4 RV Parks near Waurika, Oklahoma
Oct 2017 - $10.00
The campground is spacious and sites are well spaced out but there are very few trees and the area is flat with very little if any scenery. It was very windy during our stay so outside activities including sitting outside were non existent. The town of Waurika is pretty depressed but the grocery store was nice and well stocked and the folks working there were very nice. Beware if you need to do laundry. The only laundromat we could find was in a run down building that housed what we think was an old bar at one time. We probably would not return to this campground. - Budmobile
Apr 2015 - $18.00
Very few sites with 50 amp & 2 of them were occupied with the locals parking their boats & trailers on them. Also ppl parking right in the road & can't get around. Called to complain but problem was still not resolved. Been here 2 wks & never saw a park ranger. Grass is tall. No sewer. Quiet park. Bathrooms were clean but toilets were running every time I went in. - Retired & rambling

Nice COE park located on Lake Waurika. Quiet park with good fishing. - Jeffrey12
May 2019 - $9.00
This campground is on the east side of Waurika Lake, opposite the Kiowa campground. The layout was nice, fairly spacious sites, but many of them were under water due to the ridiculous spring rains this year. Our site was on the inside of the loop and on higher ground, so we didn't have an issue with that. The restroom in our section was not very clean, but it only had toilets and sinks. The bath house with showers is located closer to the entrance at the "swim beach", and it was filthy. It looked like nothing had been fixed up because it wasn't the main season or something. Bugs and carcasses all over, nothing swept, muddy boot prints in the ladies shower area (?). There were only a handful of sites occupied when we were there, so perhaps it's better once summer arrives. This COE campground is fine for an overnight or three. We used it to rest as we traveled from San Antonio to northern Illinois, and it would probably be fine for more rustic camping with a fishing focus. With the water level so high it was difficult to see what the place would normally look like. But even so, a little cleaning would go a long way! The sunsets were magnificent, and we saw swallow-tailed kites there - beautiful birds! All the sites have 50-amp and water, picnic table on a concrete pad with a shelter, and grill. Ours even had a fish-cleaning stand-up table. No fire pit. Our experience overall was good, I don't want to rate the place solely on the condition of the bathrooms. And they can't control the weather. - Denise and Glenn
