Level sites and easy access to I84. Big open field dog park with bags was good. Good overnight stop. Could not use satellite because of trees but great antenna reception with 40 channels. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Fantastic park with easy access to the interstate. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and the cost is very reasonable. The park is clean and the full time resident sites are maintained and hardly noticeable (unlike other RV parks).

The restrooms are nice and clean, but a bit cramped. Best to use your RV toilet...you’ll have more space : ) We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet park with lots of full timers but space for a dozen or so overnight guest. Reservations are probably a good idea. Lots of big trees but was able to request a site for satellite. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is an older park with many full size trees so lots of shade throughout. There's a mix of back in and pull through sites, with most of the back in sites occupied by permanent residents. There's a mix of full hookup, electric only, and water and electric only (prices vary). The roads are paved; sites are gravel with a green space between rigs. We had to re-position the MH for the electric pedestal as it is placed toward the front of the site. Verizon cell and MiFi were okay. We'd stay here again. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Enjoy coffee and chocolates at Peterson's Gallery, 1925 Main Street. Find a new read at Betty's Books, 1813 Main Street. There's an interesting Chinese Cemetery, 2350 Windmill Lane. The National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is a short drive from the park.

Stayed for one night on a cross country trip. Park was clean and all services worked well. The internet worked well. Couple that runs the park were very nice and helpful. There are several long term renters, but the park was quiet and well kept up. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Access from I-84 was very easy. It is close to the freeway but far enough away that one did not hear traffic. Check in was quick, friendly and informative. When asked what brought us to Baker City and we replied the Oregon Trail our clerk was quick to offer lots of info. This is an urban park but on the outskirts so it was quiet. Parameter roads and sites are sparse gravel and easy to maneuver. We had a pull through that was reasonably level but our "green space" was rough and lumpy. It was hard to place our grill in a level spot. Services were to the left rear and all worked correctly. There was no Cable TV but we received strong OTA signals. Wifi worked very well. Our site came with a table but no fire pit or patio. This is an older park. It could use some spiffing up. The landscaping is very blah. Get rid of the crappy, lumpy wanna be grass and put in a patio instead. The dog area was huge and fenced. It appeared that everyone picked up. There were a number of permanents and some units looked a little trashy but all in all the park served us well. There are no restaurants or stores within walking distance. We paid $30.20 with G S discount including taxes. We feel that the cost was fair and would return. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

A visit to the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center is a must. Very reasonably priced. If you are a Rock Hound (or even if you are not) a visit to The Baker City Museum is worth while. Again very reasonably priced and very well done.

Older park that could have been a KOA. Very nice management. Site was very level Hook ups convenient. Although close to the freeway there was no freeway noise and no train noise either. WiFi was pretty good but slowed down about 5:30 pm. The bathroom is REALLY old and needs updating but clean enough. There are 2 showers but the dressing area is open so no privacy. No cable TV but OTA was pretty good. There are too many trees at most sites to get any satellite. There are a lot of long term residents around the perimeter and the middle is mostly for us short stay travelers. Good enough stay for a few days to check out the Oregon Trail Interpretive Center which is well worth a visit. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

A nice park just off the freeway, so there is some freeway noise, but not terrible. We were greeted by a very nice young man when we checked in and were able to navigate the park easily to get into our spot. Pull-through with enough room for our 33' motorhome plus tow dolly with car behind. It was easy to get out of the spot, as well. From the moment you walk into the office to check in until you leave, you get nothing but 'smiles' and 'is there anything I can do for you' from the staff! Lots of shady spots. HUGE dog run in the back of the park! Cute little office/store. More of a souvenir store, but with milk, soda, beer and water for sale. Ice for sale. Propane for sale. Like all places we have been, there are full-time permanent rv's on site, but for the most part, a very very nice park! Doggie poop bags offered throughout the park. Easy access right off I-84, and NO freeway noise! Very clean park. We camped at A-Frame RV Park (formerly Oregon Trails West RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.
