Huge parking lot at Lloyd Noble Center. Electrical plug only. We were the only RV in the lot, and it would be great for a football weekend if you can get in. No water spigots anywhere to fill water tank. It is great if you are visiting OU as long as you can go several days on one water tank. We stayed for two days. - Alicenpete

This park is mainly a football tailgating RV park run by the university. It is located on the parking lot to the Lloyd Nobel Center. All sites are level with good electric. We were the only RV on site but we can well imagine how lively this place can be during football games. They have no facilities for dumping nor potable water. - timbo1

Just a parking lot but had good electric and water. Used this park to visit friend so was very covenant. Negative it is very open a has a road in back which I assume is a short cut between roads. The cars using this were going very fast. - roaming around

We stayed a week in the Cleveland County Fairgrounds RV Park. We were in Norman to bring a grandson to the Sooner Flight Camp. This camp you deliver the camper to the airport each morning and pickup them up in the afternoon. The RV park is close to the airport, so made a short drive for us each morning and evening. The RV Park had what we needed meaning 50 amp electric, water and sewer hookup. Location is great. This is our 2nd year the bring our grandson to the flight camp and we plan to return in 2019. Very quite at night and had zero problems with any of the hookups. Park had what we needed at a fair price. - Seemore
Jun 2017 - $25.00
No frills, but what we needed. We brought a grand son to a flight camp and this park was close to the camp. It is county owned and self service but had every thing we needed. - Seemore

I went to the park this week to check it out. I am in OKC for at least 4 months and needed a place for that time. Currently I'm at Twin fountains, but they want me to move to a perimeter site for a monthly and there is too much freeway noise for that. My wife and I arrived in our Toad. I went to the office and there was a note saying the manager was out on the property. I took what I believed was a rate sheet from the counter when the door opened and one of the rudest people I have ever met snatched the paper from my hand and said "can I help you"? I explained the situation and Donna told me about the park. When I enquired about electricity she gave me an explanation in kilowatt hours, so I simply asked what that translated to in $$$ per month. She went into a fit about not being able to know that information for so many reasons and I would have to monitor my electricity on my own...blah,blah,blah. Then she conceded that only 2 people went over last month. Hmn... did I really need that lecture? and seriously can"t you just give me an idea so I can make a rational decision? She told me I would HAVE TO FOLLOW THE RULES!! Ok...so I asked what are the rules. She picked up a sheet and shoved it into my hand and said "pretty common sense". She had to know what year my RV was, and how did it look? so I gave her that info even though I didn't see anything on the rule sheet stating the RV had to be approved by management. Then I asked if I could drive around...YES, AS LONG AS YOU FOLLOW THE RULES!! I had to know what made this park so special. Nothing. I saw rigs much older than mine, and in much worse shape. They really have no amenities to speak of. I told my wife no way am I staying here. Rude, Rude, Rude. When I got back to the RV I looked up reviews and sure enough they talk about the rude owners here. I think I'll put up with the freeway noise a bit longer at twin fountains. I'm no trailer vagabond. I am retired and own my home in California, own an airplane, Travel extensively. The host is one of the rudest people I have encountered in a host position. Period. - Oneway
May 2014 - $14.00
We stayed here for 1 week. The weekly rate is $95 and includes 27Kwh of electric per day (in the summer). Great water pressure and electric service. This is a quite park, except some light highway noise that did not disturb the peaceful feeling this park has. There are no barking dogs, screaming kids (adult only park), no disturbing neighbors partying, playing loud music, and such. The owners of the park also manage it and this makes a big difference in the park's appeal. Sites are adequately spaced and arranged so you are not looking at your neighbors sewer hose. My wife and I full time RV and will stay here again. - Living the Fulltime Dream

Check-in was a hassle, we were treated like 1st graders with Inappropriate comments about previous customers from the check-in nanny. The free slow WIFI is only available if you provide vital information about your computer which could be used to compromise your computer sensitive information anytime in the future. - Dixster

We had to hook up to the third space before we found one that had power. Couldn't tell what spots had power and were available. One spot had cones blocking it off and then a camper arrived and the trailer next to him had the spot saved. Most of the people are living there full time. Lots of dogs in the park aren't on a leash. You will need to go across the road to the Golf Club house to pay for your space. - BAUH
Apr 2016 - $22.00
They do not accept reservations so first come, first serve and that is the only bad thing about this quiet, big rig friendly, clean, on a hill, convenient to I35 rv park. Concrete sites/driveways with paved roads, small non movable table and adequate space between rvs. There are many workers and older rigs but sites are not unsightly! Pay at golf course club house across street and there is an on-site host! - RJourney
Feb 2016 - $22.00
Very hard to find the words to say about this park. We have stayed in parks that have been $60 a night. This is definitely not one of them. However let me say that for a "city park" for $22 a night this thing is pretty nice. It is a very simple little park with about 8 pull thru slots and about 12 back in slots. Fit our 44' fifth wheel just fine. Full hook-ups with water, sewer and 30/50 amp. If you are looking for one of those nationwide RV resorts with every amenity under the sun, this is not it. However, if you are looking for some place (where we parked our RV while visiting family) with water, electric and sewer you should consider this one. Restrooms and showers are not the cleanest by far; however, again its a city park not a full time RV park. There were a couple of sites that appeared to be permanent residents, however it was very quiet and did not have any issues. - charlesmtexas

Nov 2018 - $23.00
Many of the camping areas were closed due to the time of year that we stayed. We were able to choose a FHU spot by the water that had a lot of trees around and a nice view. It was very peaceful and quiet being so far away from any roads (major or otherwise) and just a few other campers. A bit of a cruise to get to anything, but that's what being in the middle of the wilderness gives you. The only hiccup was when they turned off the water in the middle of the day with no warning for repairs. After we inquired with the camp hosts (who had no idea that it was occurring) we learned that this was supposed to be a quick repair. However, Murphy's Law kicked in and it became a bigger deal than they had anticipated. Something broke and the water was off for quite a few hours. Kudos to the park maintenance team, however, since they worked into the night and didn't give up until it was back on. Stuff happens... - NovarroNomads

We stayed in a full hook up site at Axe. However no sewer. The flies were unbelievable. We couldn't enjoy our campsite at all. Just rush in and rush out of rv. Killed 40 flies at least the first night. So disappointed as we were lakefront but couldn't enjoy. - MaryHermosaBeach
Jun 2016 - $26.00
Our second time to stay at Hickory Hill Campground. There are full hookups at this campground. The sites are back in and nicely spaced. A few are waterfront. Shade is abundant. All utilities worked well. Price includes $2 per day senior discount. There is no entry fee to the state park. - summergames84

Would not recommend for more than one night. The sewer is at the back of pad, will need a long hose. This is mainly a mobile home park and not a nice one. Everyone that came up, including park maintenance man had a beer in hand and told us not to go to end of street due to rowdy residents. maintenance man told us they had gotten rid of most of the druggies living here but still had a few to get rid of. This is also not a good part of town. We left before checking in, will never stay here. - travelinggram

We stayed under Good Sam discount. It's an older park but clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Easy on and off Hwy. Sites were gravel pull-thrus w/50 amp good TV reception. Good location to visit the city from. Will stay again. - mcthomps

Two Thumbs up. Short and sweet, this RV park has huge RV spaces in a quiet neighborhood environment with just enough trees. Easy access to the major freeways and shopping. $100 moved me in and after that it was still the best deal in town at $199. Great manager and my neighbors kept there RV space clean. Definitely recommend for long term RV camping. - happytrailz

We were turned away from a park less than 2 miles away from this one because it was full. After a long & difficult drive, I searched my Allstays Camping app & we called this place to see if they had spots. Sure! This was far & away the worst RV park we have encountered. It is behind a gas station on an I-35 service road. The concrete was cracked everywhere. Our water spigot was broken but we just used our tank. The only other campers we spotted the day we were there were permanent residents with rusty trailers >25 years old mostly without wheels or even windows in some cases! We felt pretty unsafe. When leaving to go visit the Oklahoma City National Memorial & Museum, we actually took our computers and left them in our car! But the worst part was that there were probably ten dogs chained to the old trailers & dog poop everywhere. At 5:30 a.m. one of the outside dogs began barking and never quit (we drove out at 8 a.m.). I'm a very positive person but I'm writing this review so others don't make the same mistake. It was very bad! - WinnebagoTraveler

Love this park. Easy access and wonderful Park Host. The setting is beautiful and great trails to walk your dog. We took our Labrador swimming at Stanley Daper lake a few minutes away. Sites are large and level. - godoit
Jan 2018 - $17.00
We gave the Tinker Famcamp a 7 because of the wonderful price, the helpful host, clean bathrooms, clean and inexpensive laundry (.50 to wash and .50 to dry), and a free clean ice machine (great for our margarita night!). We didn't give it higher than a 7 because the design of the campground makes it difficult for big rigs to back in. There's just not much room for maneuvering, plus ours had two decent-sized sharp rocks right at the corner of our pad, making it even more difficult to maneuver. The pads are fairly narrow, and not very long. Sites are close together, and the park is not much to look at. Additionally, vehicle parking is parallel to the road, perpendicular to the RV, and in between sites. Parking in it means parallel parking, getting close to our neighbor and backing in. However, we would stay there again in a heartbeat, given the value and security of staying on base. - RVerFamily
Jun 2017 - $18.00
Camp is very small with very close sites... driving through is a very small road. Stayed here for 2 nights. The base trails are awesome and access to them is right there at fam camp. - Ranger18

Great Place to stay. Clean, very well kept, nice concrete pads with full hookups. nice store and common area. Very friendly and helpful. If your visiting Oklahoma City this is a great place to stay and easy to get to all tourist areas, and downtown. - Johnny xxxxx
Oct 2018 - $35.00
Very nice campground. We stayed in the newer section where most of the sites were pull-through with large grassy sections between them. The sites were concrete and very level, the hook-ups were easy and we had cable. There are3 tornado shelters and given the location, this is a good thing. However, they were quite small and pets were not allowed. Those with pets could stay in the nearby bath house. We would definitely stay again. - swike
Oct 2018 - $36.00
A gem to find after illness forced us to change dates, and the other reservation could not accommodate us. Concrete pads. Pretty level, little adjustment needed. Stayed here to visit Cowboy Hall of Fame. Staff was great, site was great. Satellite worked good, so did Verizon hotspot. We would stay here again. Easy to access from I-35 northbound. - therealSimpsons

Office closed at 6pm. Very tight spaces, lots of vehicles on roadways, had trouble getting into a space, could not vet get parked, even had trouble navigating turns to escape. Bad place. - Tgbruner
Sep 2015 - $23.00
This RV Park has taken a turn for the worst!!! Stayed here approximately 5 years ago and it was clean and pleasant, now it's one of the nastiest parks I have ever seen. 90% of the park is full of permanent residents, around 1/3rd of them are what could be best described as no income pests. They live in dilapidated trailers and have no problem going door to door asking for handouts. There seems to be no park rules that are enforced, even though they are posted. We stayed reluctantly for a few days and boy what an experience that was. The only hookup that seemed to work well was the 50 amp service, water connection leaked at the valve, sewer line was broke off below ground level and covered with a broken cinder block, dogs tied up outside all day and night some even running loose, feces everywhere. This park has so much potential if someone would just spend a little time and money taking care of the little things. The location is fantastic, a little tight getting in but just minutes from anything Oklahoma City has to offer. I would suggest staying at one of the other RV parks in the area for a better piece of mind (One Scary Place)... - Lone Wolf
Jun 2015 - $23.00
We did not stay, park very run down, no room to get into a site due to permanent residents cars lining the narrow rd. We were just stopping for the night at 10:30 pm and had to wake a resident up to move their car parked on the corner so we could get out of the park. Better off on the side of the road if you have to rest. - Kbtx
