This campground looks to be new with a lower section currently under construction. All sites have a level concrete pad, water, electric, sewer, free cable and WIFI (Great bandwidth). Nice lawn grass between each site. Most sites have a fire ring but not many picnic tables. Shade is ok as they kept many of the oaks tree during construction. The staff was friendly but the office none existent (work in progress). The showers and laundry was clean and maintained. The only complaint is the park roads are dirt/gravel with a little bit of dust. - Metro Johnson
Sep 2017 - $40.00
We are long term residents and absolutely love it here! It's a new park so they are constantly upgrading and developing new pads among the trees. The roads are still gravel but they will be asphalt by next year. The sites are wide and most are shaded but no pull-through sites available yet. The road-way around the park is very wide so parking is easy. They are slowly placing sod-grass around the sites and installing mail-boxes as we speak. - Earlecoyote

It's a brand new RV park, just 9 minutes from downtown Tulsa. My stay was very quiet and peaceful. They offered me daily, weekly, and monthly rates. I was pleased with how many trees were on the property. They offered much needed shade! Will be back! - Dudley817

This is not a regular campground/RV park but for the people doing events at the fairgrounds. No picnic tables, no patio type area. Very narrow sites but when we were there they were letting people use two sites. All concrete but grass and trees between rows. Water pressure went up and down during our stay so we had to use our pump to ensure water during a shower. A good place if you are attending an event but otherwise I wouldn't stay here again. Oh, a plus, the WiFi was awesome! - joans8849
Apr 2018 - $34.00
We camped at this park while attending the Tulsa Gun Show, which was being held in the Expo Center adjacent to the campground. The campground has been developed out of a very large parking lot. The sites are level but are somewhat difficult to back-into if there is another camper parked across from you. The water and sewer connections are at the back of each site, so make sure you have plenty of hose for both if your connections are toward the front of your rig. There is no cable service but you can pick up several stations locally with your antenna. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a relatively cheap and basic place to stay as long as you aren't expecting any "extras". If you're attending an event at the Expo Square, this is a good place to stay. - farmboy25

A parking lot park, essentially for those here for a purpose, horses, state fair, etc. - budwang

We have been here for four months while getting our sticks and bricks on the market to sell. This park is full of a diverse group of people. Some live here, some come and go while passing thru. The office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful! We have met some of the long term folks here and they are true Americana! People working hard to make a living! The sites are roomy enough, everything works great, WiFi is great!!! - Pepperpati
Sep 2018 - $36.00
Park is dated but clean and well kept. We had a pull through site but had to drive thru an unoccupied site to get to it. I guess they leave that site open to provide access to the pull through sites. Sites are very close with short cedar partitions on both sides. No room to walk between the partition and the RV when the slides were out. No picnic table and no room for one. Worked for us because we were passing through and only staying one night. Didn't plan to unhook the Jeep to go anywhere anyhow. Plenty of grassy areas for the dog. Cable worked ok. Didn't try the internet. - Patricia57
Jun 2018 - $35.00
This park is "gently" dated but very clean and conveniently located. Plenty of long term campers that seem to get the best (shaded) sites. Short term sights are a bit narrow with dog-eared cedar partitions between sites. Good for privacy but in order to have a usable patio, we had to run road side slide 1/2 way in to access basement storage. Water pressure is insane! Bring a pressure regulator. Before using ours the pressure pushed through the toilet valve and slowly filled the bowl. We caught it just in time. Also the water supply is in a pit for freeze protection and the valve position made it necessary to use a 45deg. adaptor to hook up the hose. The staff was very friendly and helpful and there is lots of grass area to walk the dogs. The office and other facilities are cat friendly. - jnlb

This is a nice well maintained park. We enjoyed our stay for the most part. This would be a great park except for 2 things. 1) Water hookups are shared with multiple sites and there seems to be no rhyme or reason to their location. The closet one to me was over 75 ft away shared with 2 other sites. 2) We never did find a dumpster to put our trash in. The park rules say we are to place our trash in the dumpster at the dump station, but when we got to the dump station there was no dumpster to be found. - LarryJB
Aug 2018 - $10.00
This is a very family friendly COE that is popular with folks from around the area. The sites are unique in that you may have up to 3 sites off one access for large groups to camp together. Boat ramp, playground and some very nice shaded sites across from the water and some with no shade right on the water. The loop we were on was quiet. However, the bathhouse was a concrete bunker with NO ventilation. While it was acceptably clean, at 96 degrees it was like an oven. Basically not usable.
Don't be fooled by your GPS. It will tell you you have arrive 2.5 miles from the actual entrance because the address is the administrative offices for the COE. - DHK
Jul 2018 - $10.00
This is a great COE. Besides most of the campsites in all 3 loops either being lakeside or across the road with a lake view, it has tons of things to do. Loads of well maintained green space, horseshoe pits, basketball court, playground, baseball diamond, volleyball net, boat launch, swimming beach along with frisbee golf. Most lakeside sites had direct entry into the water and the sites were nicely spaced. Some sites had loads of shade while others had some shade. Most sites had covered patios and all had a fire pit, grill and picnic table. Lake is clean and great for swimming, boating and fishing. We will definitely return to Tall Chief Cove when returning to the area. This campground is right up there in our favorite COE's. - Budmobile

Nov 2018 - $20.00
Rate reflects monthly with electric included. We have been full timers for 4.5 years and this is the 4th time we have stayed at this park and we have never had a problem. At all other parks people have left our stuff alone but yesterday we had one of our bikes stolen so if you use this park make sure everything is locked and bikes are chained. This park is a old mobile home park with huge lots and a lot of trees and the people are friendly. Getting off the interstate and back on is a little tricky. I will use this park again but will not be so trusting. - User3655
Sep 2018 - $40.00
We stayed here for 30 days. The monthly rate was almost the same as we paid in OKC. We didn't have cable here and the wifi was not great. It didn't even work the first week and when it did come back on line we found we were limited to one device at a time and the speed was pretty bad. They only mowed the grass once while we were here and the mosquitos were so bad we couldn't even sit outside in the evening. When we reserved the site we were told it was a pull-through, but it was not. If you are unsteady on your feet, you have to be very careful as there seems to be a mole infestation and there are piles of dirt and soft spots everywhere. There is a sewage treatment facility nearby, so if the mosquitoes didn't keep you indoors, the smell would. This isn't a fault of the park, but definitely worth noting. - Just Wandering
Sep 2018 - $38.00
This is a mobile home park (some trailers kept up and some not so much) with some RV spots. However, we found the park to be quiet with spacious sites and paved streets. Our site was a very spacious pull-thru with shade trees, which really helped in the 95 degree weather. The park is across the street from a nice bike trail - 4 miles to DT. - Deb and Chris

We like lots of room and this is your typical side by side RV park. Most of the trees have been removed so there is no shade. Our hookup had leaking water so our canopy area was muddy as well. There are several monthly renters that make the park unattractive as well. If I'm up that way again, I'd head to Tall Chief Cove. - rong1000

Oct 2018 - $33.00
Nice campground just off I-44 in Tulsa. Clean, neat. We already had our site number so we pulled in and parked. Narrow, short parking pad. We fit, but had to disconnect. Bathrooms and Showers were dated, but clean and functional. The location behind a rise between the camp and the highway really reduced the road noise to a tolerable level. Handy location for visiting and touring around the Tulsa area. We were here in a Motorhome. - Rae & Mark
Jun 2018 - $35.00
Just stop over one night. Easy access. Lead to a pull through. It was a little short and we agreed we'd pull ahead to another which was better. Level site, but hook ups located at rear of site which is always a challenge for pull throughs. We had all the extensions with us that we needed. Hook ups worked fine. Just off main road, but road noise not a problem probably due to fact that the CG is located in a "hollow" a bit below the road. We'd stay again for an overnight. - Rich W
May 2018 - $35.00
The park is located right on I44 and near Hwy 75. This is an older park, mostly pull-throughs. Our site was barely long enough for pickup and hooked up camper. All the connections are at the back of the site so I had to get out an extra water hose and add a sewer hose connection. The water connect is underground. I had to get down on my knees to connect the water hose. The owners are friendly and accomodating. I asked about parking and they directed me to some nearby sites that they didn't expect to use and told me that any of them are fine. They also offered to help me hook up the water if I was having trouble getting to the spigot. Yes, you can hear the traffic, but when you pick an RV park beside an interstate you can't expect much else. The restrooms are older. When we were there they needed cleaning, but it looked like the need was the result of recent activity. Our Verizon signal was good, campground WiFi worked fine, and I had no problem getting a satellite TV signal. - nazpaz

Jun 2018 - $30.00
This is a campground long forgotten! The owners have not put any money back into the park! The cable was there but did not work, the faceplate for electrical hookup was taped on with MASKING TAPE! The sewer inlet was just a pipe in the ground, no cap! Spaces were paved, but the spacing was really close, and the ground has fallen away from the pads so that is where all the water goes and stays so you are forced to walk in the muddy, moldy "grass" between spaces. There are three washers for the whole campground, one with a very small tub, they charge $2.00 for each, but the dries are free! Then you find out it takes 4 hours to dry 3 pairs of jeans! - Hillbilly Gypsies
Nov 2015 - $30.00
The owner went out of his way to meet us and guide us to the park. Located in a 100 year old rock quarry. Busy and tight, but the service trumpted minor flaws. Cable and WiFi good. - Alsvid
Sep 2015 - $30.00
This wasn't our first go around with this park. Unfortunately, due to surrounding RV parks being full, we had to stay at this one, again. This park is located in a pretty area, and is decently maintained. But, the husband/wife who run this facility sorely lack in "customer service" and "manners" and that is putting it mildly! The way they talk to their "patrons" is quite condescending! If you need assistance with anything regarding their hook-ups, be prepared to feel like a nuisance!! I asked for help regarding the cable, and you would have thought I asked for their first born! (And, they never did come help!) Each site doesn't have it's own cable, so every 4 sites or so, their will be a jumbled up mess of cables and 4 different cords stretching across the yards, and underneath RV'S to hook-up for tv. Other than that and their rude demeanor, the park itself is entirely too full. They could take out a few spots, to make room for more decent sized sites, especially with their outrageous rates, that I'm pretty sure they make up depending on how much they feel like charging when you arrive. They have a "bath house/laundry facilities" but, they only have a couple washers and dryers that aren't very good, I used once and after that used the local laundromat. If you are looking for a nice, affordable RV park, go a few more miles down the road to Oak Ridge, they don't have laundry or bath house, but their monthly rates are $75 cheaper, that includes electric, DirecTV, and a very sweet lady who runs the place! - ScG-RGj9310

May 2018 - $35.00
Stayed here for a month so the monthly rate was $400. Which included the electric. This park is 95% occupied by permanent residents. There were only a few "junkie" trailers/sites. The "cheap" rate allows one to look away from a lot of things. It's quiet and you don't feel like you need to bolt down your possessions. - Rickl1
Apr 2017 - $25.00
This park has very close access to US Hwy 412. There are two sections to the park, the one closer to the river is further away from the highway, but the noise is very apparent. The pad was concrete and the facilities were fine. Someone tried to break into my camper shell over night while we were there-thanks for that. That same wonderful person stole an end cap off my truck's step rail. Weird violation and cheap...hold me back! There were over 100 cigarette butts that I cleaned up from the site I stayed in. So no good deed goes unpunished at this park. I liked the state park up the street for 1/3 the price and full hook ups without the trash. Could not pay me to put my rig here again. - Seudonim
Oct 2016 - $25.00
Bring earplugs. In the middle of the night trains started going through. They were very close by and woke me each time. The park, which is primarily a long term storage/cheap full timer location, also gets a lot of road noise. There is a lot of stickery grass. If you don't mind loud trains, this place is fine for one nighters or as a base. Friendly on site manager. - beckydmc

facilities were great--showers clean and hot. Swimming was yucy because the beach was closed due to the flooding...so we swam in the "appointed" swimming area. It was a nice campground, well maintained, except we wished for more open places to play frisbee etc. There was a trail that was nice to hike and take the dogs on. - CKW1
Jul 2010 - $17.00
The sites here are a little small and some are difficult to get into depending on the size of the rig. The interior roads are narrow and tight with trees close to the edge of the road. These campsites are fine for smaller rigs, but the larger ones should choose sites on the periphery of the campground. We were wedged in pretty tightly between some trees and weren't able to put our awning out on our last visit. It would be nice if the sites were paved or at least had a fresh layer of gravel on them. The camp hosts are very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms/showers are clean and well maintained. The swimming area is rather rocky. The walking trail is nice with some pretty scenery. We have camped here on a couple of occasions and we will camp here again because this area is close to us. - RN4ustat
Sep 2009 - $8.00
I have been to quite a few Corps parks and this is one of the worst. It doesn't have to be this way. Like most Corps parks, this one is located on water, Keystone Lake, with nice views of the lake. Some sites are lakeside. Many of the sites can accommodate big rigs but the interior roads are narrow with trees near the edge of the road. Trees need to be trimmed to avoid brushing against the top and sides of the RV. Many of the sites have steep grades. There is severe erosion throughout the park from rainwater. Large pieces of driftwood clutter the boat landing. Little or no attempt has been made to keep the sites, which are gravel, free of grass and weeds. Many sites need a fresh layer of gravel. Fire pits and grills were not cleaned on a regular basis. The price reflects the Senior Pass 50% discount. - Comdac
