Friendly staff, grounds well cared for, great activities for all ages. Good size sites, clean. Awesome camping experience!! Love the bouncing pillows & waterslide & free coffee. - Kate B
May 2016 - $66.00
We always tend to stop by for a weekend in October as they have the best haunted house for young kids (6-12 yrs). This is a KOA and the level of service is right up there. Facilities are clean, staff are helpful (they helped dump at the dumping station), pizza place on site (weekends only in Oct), etc. My kids liked the bouncy field (air inflated field which acts like a trampoline) very much. - Gus_976
Jul 2015 - $54.00
Beautiful park, decent lots (gravel pad, fair amount of space between sites For a koa), tons of things for kids to do - splash pad, pool, park, jumping pillows [big & small] toddler park, lrg water slide ($5, specific dates and times), on site chip wagon and pizza (specific dates and times), baseball field, swings, Kamp k9, rental bikes, mini putt ($). Bathrooms were super clean, and free showers really make this ideal (note: there is no sewer hookup available at this campground). What makes this campground lose some points is the male owner, who does not seem to enjoy himself at all. He is very short-tempered, and not at all chatty, despite us trying to make the effort when we had to be in close proximity (ie. He runs the chip wagon and pizza stand). His wife is very friendly and is who greeted us upon arrival, and chatted with us when we requested a pump-out service (stay 5 days and you get 1 free pump out). When you arrive you will have some rules read to you. I tend to take this personally, but with some thought, it's an indication that they have had problems to deal with in the past. Park is super-busy on the weekends, so we were happy with our Sunday to Saturday stay. All in all, would recommend a visit. - Larinator

Stayed 4 nights on this terrific campground. People friendly, sites generous, views spectacular. Site was very level grass surface. - Jimbeau
Sep 2018 - $35.00
Sites are spacious on a grassy field but without shrubbery between. There are trees between every other site. We were across the park road from the St Lawrence River with most adjacent sites occupied by seasonal campers with lots of water gear. There is a boat launch there. It is a short drive from the Ogdensburg International Bridge. - Hikers
Jul 2018 - $33.00
Very nice large park right on the St. Lawrence River. This is a City of Lisbon owned park. Staffed by wonderful, accommodating young and old employees, it has 100 grassy sites, in any configuration you need, full, partial or dry camping. If you have kids, there is a playground, and a fully life guarded wonderful swimming beach. For boaters, there is a boat launch with 3 docks and room to store your boat when not using. sites are very large. Can't say enough nice things about this park. Wal Mart and Price Chopper groceries (awesome beautiful grocery store) 6 miles to the west. For gamblers, Mohawk Tribal casino about 20 miles to the east. Great park! - AlaskaJack

Here's are review we are frequent campers there as we have family that lives just down the road. We called in July to book for the august long weekend the girl whom we spoke to said she had one site left for the long weekend so we booked it. When we arrived on Saturday august 5th to check in my husband was greeted with no "hi how are you" but with a " it will be 25$ fee for early check in" as we were 1hr early. So we decided to back out and go kill 1hr in Prescott. Then upon are return my husband was told that we did not have reservations for the long weekend that we were booked for the following weekend and they had no sites available so we were unable to camp there. Just to add to all this they even charged us for a cancellation fee for the weekend we were not supposed to be booked for . Not a good start to our holidays. The staff at check in was not pleasant and they did not seem to care about our situation they did not even try to accommodate us. Why would we pack up a huge fifth wheel to come on the wrong weekend. I have to say they have lost our business at this point. We will now stay at the other campground in the area. - Danny wolfe
Jun 2017 - $54.00
For a week we had a lakefront site - a wonderful view, however we could not sit outside as the shad flies were in the multi millions...During the week it was heaven but full on the weekends with VERY loud music at night, and no one at the office to complain to. Given the opportunity they seem to enforce the rules - no rugs on the lawn, guests must park in the lot. The sites are mushy after long rains..but they keep the park beautiful. There was no wi fi. - new 5th wheeler
Sep 2016 - $50.00
Great location, we stayed at a site on the water. The internet was a little iffy, good water, and power. The view is fantastic, the staff were helpful and nice..Not alot in Prescott...but we didn't need to go anywhere....you could bring a small boat...it looked like easy access. - new 5th wheeler

Here at Cole's Creek for four days. Desk workers are cold and disinterested. Park claims WiFi but when I could not connect, they said that it "doesn't work". Not that it was broke and that they were working diligently on a fix. No apologies either. Forget about cell service too. I have Verizon and have had no issues until I got here. -115db means no usable service. I wanted an RV spot, not banishment to Mars.
Not level. Large tree obstacle three feet from corner of RV back-in from very narrow drive. Several scars, one of them mine. Needs a chainsaw. Now! Regrettable choice to come here. - cliffgi
Jul 2018 - $18.00
Love the park, great views, great child friendly, just do not agree with the guest policy, only 2 license plates allowed, should be names of people staying since most of us drive different vehicles, this gets very costly if you have to pay every time you return to the park, should go by the name of the people staying like all the other parks do, we use 2 vehicles, a truck to haul RV and our car to run around in, our family members are charged to drive there car thru the gates when they are staying at the site with us, my daughter has to go back n fourth to work everyday and is charged to come into the park everyday and she stays there with us, also the workers inside the office are not friendly at all, very rude especially the elderly ladies, we won't be staying anymore at Coles Creek this will be our last summer, what a shame, the other campers agree and complain about this charging for extra vehicles too. - Tamra cruz
Jul 2017 - $38.00
Large pools of standing water when we arrived. Excellent views of St. Lawrence River from most sites in loop A. Small unguarded sandy beach on sheltered cove near loop A with main beach and playground close to other loops. Shopping & restaurants 12 miles away in Massena. Many sites were re-flooded during our one week stay as there is no provision for drainage. - Appleknocker

Large grassy lots. Water tap on your power post on a majority of sites. Two dumping stations. One in each end of park. Very clean. Grounds are patrolled. Close to Upper Canada Village...camp ground is 2km from Morrisbourg east on hwy 2. along the St. Lawrence Seaway. - The Allens
Jun 2017 - $42.00
Muddy soggy lot. Got stuck getting in and out of the lot. Reserved 4 sites. 2 on each side of road. Got 4 on same muddy side. No sewage and only 15 amp service. Guy at front was a d-bag. Lots huge. No fire pits. Tried to charge us $12 a night for an extra car in the front lot. Don't waste your money. Go to Ivey or a KOA. - NB Family
Sep 2016 - $21.00
Nice park that only the Federal Govt could provide. Senior's get 1/3 off all year in the older Cedars section of this park and that comes with two free tickets to nearby Upper Canada Village. These discounted sites are either unserviced or with 15 amp electric but come with a beautiful view of the Seaway and shipping traffic. There are full service sites available in the newer part of the park. Dump station, potable water and toilet/shower house nearby. - Smasma

Beautiful family friendly site. Two pools plus artificial lake with sandy beach. Good size lots with trees for shade. Many play structures for kids. Owners are very pleasant and helpful. One owner went out of his way to help with a water pressure problem in my new trailer. Very clean washrooms and showers. We had a very pleasant 2 day stay and would go again. - Jacques Gouin

Sep 2010 - $25.00
Beautiful state park on the St.Lawrence River. Electric sites can be a little cramped and sunny but mostly occupied by RV's w/ac. Tent site loop is all shaded. We stayed in the RV section. Nice beach and plenty of room to hike and bike if desired. Way off the main road so there's little noise and lots of woods. Sites are spacious but open. Very nice in the off season if that is your style. We'll be back. Restrooms and showers were nice. - naturepix

Stayed Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary & Nature Campsite and will definitely return there. Most sites are very wide, giving you ample room to backup/setup your trailer. The washrooms/showers are well maintained and are clean. Numerous trails to walk/bike on. Wonderful view of the St Lawrence so you can watch the passing freighters. - GandRHarris
Sep 2015 - $38.00
This is a very pleasant camp ground in a grassed "park" setting. Most sites are shaded with mature trees, some sites are in the open. A few sites have a nice view of Lake St. Lawrence but no views of Seaway shipping. Most of the sites have reasonably level driveways. Sites have both water and electric, dump station easy to use. The road into the park is long and mostly washboard gravel. - JTD2
Jul 2015 - $45.00
This campground is actually in Ingleside just down the road from the Farran Park and is part of the Parks of the St. Lawrence group. There is a long washboard gravel road leading to the park itself but once there apart from the poorly maintained inside roads it's all good..a great view of the ships going by on the St. Lawrence river..large, well-spaced sites. individual showers, clean washrooms, a great Interpretive Centre and friendly staff. No real security and office is a good jaunt from the campground itself but this is a quiet area. - Ron and Lynda

This is a beautiful park. Our site, 208, was slightly on an upgrade so we had to use levelers. We had a nice view of the river, but in order to see the ships passing on the river, a different spot would have been better. I guess that is why other trailers were at the other end of the row. Upon checking in, we were given two tickets to Upper Canada Village. While wifi was strong, we weren't able to download some sites. We will definitely return for another stay. - Patches

The camp hosts are exceptionally hospitable. I do not know why this campground doesn't receive more and better reviews. It is very clean, with bins for garbage and recyclables. The best sites are halfway through the park or at the runaround loop. Although a narrow campground on the banks of an historic locks system, the road leads to a turnaround that is quite roomy to maneuver. The sites lack sewer because it is so close to the locks, but a sewer dump station is situated right outside the gates for easy access to the villages sewer system. All folks we met were very friendly and in the age group of right before retiring or retired. Only a few seasonal set ups. Very quiet in the evenings. We stayed for three nights, with very convenient access to this picture postcard perfect village of shops, art galleries, glass blowing facilities, and trendy restaurants. Ice cream can be expensive for a cone (GRIN) in the village. I highly recommend the Village Bean as the local coffee shop. If you go early in the morning, say 5:30am or 6:00am (and I am a sunrise kind of person), then you will meet and be able to listen to the senior village residents talk about the church event from the previous evening or the local Legion's dinner from last night. The qwerky residents were brought up and lived here long before it became expensive and trendy and come for their morning breakfast and coffees. - michaelsutton
Aug 2012 - $26.00
The camp administrators are very personable and happy to give advice on where to eat, local activities, etc. Although there were other families with children, the majority of people at this site seemed to be pre-senior/senior, many with seasonal set ups. We stayed for three nights, and two of those nights the gate was closed to traffic by 9pm. No bigs, I just let the chain out and drove in, but it would have been nice to know if there was a curfew. There were no children's play areas on site, but there is a nice park about a 5 minute walk down the road. The park is lovely with pleasure craft and yachts sailing right past the door to our tent, much to the delight of my children (aged 6 & 3). There were no pools or splash pads evident in the immediate area, but for the price, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular. The only big shock/surprise was the fact that multiple trains go by the campsite each night, tooting their whistles! This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but we certainly were not expecting it! We would stay again. - HendersonClan
Jun 2011 - $29.00
Great overnight park or short stay, mostly back in spots. No sewer, do have a dump station and fresh water fill up area. Located on the Rideau River. Beautiful village all services in walking distance. Parks Canada Lock Station next door. Free firewood, trailers are close together. Great value for the price and the Lions Club its a great organization. - The Allens
