This is a RV park hidden behind a mobile home park. The sites are comfortable but a little crowded. There is noise from the train that passes through at night blowing it's horn. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown Baker City has sculptures on all the corners. It is a nice walk. Be sure to visit Barley Brown's Pub and across the street their tap room for some good beer and food. One of the best breakfasts I have had was at Lone Pine Cafe. This is a must stop.

Check-in went well. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable of the area. This CG has a bit of a frontier atmosphere to it, kind of fun. Our drive through site was easy to level and the utilities are close and work well. We didn't connect to CTV this trip. There is a "no carpet or rugs" rule here, to keep the grass green. We use this CG when passing through the area, either going north or going south. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Historic Oregon Trail Visitor Center is a must see when in this area. Hell's Canyon Dam and Scenic drive is great. There is much to do and see when in this part of Oregon. Several excellent places in town to eat and/or drink. Lots of Historic Buildings to visit.

This is a very nice park within walking distance to a couple restaurants. The indoor hot tub was a very welcome site! There is no dog park but there were side streets where I could walk my dog. The staff member at the front desk was extremely professional and very knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Her advice was excellent. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. Had trouble with cable and a staff member was super helpful and got that us going. In fact she was helpful with several questions. Park was clean and neat, staff very friendly. WiFi was a struggle and never really did get to use it. Watch out for the speed bump before the office. It is a big bump! Got here after the Blue Mountain Scenic Byway through NE Oregon. What a beautiful drive. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Great RV Park, Quite, well run, clean and very friendly staff. The bathrooms were very clean but when someone flushes the toliet you need to step back, you lose water pressure and the water gets really hot, I do hope they can fix this minor annoyance, other than that it is really really great park and we will be back. Overall Rating:

Well run campground with a neat western theme on its office, corresponding laundry and spa/shower building. Check in was easy to include being given a local paper tour/restaurant type information. We had pull through site 126 with FHUs, which was a little narrow but doable getting our 39' Vilano 5th wheel into place. Great water pressure (about 100 psi) so we needed our regulator. They had a dump station and also sold propane. There was fenced playground and swimming pool available as well. Out the back gate near our site was a large area to walk your dog complete with poop bags. WIFI was so-so/normal for this type of campground. The park is well off the interstate so there was no road noise, but we did notice trains off and on durning the day and night, but the noise was not too bad. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

From my notes about this park: 100 PSI water pressure. Good park with mature shade trees. Level site. Good WiFi, utilities location good, wiring correct. Good clean laundry room. Good to return here. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Travel Trailer.

This is our second time staying here. It's on the north side of town, so it's quiet at night. Trains run that you can hear at night but we like that sound. The sites are a bit tight (especially the long terms ones when you first come into the RV section) but, because they're at an angle to each other, you don't really notice. Long enough pull-thrus where we could park our pickup and 40'. No dog park, which is a bummer as there's no place to take the dog to do its "business". Most just go over to the tent area or a grass where no one is staying yet. Check in lady is terrific, friendly and helpful. Water pressure is very high. You'll need a pressure regulator. WiFi is okay. Slows down a bit when the park is full. Men's bathrooms are neat and tidy. A mile or two from the major grocery stores and the picturesque downtown area. Serious speed bumps when you first arrive so take them slow. Gorgeous mountains to the west. We'd stay here again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Motorhome.

Go to Sumpter to see the massive gold-digging dredge. Lone Pine is great for breakfast. Great kitchen store near it for utensils and kitchen stuff.

Relatively easy access to the RV park, through the mobile home community with some RV spaces in the median, going to the office. Most of the interior sites are drive-thru with good access, gravel sites with grass and trees. Utilities are well placed, sites are not very level but okay. CTV work well but Wi-Fi doesn't, its terrible. Close enough to I-84 but not so close you have noise. We have stayed here many times and find it a good place to kick back and relax for a day or two as we travel south (or north) on our way through. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. Pulled in late and was treated very well, enjoyed the lady in the office/store. Loved the ease of the camp ground. Would recommend and would stay there again. Did a quick run through the town and took some pictures. Great old building and a lot of mining history. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn. View Holiday Trav-L-Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Nice enough park but we didn't think that we should have to pay full price since the water was turned off. WiFi was very weak. A few miles from the highway so didn't have that noise. There was, however, a train blowing its whistle at 0230 and 0330! We would probably try someplace else if in the area again. We camped at Mtn. View RV (formerly Mtn.
