3 RV Parks near Beaver, Oklahoma
Mar 2018 - $20.00
We picked this park because -- Dunes. Were there any signs showing how to get from the RV spaces to the Dunes? Did we find a way without getting wet crossing the creek? No. There was no explanation to educate re: this geological feature anywhere we could find. After I managed to reach the ranger on his cell phone to discover if reservations were available (no, 1st come/1st served); I saw a sign indicating reservations could be accomplished on this park's facebook page. I don't do facebook so how could I do that? Also, there are only six rv spaces. Perhaps elsewhere along the dunes there's another campground but we didn't see any sign. The water coming out of the hose is yellow-brown. So we used a hose filter plus a pitcher filter inside the trailer. - Weelyrd

We stayed one night, this state park offers very little. Bathrooms were disgusting, bugs everywhere, and for a state park the rate is high. The spaces are gravel and somewhat level. We will not go back. - Minden Mike
Oct 2009 - $18.00
There are two sites some distance from each other; one paved and the other gravel. For a first time at the park, I got confused about where the RV parks were and didn't know that there are two sites. After doing a hard turnaround at the picnic area, I called the park and got directions. The paved area is north of the unpaved. Pads are concrete, level with plenty of space. Access is easy. No Wi-Fi. Good cell phone. Staff friendly. Very quiet. Some locals seem to drive through the park at night but the people of Beaver OK are very friendly. Voltage was good and stable. Not at all busy at in the fall. No bugs. - NM Full Timer

Used this as an overnight on our way home. Not a destination, but after driving through New Mexico and the panhandle of Oklahoma, I needed a place to stay. Owners used some land next to their home to put in 14 spots for the influx of workers on wind farms. There is solid power (30 & 50a), good clean water and sewer hookups. Rusty, the owner is super nice, even offering their basement in case of severe weather. There is a 2 unit clean shower house, 2 each washer and dryer (free!) on property too. I will use this place again on trips through the panhandle, it's like a little Oasis! - fullfamily6

This was just an overnight stop for us but we really thought it was nice being out in the country off Hwy 270. Back in sites on grass, & we very seldom use park bath facilities. The owners very friendly & helpful. Workers lived here as well. Just a nice Mom & Pop park on their own acreage. We'd stay here again. - slawrence
