Jun 2006 - $31.00
Nice clean park and friendly owners on site. Only real problem with this park, is the poor wiring on west side. Could not run air conditioning after being charged for 30 amp service. We left early and will take our own generator if we go back. New owners are trying to keep all happy, but will have to do some up-grading of the electrical system to keep people coming back to an otherwise very nice park! - cornplanter2

This is a nice clean park. Very family oriented. The weekend we stayed they had Halloween for the kids. We had a full service site and everything worked fine. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future. - Rdownton
Sep 2017 - $40.00
Beautiful site right on the lake. Sandy beach perfect for pulling boat up to site. Good boat ramp. Easy to get into site with room to park our truck and trailer. Responsible dog owner friendly. The new owner is a lovely lady friendly and helpful. Only downside is it is beside Hwy 60. - LMmuskoka

We stayed in site A31 and it was fantastic. Just a few feet from waters edge. What a beautiful view. Rain has made it difficult for owners to keep it at its best, but they were trying. Will definitely be back again. I think an annual trip for sure. Thanks to store staff and all others. - dalyn8

Oct 2018 - $59.00
We paid $65 Canadian per night which I thought was a bit on the steep side. It was worth it though as we really enjoyed this spot. Our lot size was very generous. The location is is a bit remote which is great. The indoor pool was a win for the grand kids as it was fall and definitely not lake swimming weather. We were overall very happy and definitely plan more visits in the future. - Rdownton
Jul 2016 - $60.00
Canadian summer resort with some sites for transient RV's. More for extended stays. Very secluded beautiful location on Barks Lake. We had electric, water, sewer, but the sewer hookup was a bit iffy. No cable and were not able to hook up to wifi in the office. Since resort is on a hillside the sites are not very level. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Do Not follow Good Sam Trip Planner directions or your GPS - this place is secluded! Proceed to Barry's Bay, turn on Dunn Street to Sunny Hill Rd. - Breezy2

We were reassigned to a pull-through site instead of a back-in before we got there and were glad to have more room on busy Labour Day weekend. The staff were very nice and cooked quite a meal for the entire campground. Park guests have access to a beach and free canoes and kayaks on the Ottawa River. Many sites are seasonal; we had booked well ahead of time since it was a holiday. It was pretty quiet between 10pm and 7am. - Hikers
Jul 2018 - $50.00
This is a very basic campground. It looks like most of the campers are long term and are given a minimum of notice. Seems like it's mostly youngish workers/laborers from the people I have seen so far. I thought it was going to have a river view, but that is limited to a peek between buildings across the road from the campground. Ontario was in the midst of a heat wave and the hook-up had a lot of trouble keeping my one a/c going weakly. This campground is fine for an overnight stay. - EdinFL
Jun 2017 - $30.00
It's a small park, new owners. Very clean and friendly. Park includes wifi, spacious spots also the use of kayaks and canoes. Park owners were constantly working on improving the park. New cabins, landscaping and pool going in. Absolutely a great value. Can't wait to comeback next year. Pet friendly. - ThePullmans
