8 RV Parks near Meaford, Ontario
Aug 2016 - $37.00
We stayed here because we have friends in the area and this was the closest campground that our 45 ft coach would fit in. It is a large gravel lot, with 30 amp electric service. There is a dump station and potable water adjacent to the lot. There is a grassy strip behind the campsites, with picnic tables.
There is a fair amount of local traffic through the lot throughout the day.
Admittedly, there are not a lot of amenities!
That being said: we love it here!
Our satellite works here, and we can just get the Marina WiFi. Not strong, but usable.
The Marina bathrooms and showers are spotless!
We would stay here again, for sure! - MerBee
Sep 2013 - $41.00
This is just gravel parking lot with 30 amp electric hook ups - four of the eight require an extension cord. We stayed here to be close to downtown and so that we could see the full moon rise over the bay. Staff was very friendly. - rockfarmer

We really enjoyed our week stay here. There are two areas to this park, the upper area has room for larger rigs. The area we were in has smaller sites, but is right on the bay, with a beautiful view and a dark clear sky at night to see the stars. The waterfront sites are only booked for a week at a time, Friday to Friday. The park is kept clean and is full of families. No full time residents here. Sites are fairly level, our hookups were in convenient location. The WiFi worked well for us. Sprint phone service was good. The pup loved the walks on the beach and on the trails in the park. We will stay here again when in the area. - Living the Dream
Jul 2016 - $38.00
Nice city campground on Georgian Bay. Some sites are on the water but are very close to each other. Upper sites away from the water are more spacious and partially shaded. Meaford is a nice quiet little beach town and the full hook-up campground is a very good place to base a visit to Georgian Bay. - Appleknocker
Jul 2014 - $37.00
This is a pleasant quiet park, convenient for our overnight stay. Nice sandy beach. Staff was friendly and helpful. - D and M
May 2017 - $20.00
Our first trip out this year. The park is mainly seasonals but with some places left over for the overnight visitors such as ourselves. Very helpful owner who couldn't do enough for us. My only concern would be that when the park is full you're going to be very close to your neighbour, but at this time of year it was just fine. The site is well-kept, we had full service on ours, very quiet site as schools are not yet out. - Chris_m
Aug 2014 - $30.00
This campground is a very pleasant place, quiet and well set-up. All facilities are well-maintained. The access for our 36 foot fifth wheel was good. Our rate reflects a discount, but even the full rate is excellent. The only thing that keeps this place from being a 10 is the lack of a laundry. Though many of the sites are seasonals, several are kept available for transients. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. - wandrr
Aug 2018 - $57.00
My husband and I were traveling around Ontario and found this campground in a Campground booklet. Decided to try it out. We were not disappointed. Quiet and clean are the two best words to describe this place. Nice pool and great sites. Would definitely return again. - SharonO
Jun 2016 - $40.00
The pull through sites have large trees scattered on them, which make pulling in a little tricky. This campground is right on HWY. 26, and traffic noise is irritating. Entrance area before the gate is very small, and poorly designed. You must stop before the gate and register at the office, and there is only room for a few cars before traffic backs up onto the highway. Yikes. Showers are ok. A little dirty and cracking in places. I would not camp here again. - Monique_F
Jul 2012 - $30.00
Amazing view from our site along the beach. Our first time in Collingwood but won't be the last. All staff were very friendly and grounds were in clean maintained condition. - Rocco Z
Jun 2007 - $35.00
Do no stay at this park if you have a large fifth wheel or motorhome. It is an old park more suited to travel trailers under 32 feet. The tree branches have not been cut back & our motorhome did not fit on the site. Good thing we carry a saw with us. - Coach Campers
Jul 2018 - $40.00
We also stayed on site #57 and had the same problem with the sewer hose. But as we only stayed a couple of nights it really wasn't a problem and we were able to dump the tanks by backing up just before we left. Beautiful site and the small lake is very photogenic. Nice and quiet site, large enough for our 30ft trailer and the truck. Will certainly be back. - Chris_m
Jul 2017 - $40.00
Lovely camp on the Bruce Trail ( side trail ). Well maintained, clean. We had a pull through #57. It was more private as there was a small grove of trees in front of the road and it was the last in the road. It was rather tight to get the trailer and fit the truck in. We could not reach the sewer with our hose as we had to pull beyond the hydro hookup so we could open the slide outs. Not a huge issue, but for someone staying longer, ensure you have a longer sewer hose. Everyone was very friendly including the office staff. We did not spend a lot of time in the camp as we were out hiking, but the few walks we did take, we were impressed with the upkeep of the permanent trailer lots and how friendly the residents were to us. We will come back. - Lisa OK
Jul 2016 - $40.00
Stayed here while travelling through the area. Highway signage could be improved, missed a turn-off and had to find secondary route. Roadway into campground is through a working farm and is a very rough and dusty gravel road. Sites are fairly large pull-throughs however the sewer outlet is not usable with a motorhome with dinghy attached requiring the use of a couple extra lengths of hose which we didn't have. Wi-Fi is only available in the office. We would stay there again if in the area. - BillandEila
May 2016 - $32.00
This is a lovely park within Owen Sound city limits. Great multi-use park including a full-service campground. Sites are of varying sizes and some gravel roads are a little narrow. Trees hug the roads in some places too- we drove out the "wrong" way as there was no way we could make the 90 degree turn through the trees to go the "right" way when we left the park.
We highly recommend this treasure of a campground. We would stay here again for sure. - DCM/JMB
Aug 2005 - $20.00
I cannot say enough nice things about this park and area! It was stepping into a Norman Rockwell painting. Beauty everywhere! Wonderful people, 5 gorgeous waterfalls, a short drive to a massive white-sand beach. Fishing, boating, tours, shopping, and dining in abundance. Something for everyone. I loved the smells and sounds in this park. It's nestled in a wooded ravine where a river runs past the r.v. sites. There is a little bird sanctuary nearby. You can hear the gentle rustling of the leaves, the rushing water and the cry of an occasional bird. There are trees everywhere. There is a walk that takes you through an almost primeval forest. The park offers a lovely restaurant, childrens play area, pool, wading pool, boating, fishing, and mini golf. Picnic areas everywhere. We were there when a national dog show was going on. Enjoyed ourselves immensely! - penny & Ron White
Aug 2005 - $27.00
This is in a city park. Campground is the older type with newer rigs trying to fit, many people have many cars at their site. If there is a vacant spot, it will be a camping site. Few big sites. Picnic table and fire ring (might be close to you or the next site). Stream runs past on one side and creek runs in middle. Has a nice restaurant in the Park and the pool looked nice. Can rent paddle boats or play miniature golf. Has caged pheasants and geese. Easy to get to dump station. Some walking and biking trails. - pegdiver
Aug 2013 - $46.00
This park has very friendly and helpful owners who were around very regularly. Most sites are occupied by seasonal campers. The transient sites are very heavily shaded and thus satellite access is virtually impossible. Even the roads are somewhat tight for our 36 foot fifth wheel. Their laundry is small but clean and inexpensive. On the whole, this is a reasonable place, but we would likely not stay again because of the poor satellite access. - wandrr
