Park was kind of dirty. Restrooms were dirty, with no toilet paper. Also no doors on the restrooms or showers. Neighbors were drinking, cussing , carrying on until around 1am. No park ranger to be seen. No rules it seems. Talked to a group of girl scouts & they also were not happy with their stay because of this. - Casey Aldridge
Aug 2016 - $20.00
We like the park but the restroom and showers were as some of the worst I have seen or smelled. The beach areas were found to have trash strung out and trash cans overflowing. This is a nice park just needs to be maintained property for us to use on a regular basis. - HENRY200
Aug 2016 - $25.00
Nice quiet campground that was rather sparsely inhabited during our visit. No attendants on duty, however the Mcloud PD does patrol the area and insure that the honor system is kept honorable. Decent water and 50 amp service, however, no sewer. We used their bathrooms for showers and used their dump station on the way out. Temps during the day very pleasant for August, and the evenings were cool, so we enjoyed a campfire most nights. No WiFi, but we did get a few decent TV channels with our antenna. Not many services close by, however we enjoyed being unplugged for a few days as we visited with an old high school friend. Would certainly return. - PARTYOF2

Great stopover along I-40. Nice wide, long pull through. It's sort of on a sloping hill, but our site was so level that I thought the automatic leveling jacks weren't working. Great customer service, they were so friendly and helpful... which is much appreciated after a long day on the road. - jimandlisa
Dec 2018 - $48.00
Park advertises 25 channels of cable TV, but was told upon check in that cable was not installed in the section of the park where I was going to stay. So in essence I paid for a feature I did not get. I was in space B33. Wifi was difficult to connect, but when I finally did connect was adequate for most email functions, but not for active browsing. The sites are larger than some parks I've visited, and are reasonably level. I didn't use any of the in-park services such as laundry or showers so I can't report on them. - Bubba Warbucks
Oct 2018 - $18.00
My review is mixed and based on a longer stay. An overnighter probably wouldn't see these issues at all. It's a recently expanded park with basic amenities. Roads and sites are good except a couple of turns/hills are sharp/steep. Roads & sites are a combination of asphalt/paved and gravel. Nicely wooded park. Premium sites are very nice (we did not stay on one of those). Basic sites include picnic table. Office and laundry area needs updating but is clean & functional. Large number of seasonal residents but sites and rigs are tidy. Dog park is very small and sandy/muddy. Dog park refuse bin was almost always overflowing. Activity building was closed the entire time except when the owners opened it for a garage sale. (??) Also campground workers speed through the park in golf carts and vehicles. One worker brings his dog off-leash everywhere even though it's against park rules. Best part: 1-mile nature trail through the woods. We walked it every day. Worst part: They wanted us to pay an estimated electric bill at the end of our stay, when no charge for electric had ever been mentioned on website, email confirmation, or upon check-in. Convenient location for visiting Tinker Air Force Base or Midwest City. Only a half hour into Oklahoma City proper. - a_elkins

Apr 2018 - $50.00
On the way to Vegas, we stopped overnight. Full hookup except for sewer but they had a dump station if needed. Back-in site but had area to park the tow car beside the RV. Great site, nice & big, in front of a creek with a walk way for walking the pets. Near truck parking but once inside the RV didn't notice. Friendly staff, casino comped the first night and also comped our night on the trip back home to TN. Filled up next morning at the Truck Stop located on the grounds, cheapest place in the area for fuel. Great Buffet and other restaurants in the casino. Great stop, highly recommend. - Steve Yates
Feb 2018 - $50.00
First night supposed to be free. We were charged both nights. Not a pull thru. Good hookups. - Iamthewalrus
Jul 2017 - $50.00
This campground is a classic example of mismanagement by an Indian casino. It has 50-amp hookups and water but no sewer dumps. It is on the north side of the Grand Casino parking lot and next to a truck stop and overnight parking for 18-wheelers who run their engines all night long. When the park was first opened it was free to anyone who had a casino players card and played a small amount per day, which they never checked. A group of old beat up RVs and degenerate people began squatting since there was no monitoring. The casino management finally found out and overreacted by running all the riff raff out and raising the price to $50.00 per night. We would have gladly paid $10.00 to 15.00 per night since it has no sewer hookup. Now no one stays there due to the price and you have to gamble a huge amount of money to get the points required for a free stay. What a waste and it didn't have to be that way. - Gerald Cornelison

This is a mobile home park with available RV sites. They accept daily and weekly but most are long term monthly's at $285/month including electric. Office is open Mon-Fri only. All roads are paved, each lot has a concrete pad and fenced yard. All monthlies must maintain their own yard. We will be here for two months and will return again. - Capn Kenny and Nancy Sallee

Office closed at 6pm. Very tight spaces, lots of vehicles on roadways, had trouble getting into a space, could not vet get parked, even had trouble navigating turns to escape. Bad place. - Tgbruner
Sep 2015 - $23.00
This RV Park has taken a turn for the worst!!! Stayed here approximately 5 years ago and it was clean and pleasant, now it's one of the nastiest parks I have ever seen. 90% of the park is full of permanent residents, around 1/3rd of them are what could be best described as no income pests. They live in dilapidated trailers and have no problem going door to door asking for handouts. There seems to be no park rules that are enforced, even though they are posted. We stayed reluctantly for a few days and boy what an experience that was. The only hookup that seemed to work well was the 50 amp service, water connection leaked at the valve, sewer line was broke off below ground level and covered with a broken cinder block, dogs tied up outside all day and night some even running loose, feces everywhere. This park has so much potential if someone would just spend a little time and money taking care of the little things. The location is fantastic, a little tight getting in but just minutes from anything Oklahoma City has to offer. I would suggest staying at one of the other RV parks in the area for a better piece of mind (One Scary Place)... - Lone Wolf
Jun 2015 - $23.00
We did not stay, park very run down, no room to get into a site due to permanent residents cars lining the narrow rd. We were just stopping for the night at 10:30 pm and had to wake a resident up to move their car parked on the corner so we could get out of the park. Better off on the side of the road if you have to rest. - Kbtx

This lodge has two campsites with 50A electric. They also have a beautiful 18 hole golf course, a fishing lake, playground, and a swimming pool. The problem we ran into, was that no one in the lodge knew where the RV sites were located. The property is sprawling and massive, so we had to hunt for them, making several wrong turns in the process. Here's how to find them: take the main lodge access road past the lodge. Veer right as it forks onto a gravel road. Follow the gravel road as it passes a grassy park area on your right. Just before the gravel road ends near some storage units, look to your right and you will see two sets of electrical hook-up's on the park grass, right in front of the lake. Park on the grass next to the hook-up's, with your windshield facing the lake. Beautiful view! Be careful as there is a nasty dip as you negotiate onto your turn onto the grass. The site on the right was the best, as the site on the left was harder to get into. It also had several large low-lying tree branches. You will need to unhook if you tow a car behind a motorhome. We found the lodge and it's members to be very friendly. The pool closes at 7pm. The gate at the lodge road entrance is locked around 11pm, and is re-opened around 7am. The place was abuzz with grounds crew at 7:30 am. You must be a B.P.O.E. member to camp here. - craigtaz

Love this park. Easy access and wonderful Park Host. The setting is beautiful and great trails to walk your dog. We took our Labrador swimming at Stanley Daper lake a few minutes away. Sites are large and level. - godoit
Jan 2018 - $17.00
We gave the Tinker Famcamp a 7 because of the wonderful price, the helpful host, clean bathrooms, clean and inexpensive laundry (.50 to wash and .50 to dry), and a free clean ice machine (great for our margarita night!). We didn't give it higher than a 7 because the design of the campground makes it difficult for big rigs to back in. There's just not much room for maneuvering, plus ours had two decent-sized sharp rocks right at the corner of our pad, making it even more difficult to maneuver. The pads are fairly narrow, and not very long. Sites are close together, and the park is not much to look at. Additionally, vehicle parking is parallel to the road, perpendicular to the RV, and in between sites. Parking in it means parallel parking, getting close to our neighbor and backing in. However, we would stay there again in a heartbeat, given the value and security of staying on base. - RVerFamily
Jun 2017 - $18.00
Camp is very small with very close sites... driving through is a very small road. Stayed here for 2 nights. The base trails are awesome and access to them is right there at fam camp. - Ranger18

As someone said, it is 3 to 4 miles south of I-40. But very easy to get to and find. The hard part is finding where the campgrounds are. They are in two different places. If you follow the signs, the first ones you come to are in the front paved parking lot. There are full hookups along a raised strip, where you back up to them. If you continued to follow the signs, they take you past the main building (where the main office is; and where you pay for your site) to the back part of the fairgrounds. Here you will find most of the camp sites. Utilities are along side of each site and easy to utilize. We picked site #313 which backed up to the rodeo arena and was level. There are brick bath houses in each area of the campground. We were here only one night and would definitely stay again when passing through the area. - Roaming RV tech
Nov 2017 - $15.00
We often use Fairgrounds for overnight stops as they provide an inexpensive safe place. This Fairgrounds was no different. It is located about five miles off of I-40 with easy access. Sites were somewhat uneven but we were able to find a mostly level site which was long enough for our 39 ft fifth wheel and tow vehicle which did not require us to unhook. There were multiple restroom facilities on the different loops of the campground. There are small patches of grass between each site so that spacing would be close if the park was full. At this time of year there were probably 10 units in a 400 space Park. There was no price structure posted near the lock box to deposit your nightly rate so we had to guess. The envelope provided was a plain white envelope so we just entered our basic information on the outside. We did not see any employee during our overnight stay. The utility tower was easy to access. The water coming out of the pump was very discolored and needed to be run before attaching our filter. We had 30-plus OTA television stations and Verizon and Sprint worked well. There were big rig friendly fuel stations on the way back to the interstate. We did not see any grocery stores or restaurants. We would stay here again for a quick overnight. - bbmidwife
Jun 2017 - $25.00
We stayed here one night to be near a dog trial in the area. The park is about 4 miles south of 1-40. It is a HUGE RV park in back of the Expo center. It was not manned at 6 pm on Saturday when we arrived, but they have a drop box in which to put your check. I knew that the sites were $25 from their website, but oddly I didn't see any signs stating the price. They have some sites in a concrete parking lot as you go in and then more sites on a gravel road behind the grandstand (there are signs directing you to them.) Those sites are gravel, most of them have full hook ups, and some are pull through. The sites are very close together (think RV park spacing) We stayed in site 366, which was level. There were less than 8 trailers there, and I am sure some of them were residents, but the park was surprisingly clean and perfectly quiet. They have bathrooms with showers and laundry scattered throughout the park as well. While it isn't a destination campground by any means, I was pleasantly surprised by the park and would certainly recommend it as a stop over or as a place to stay if for some reason you are in the area. - wulfleton

The 10 pull through sites sat on a knoll so leveling was not easy. You had to pull up into the site and then forward to get as level as possible before adding several leveling blocks. Site 510 was the only one that was long enough on the knoll so leveling would have been easier. However there was an electrical issue with that site. - Betsy_02
Oct 2018 - $24.00
There are several campground areas in the State Park. We stayed in the RV area and were lucky enough to get one of the ten full hookup sites. The RV section is on a peninsula with the electric and water only sites ringing the water. Very pretty, well wooded campground. May have difficulty putting out a lot of slides in some of the more heavily wooded sites. The roads in the campground are very, very narrow and the turns are tight. We made it fine in a 40 ft motorhome but had disconnected the tow car. Some sites are very hilly. We had to move the motorhome a few feet and re level as the auto jacks said excess slope. Check in without a ranger or reservations is rather confusing. Suggest checking which sites are available by the checking reserve board then finding campsite and return to kiosk to pay and fill out the forms. There are NOT reserve tags at the campsite, they are at the guard shack reserve board. Campsite have fire ring, stainless grill, picnic table, lantern hook and a counter! Close to Edmond for shopping. Lots of people fishing from shore. Fish jumping! - NanciRV

Extended our stay an extra day. Secluded and woodsy with nice views of the lake. Nice concrete picnic areas. Very clean and quite with the exception of the nightly songs of the tree frogs! Entry spots are confusing with poor signage. Bigger, lighted signs would be helpful. - NebraskaNancy

This is an older, family operated park which is a little rough around the edges. Many sites are occupied on a long term basis. Sites have concrete pads & are reasonably level and have space for the tow/towed vehicle. Sewers need to be upgraded with threaded connections. Good water pressure. 50 amp service worked well. When we tried to dump our sewer tanks, the water would not go down, however the owner promptly had a service come in to rectify the situation. Location is on I-35 service road which makes it easy-on & easy-off. We were on a site away from the road so had no highway noise. Owners are friendly & accommodating. We would return here again. - Biker2
Apr 2018 - $30.00
We stayed one night and had a pull through site. This was OK for a one-night stay. It is located on a service road next to the interstate and is very noisy. The staff was friendly. We did have full hookups. The concrete pad on our site was broken up. Seems that most of the campground is occupied by long-term residents. - LynnM
Jul 2017 - $33.00
Got there late. A detailed map to find our spot left on the door. Site was level and wide. Did not use their facilities; they are inside the office and not accessible when the office is closed. Owners were very friendly when they came the next day. We would stay there again. - jphillips
