for work assignments. The other 2 local campgrounds in Chickasha OK were full so this was the only option.
The entire grounds area is crushed stone, one dumpster with garbage on the ground around it. There is no office/restrooms etc. When we arrived we had to go to several campers to find out where the on site person was and when found he had an attitude 'deal with it' and then a few minutes later came to assist. He did advise us of the tornado shelter (looks like an empty tractor trailer with 2 roof fans buried in a hole/mound in the ground with stepping stones up the mound- I am guessing its a ladder to get inside-not great for bad hip and a service dog). There are free roaming dogs that belong in the park. Payment is an honor system- envelopes and locked box. Advertises on envelopes for cash/check/online (which is not available). - witchey1

We only stayed a few days but would've stayed longer if we had time. Loved having water, electric, sewer, and WIFI! The owner was laid back and friendly. Being right down the road from the Ralph's Resort boat ramp was convenient. - MorrisM
