One of my worst experiences in over 12 years RVing. Way overpriced. Terrible turn space for such large pads. Site not cleaned up after last guest. Dog poop and cigarette butts. Street racing and truck noise. Deceptive website about being in a quiet corner and friendly staff. Maintenance guy yelled at me for placing a table under the shade on lawn- told me to read rules. Nothing found in rules about it. Not professional whatsoever. One and done with Crown Villa Bend. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

One of our favorite RV parks and favorite towns. Very quiet, wooded yet not blanketed, immaculately cared for and very friendly staff. Satellite is hit or miss because of the tree coverage. Most sites are back in but there are a half dozen HUGE pull throughs in the back. All sites are paver brick, including both the pad and patio. Wrought iron table (small) and chairs. Lush grass areas at each site, as well as huge, grass green belts separating each row. The sites are wide and level. Vehicle parking is provided with a cutout between the sites; no parking on the paved section. Each site has a storage shed so bring a lock if you're interested in securing stuff inside it. Utilities worked great. Extensive cable network but lousy analog reception. Great off leash area. Tennis/pickle ball court. No amenities for kids like pool or playground. Nice bathrooms but only two toilets and two showers for men and women for the entire park. Nice laundry and lounge with free morning coffee. WiFi was sometimes good, sometimes not good at all. Interior roads are paved. Registration queue is a little tight with a cutout long enough for just one big rig and tow. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very pleasant surprise. We were in the Platinum tier. Every thing very clean. Courteous workers. Daily garbage & recycle pick up from provided cans, which the workers put away for us each day. It is close to necessary shopping and gas convenient for our rig with tow. Quiet and generous spaces with pavers and treed like a very nice park. Ample parking. Met other really nice people there. I would rate it a 10 for sure, and we plan to return in 2020, but there was a tiny trailer there which shall we say had nefarious goings on all hours of the night, it was a little uncomfortable and all around noticed, especially for such a nice surroundings. Very out of place, hoping that will be gone by next year. Don't let that stop you I think in all my years I've never seen this. Highly recommend Crown Villa. Found an all new shopping center at the opposite end of town. The resort is located in a residential neighborhood. Which gave it that feeling. It was also quiet at night. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a great RV park for adults visiting Bend. If you can get them the pull thru spots with custom pavers are amazing at 25 feet wide by 135 feet long. Pull thru site preference in this order 490, 491, 489, 492, 488 and the least favorite would be 493 on the end. The only reason why I don't give this park a 10, is they should have a higher fence or camoflage type higher barrier on the far end of the pull thrus because there is an eye sore of a storage yard at the end that would be nice if it were blocked out from view. There are many large custom paver back in sites as well which we have never stayed in. They look like they are about 30 x 80'?I'm thinking sites #466 -469, or 476 - 479 would be nice, or 415-420 or 424-429. This park is for adults. There are no kid amenities like a pool or playground etc. There are tennis courts and horse shoe pits, and indoor spa, and outdoor fire pits for public gatherings. The amount of grass between sites, and the tall trees make this Resort very attractive. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There are so many restaurants in Bend and walking along the Deschutes river, and climbing Pilot Butte mountain right in town are 3 fun things to do.

This is a resort in the making. Abandoned sites have been turned into greenways. Basic and overflow areas can and may be upgraded. The huge dog run appears to be an after thought as it's placed in the edge of the park. No pool or playground make it an adult oriented camping experience in a forest environment. The premium sites are large and spacious with a storage shed, a stone wall disguising utilities and a personal garbage can. It has a groomed appearance with grass and decorative walls. Very pleasant and quiet. Staff very friendly and helpful. We were in a premium site (Platinum) on The Hill which had excellent Dish reception. We also had good Verizon reception. Bend has lost some of its small town charm since our visit seven years ago. The city's street design doesn't accommodate the increase in traffic making navigation difficult. GPS assistance is a necessity. Still, the area has much to offer in natural beauty. The snow capped Sisters are gorgeous. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an incredibly beautiful park; tree-lined, large paver spaces, blacktop car park, covered utilities, lockable storage shed on each site, so many amenities I lost count, warm & friendly front desk folks... the list goes on & on. A tad on the spendy side (in my travels I have paid way more for WAY LESS) but well worth it to me. There is a dry camp area & section that only offers power & water. I have reservations for Jun, Jul, Aug 2019. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Like everyone says, Crown has different sites at different costs. We stayed in the basic site with electric, water and cable on gravel (no sewer). We loved it. Our neighbors were not on top of us because you park your vehicle next to your rig so there is space. These are back in. The other more expensive sites are huge if you want to spread out but that is not our need. Verizon was fabulous and we got over the air local stations so we did not use the cable. The park is semi shady so not easy for the dish but if you can move your dome around, you can get a clear shot. Perfect location to explore the parks in the area and all of Bend. Lovely setting, the care taken in this park is second to none. Staff is very helpful. Coffee, tea, laundry, spa, showers etc all excellent. I can't say enough about how I enjoyed staying here. Would obviously come back and looking forward to it. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Bend area was beyond more than we expected. Must go downtown to old mill area and walk around the river, parks, beer, and shops. National Forrests, Parks and Monuments in the area around Cascade Mountains are convenient and well worth days of exploration. Must do Anthony's in old mill area if looking for fish and chips, fried oysters, local beer, happy hour. Go to a brewery to taste downtown area.

Very nice park and well maintained. We had a site at the silver tier level. The different tiers have different amenities on the site. Silver had a small table/chairs and a storage shed. there were a lot of large trees but on site our Satellite worked very well. You can not park your tow vehicle on the pavers on your site. You park next to your site (between RV sites), they are unmarked spaces, which is fine except when we came back from an outing there were other cars parked their and we had to park away from our site until they left. we would stay here again. The WiFi was terrible. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is the 3rd time in four years we have come to Bend. We have stayed at CV each time for a longer period of time each year. The park is in great shape and well cared for. In no other park have we experienced larger sites with plenty of grass and trees in between. Close by are grocery stores, restaurants, Fred Meyer and a Wal-Mart. WI-FI was good and the cable selection was more than adequate. The laundry was clean. There is a small gym and plenty of room to walk dogs with an open field adjacent. We will definitely be back. BTW, if you've never been to Bend it's worth the visit. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Our second time here, both times staying on the southern side. This time a platinum site halfway up the hill backing up to the large grassy area. I agree with others that the north side is full of messy long term occupants, but the southern side is still very nice. Nice views, very large site with utilities in the rear and 'hidden' by a low wall. Storage area in the rear of the site. Each site has its own trash receptacle and recycle bin. Surrounded by very large pine trees (pine cones dropping regularly). Fully booked when we were here (sign at entrance said so). Lots of kids playing baseball and riding bikes and hover boards throughout the park and in the grass area. Lots of daytime construction noise from new homes across the street (gold sites on south side would be most affected). Very clean public areas and spa (very hot), friendly staff. No pool, no playground. WiFi reliable but extremely slow during normal hours. Verizon coverage very good. Can wash rig at site, or have mobile wash service do it. Small area to park in for check-in, and on Friday afternoon it was stacked up. No good area to hook up tow vehicle when leaving. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Our GPS was determined to bring us from the south on Brosterhous and under the underpass which was too low. The reason for this is that although our GPS knows our motorhome height, it thought that the RV resort was -before- the underpass! Glad I followed the instructions from Crown Villa. Anthony's at The Old Mill is a must do dinner for seafood, though pricey. Crux Fermentation brewery and Cascade Alchemy distillery are very enjoyable.

What a sad degradation of a park. We've been coming here for ten years. Used to be our favorite campground but this will be our last visit. As mentioned by others, service has gotten worse and yearly renters are prevalent. We complained about people with dogs and kids on bikes using our lawn area as a short cut. Response: they can go anywhere they want. Remember that if someone wants to sit in your front lawn. Used to pick up garbage from your site but nobody tells you it has to be put up front. That's fine, but it would be nice if they let you know. Oh, and there was garbage from the previous camper that filled our container when we arrived. Some of the employees are friendly, some not. It is still a scenic location and there are a decent number of campers who will remind you of the old days, but if you haven't been here for awhile, you'll be disappointed. They went for the buck and sadly, it shows. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

What a shame. A beautiful park and they have turned it into a trailer park. What is basically left to reserve are the most expensive sites at the back. Every other site is a live in. My husband found a truck parked in our parking spot (they have rules about not parking in the site itself). When he confronted the owner he told my husband that they just park were they like. Also said if he moved out of our spot where would his wife park as the spot he has would now be taken up by him and suggested we could park at the far end. That's what you pay for. On arriving there were signs that they were spraying weed killer but the office staff could not tell me where ( but there was a warning regarding children and pets posted.) The first time we stayed here they felled trees all around us. Literally dropping them beside rigs. This is the second time here and rude live ins and herbicide with no information, you can bet there will never be a third visit. I would suggest staying any where else it is simply too expensive for what you get. We camped at Crown Villa RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Crown Villa use to be the Crown jewel of RV Resorts in the Northwest. We have been coming to this area for many years and have watched the steady decline of the park. 95% full timers now, with dogs running around, dogs chained to trees, temporary skirtings made from plywood or silver backed insulation, steps made from pallets, blue, silver and brown tarps covering up plies of who knows what, kids toys in the roads unattended, stuff stored underneath rigs. Staff was friendly but could not tell us what spaces we could use our satellite, told us to go look for a site. This has turned into a trailer park and is far from being a $60 a night ($84 during summer months) Resort. Very disappointing, and we will not be back. We’re in a large pull through, even the biggest plus toad have room. We stay here because of the location near grand children. But is well located for most of Bend. 1 mile to stores to replenish supplies and good restaurants nearby. Great level sites with asphalt parking for the toad and brick pads for the RV with very large grass area, although we have a couple inch's of snow at the moment.
