This place is a DUMP. We made reservations for a 34’ motor home towing. We could hardly maneuver around the area. The site they assigned us our unit wouldn’t even fit and it was very unlevel. The unit right across from us had 7 empty 12 pack boxes laying in the yard. It was supposed to be 5 minutes from Seminole but was about 20 minutes. Trash everywhere. I would not stay here if it were free. A real dump. - Kent Carmichael

Small fishing lake, no jet skis, skiing or tubing allowed. Lots of Geocaches in the area on on the lake. Very quiet lake even though all sites were full. You can now make reservations by calling the ranger - we had to text him first before he would answer his phone. Would recommend you make reservations if coming on a weekend, the park was full. Bathrooms were not clean and did not have working showers (stalls were there but faucets had been removed). Very nice swimming beach, sand bottom and well marked. Lots of fishing docs and a fishing bridge for bank fishing. You pay at the boxes located at the fishing docks. This is a very quiet lake, would go there for a relaxing non rowdy crowd! Text the ranger to get reservations. Some sites have sewer. There are two dump stations in the park. - Fonda

Our second off-season stay at Sportsman Lake Park. We had a whole campground loop to ourselves so it was very quiet at night. But this time the water was off due to the cold, so we used up the small amount of water in our fresh water tank and dumped at the RV dump. Therefore we were only charged the very low W/E rate. The park is quite a distance from I-40, but we generally use US 270 when heading to or returning from Mena, AR anyway. - fanrgs

It was an ok overnight stay in a campground owned by an adjacent restaurant. You picked your own site and let them know. The bathrooms were bad. The doors didn't even lock. - Florida Bob
Sep 2017 - $20.00
I rated this excellent as it is the best value and clean safe park I have been in on this trip. The restaurant is an incredible value with good home cooking. Campground is full hook ups, antenna tv great, perfect location for an overnight stay. Came from a horrible camp ground full of unfriendly full time residents. I read about full time residents and cringed. Yes I am sure they are here. No clue who is full time and who isn't. That is how well run this park is. Big field out back. Quiet. Certainly is a gem! Concrete pads. Pull thru. - Ali22

Checked in at restraint without picking site first and was asked what site I was in by three different individuals. Only charged $20.00. Several open sites scattered among long term residents that were tidy and quiet. Level concrete pad just long enough for 5W and truck without unhooking. FHU with hookups located near middle of site. Wifi was better than many RV parks that we have stayed in at twice the price. Would stay here again. Pull in and setup in a vacant spot and check in at restraint. If restraint closed they have a drop box to pay. Some road noise. - campingdog

The perfect stop for an overnight while crossing the country on Route 40. Very easy on and off. The staff at the travel center were very nice, we were told to just pull in and pick whatever site we wanted. You have a choice of gravel or concrete. We picked the concrete for $28 for the night, very reasonable. The site easily accommodated our 38' Motorhome and toad. The hidden gem of this RV park is the Roadhouse Diner! The food was fabulous!!! Try the pork chops, cole slaw and mashed potatoes....Perfect If we ever pass this way again would definitely stay again or at the least stop for a meal. - CarenCharlie112
Jun 2019 - $29.00
It's located just off the interstate and is easy to get back onto I-40. Check-in is at the Convenience Store, we selected a concrete site that was long and level. A convenient place to spend the night, just off the highway. Diner next door had decent food and good service. There were no paper towel's or air dryers for hands. We camped at Bar H Bar RV Park in a Fifth Wheel. Casino real close........ - JR and The Boys

This is a great park for stopping overnight on I-40. It’s located just off the interstate and is easy to find and to get back onto I-40 when you depart. The Travel Center also has truck diesel pumps with easy access for fueling up at arrival. You check-in at the Travel Center, there’s a place to park your rig that’s out of the way while getting checked in. Roads through the park are gravel and were a little soft after all of the rains, but we had no issues and they were very wide. We selected a concrete site that was very long and very level. Gravel sites are also available. Hookups all worked well and we had good water pressure. The park was quiet at night, we selected an interior site a bit away from I-40 and had no road noise issues. We ended up staying 2 extra days to avoid bad weather in the area we were headed. Verizon service was good, clear satellite shots. Nice for a place to rest up for the next drive. - Buckeyefan4
