8 RV Parks near Big Cabin, Oklahoma
Oct 2018 - $30.00
Easy access right after the toll stood on I44.
No one answers phone on the weekends.
Only 10 spots, very clean and they have self check in. Excellent WiFi. Rxpensive given the level of service ($30 per night).
Impossible to sleep since there is on train with horn every hour and lots of road noise from the inter state.
Utilities are very far forward on the site. - BasilFawlty
Sep 2018 - $25.00
Still a great overnight or longer campground. No laundry or restrooms but clean, neat, long and level with excellent wifi. Great base for rte 66 travels. Truck stop near by and Cabin Diesel is on site for engine repairs. They do not do trash pick up. In the past they had trash containers at each site. They have been removed and a dumpster is located nearby site 1 for your trash. - peddy dick
Jun 2018 - $35.00
This is one of our favorite overnight stops when we head east from Arizona. This last stop was our second time. It is a very simple RV park but extremely clean, flat, pull thru's, and full hook ups. The view is amazing of the cattle fields and if you need any work done to your motor-home engine it is right there. - Zoey1
Jun 2017 - $10.00
Well if you need an over nighter this is it. Only four sites for over night they have 16 but most are Full time workers. Over nighter. Not really bad and for $10 not bad. I'd stop again. For a over nighter. - JustDon
Apr 2017 - $20.00
Close to Vinita, easy to get to. Only a few spots for overnight, very old and in need of upgrades. - BobDiane
Sep 2018 - $42.00
clean campground level lots nice and quiet. no cable good wifi. you will need an extension cord if you back in. Office does have extra cords if needed. would stay again. - STLCamper
Jun 2018 - $42.00
This is our second trip to this park. The views are unreal, with water access. Sites are level gravel with grass in between. There's a large green area in the middle for kids and pets to roam. I give it a 9 instead of 10 because the hookups are on the opposite side (unless you're a class A pulling in front first). On our first try our 20 ft sewer hose wouldn't reach and we had to move the camper. Our 25 ft tv cable didn't reach. The office does offer a longer power cord if needed. We had a severe storm and used the storm shelter. Is great. Bath house is clean and nice. Clean coin operated laundry. Fantastic decks overlooking water with picnic tables. Kids loved fishing right at the water. Also good fishing from boat slips. Kids loved swim dock. Will return each year if we can! - khogan
Mar 2018 - $30.00
Had a site overlooking Grand Lake, beautiful view. Sites are gravel, roads in & out are asphalt. Had some issues connecting to both water and power. Had to run extra extension under the trailer and towards the front of the site to reach the power connection. Not a huge issue. Park was full, service by the staff was good, didn't use the bathhouse. Property has a boat dock which we have used in past for our jet ski, but not this time. - drw-cpa
Sep 2015 - $40.00
I went by the last review in 2010. Bad mistake. We spent 1 month here due to $$. I couldn't find anyone to pay for 5 days. Their sites are mostly 30 amp, with a few 50 amp. Full hookups behind the trailers, no sewer in the wooded area. No dump station. They tell people to use an empty lot that has sewer to dump at--which has no water at it to rinse with. I had to put in a number for the site. It's just a huge grassy area with oddly numbered numbers to hook up to. I never did know what our site number was. 3 dogs roam the park & are in their clubhouse on the furniture, tables daily. They haven't had baths in forever & the place reeks. There are no firepits-not even in the tent areas. Picnic tables are broken, picnic area has no tables, beach is overgrown & gone, shoreline is slimy, their "cabins" are nothing but run down old trailers. It looks like a trailer park when you first enter it. Mostly members stay there. I only met 3 other people there not members. Labor day (Monday), they shut off the lights at night as they stated no one was there anymore so they wanted to conserve. The place is pretty, but needing a lot of TLC. A lot! The pool was kept clean, grounds are too, but very run down otherwise. Trailers are a major eye sore. There is nothing around at all. Their online brochure is from 15 years ago. Even the playground is cluttered with broken paddle boats, climbing toys, etc. We also had to move our rv due to bag worms dripping brown all over our rv. Others who came in behind us moved asap too once they saw that mess. Nature can't be controlled, but spraying would have helped with this problem. We would never stay here again. - happy2013camper
Jul 2010 - $10.00
Easy access to this park. A very plain park. You park in the grass, no pads. Not much to do here at the park or around town, unless you have a boat. I don't think we would stay here or in the area again. Good power and we could use our Dish, Verizon phone and aircard. They do have WiFi in the club house. - Awesome Navigator
Jun 2010 - $32.00
This resort is on one of the coves of Grand Lake of the Cherokees. We came here with my parents for a jet-ski vacation. The resort does have a fishing dock as well as a ramp for boats/jet-skis. They also have four slips for boats (free if you are a guest at the resort). We stayed in a section that only had water/electric (30 amp) hook up, but was fine for us. Plenty of shade trees in this section with large sites. These sites were closer to the water as well. They do have about 20 or so pull-through sites with 50amp service. The staff was very friendly. - itsky
Sep 2016 - $20.00
Found this via GPS and reached owner by phone to reserve a spot. The park is remote, it was late and we just decided to tough it out and stay after finding this. Not even a building for restrooms; the only residents there were those who might not have had anyplace else to go. Park has a 'For Sale' sign and apparently hasn't had any maintenance or grounds-keeping for several years. We used our own water supply as what came out of the tap at the campsite smelled and looked very bad. - cmclark
Jun 2017 - $20.00
Many of the loops were closed due to flooding when we were there. Had a paved site close to the lake, but it wasn't level. Only one set of wheels on the ground after leveling. Sites were all back-in and had no water hookups, although there was a spigot across the road where we could fill our tanks before parking. Our friends camped across the road and their site was right next to another trailer with several family members who came in for the day. There were a lot of vehicles parked on the side of the road and lots of kids running around on bikes and scooters. Not a problem for us, but they were parked in the grass, set up the kiddie pool and a tent on their site and otherwise spread out toward our friend's site. The park ranger drove by several times without stopping, so we assume there is no vehicle/site limit. It was a nice park, but nothing to write home about. Wouldn't plan another trip here. - Safetylady01
Aug 2016 - $10.00
This is an older COE campground that has its good and bad points. The good: most sites are well-spaced and you have plenty of room to spread out. The bad: the pads are rather narrow and there is not much paved area when you walk out of your camper door. If you want a water site, come early in the week as they are not reservable. No sewer sites, only dump station. The reservable sites are all on the interior of the campground loop. Sites in the non-electric loop could use some TLC. They are paved, but the pavement is breaking up badly on some of them. Cell service (AT&T), Verizon MiFi and Dish TV worked well at this campground. - Bobbi1948
Jul 2018 - $35.00
If you are looking for a quiet place with no distractions, this is the place. That's about all it has to offer. We had a 40' fifth wheel and had a rough time getting it into our spot. Not very level, had to use blocks, so bring plenty. No internet. Owner was very particular where you parked, AND which direction you drove getting in and out of the park. Oh and you had to open a gate to get in and out of the park (kind of unhandy). Prices were a bit high for the value of stay. - glw1973
Jun 2018 - $35.00
This place is all about peace and quiet, and it really is right on the lakeshore. We enjoyed sitting in the shade of a tree, looking at the lake and listening to the many birds singing. The park is older and kind of rustic, but it has what you need. We had 50 amp full hookups and a space long enough for our 40-foot MH. Owners are super people and know the area well. Any of the several resort towns in the area are a short drive away, but you feel really secluded in the park. Verizon cell and internet worked. If we are back in the area, we will definitely stay here. - JA1800
Oct 2017 - $30.00
This park is a real gem. It is advertised as an "over 50" campground, but grandkids' visits are welcomed. The owners are polite, gregarious and helpful. The campground has excellent water, and is situated on the shore of Grand Lake of the Cherokees. Full service and well maintained. We will come back to this park. - jamesboardman
Sep 2018 - $30.00
Excellent park - fairly new! They have a great dog park - I think it's the only RV park in the area with a dog park. They have a nice clubhouse and pool and the showers and laundry are spotless! The sites are easy to navigate and everything seems to work well. The wifi is a little weak but we didn't use it much during the trip. The people are awesome!! Helpful and responsive - they make your visit even more special. Good value and we will come back! - EllieMae Erskine
Jun 2018 - $33.00
This park was a wonderful RV park. It was very clean, quiet and easy in and easy out. Park help was extremely helpful for all our request. Continental breakfast was simple but good. Dog park, pool, cement pads, grassy area at each site. Fire rings have recently been added at each site. Great place for spring and fall camping. Only drawback was lack of shade trees. They have been planted - just need to grow! We will be back. - User3253
Mar 2018 - $24.00
I have traveled all over. This is one of the best places I've stayed at. It's not right by the lake but very close to the Marina. The staff are very friendly, the area is kept up well. All the drives are cement. I stayed here 4 to 5 times in 2017. A great place to bring your camper, your boat and is close to the casino or night clubs during the summer months. - Stingme
