3 RV Parks near Nestor Falls, Ontario
Jul 2011 - $38.00
The 2007 reviewer was very accurate. I would say the number of useable sites is way less than 60. The washrooms and showers have not been used for months ( or years). The site is in need of a lot of updating; however, we would stay again just for the quiet. The WI-FI was weak but did work. The $38 is quite expensive for the services available. The cafe has a great collection of stuffed animals including a caribou. - lrp374

This place is hard to describe. It is a hunting and fishing lodge on Lake of the Woods with cabins, restaurant and an area in the trees for RVs. We were the only ones in the camping area. The sites are not very clearly defined, just lots of grass areas among the trees. You just pull in where you can fit and still be near the utilities. It is quiet and absolutely beautiful on a gentle hill overlooking Lake of the Woods. The owner was friendly and accommodating and helped us get parked and settled in a site that allowed us to align our satellite through a gap in the trees. Their small restaurant, overlooking the lake is top-notch. I highly recommend it. We wished our schedule would have allowed us to stay longer. We will definitely return. - steben6

The location of this park is on Snake Bay of the beautiful Lake of the Woods. The water is crystal clear and there is a beautiful beach. The managers were very friendly. I had to prune the trees to get my coach in and out of the site. The restroom facility is clean, but old, and the building had a pay shower. Wharfage costs 11.50 per day. There are a lot of seasonal campers here, some who have been coming here for years. Good fishing here, from the dock or out in the lake. - 4merillinoisn

Like all Resort Parks there is good and bad. For example the cabins look very nice and well cared for. The onsite RV Park though is kind of like the tail of the dog. It is run down and neglected. The most awful feature of the park is the gross restrooms and showers. They are one step above an open pit. The showers are generally filthy and the toilet situation is even worse. There is no handicapped stall or elevated toilet...instead there are three low small round toilets that would better suited for a children's restroom. The park is family owned which can be very nice IF the family members know what the other ones are doing. The family is composed of an older father and mother, their two sons and daughter in laws. The members are often not on the same page which results in much confusion. The resort is more than likely an extremely profitable operation. Surely they can afford to remodel the restrooms and showers. We will not stay again. - Geodoc

LOVED this park and location! Wonderful office staff, same with marina! Family operated. We were moderately close to the lake and put our kayaks in both days-- even in the rain. There were a significant number of park models around us but the entire place was tidy and well cared for. There is a great beach, swimming dock, reading gazebo on the water, marina that rents boats and sells bait, VERY GOOD LAUNDRY, beautiful place. They even sell fishing license. It rained heavily for several hours, so we would have wished they had made the pad gravel (if not concrete) because we had to deal with very muddy surroundings. Wi-fi was non-existent, cell service was not available, nor was there tv. But who cares at this lake! It was very hard to leave. - ginger2you

Was an overnight. Park was beautiful and well maintained, but very expensive for off season. - Hamilhome
