Nice park with lots of shade , level paved sites. Grassy between sites. Some road noise but quiet over night. I would stay again but the price is high for what you get. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

Our second time staying here, and it's great for one night. Super convenient to the highway, though noticed our my walk through the campground that the spots closer to the highway are a bit bigger, but were fairly noisy with traffic hum. Check in was quick, WiFi terrible (slow), grounds clean and tidy. Our site was quite close to our neighbors, and the hookups are such that if you want to sit at your table, you'll be right next to your neighbors sewer connection. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park in the middle of town and a great stop after being in the wilderness for some time. They have a nice dog walk complete with pooper scoopers, bags and trash can. The only issue we had was the site we were supposed to go into had a motor home broken down in it. They waited hours for a repairman then a tow truck. The manager, who I think was the son of the owner, did not make much effort to help them vacate the site. The park was full so we wound up basically camping on the edge of a road next to the maintenance area. There were hook ups because it was a numbered site. Instead of a nice view with trees we got to look at a garage at the nightly full rate. We paid extra for boosted WiFi that was so bad that I just used my hotspot on my phone. The manager just seemed to be unaware of what was going on in the campground. They just need to be more customer focused. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great location in Bend, just off the main road. There can be a bit of traffic, but there is a lot around the area to enjoy. There's a little bit of road noise, but it's not very noticeable. The asphalt spots with grass around are really nice. There's a community fire pit with free wood. They have a 2 tier wifi service, and it's definitely worth the extra $2 per day for the better tier. The park has been very full throughout the stay. It's a bit pricey per night, but it's a pretty good location. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

We wanted to be in-town and this place was more reasonably priced than the other park. Very convenient location. Sometimes it was hard to turn out of the park onto the main road because of traffic. The more-mature couple working in the office were really nice; they allowed us to receive a package and even delivered it to our RV. The younger gentleman working in the office was less personable. I would give this park a higher rating if he would have provided better accommodation for our large setup of 40' 5er, dually truck, SUV, 7x5 trailer, two motorcycles (which we described when making reservation). We pulled into site 317 and realized quickly we couldn't even fit the 5er and truck once disconnected (and no parking on grass). 316 right next to us was super long, so I asked if it would be okay if we switched. Guy said no, it was reserved for a couple of the nights we would be there. Three nights there were RVs in that site that were half of what we were. Would it have been difficult to switch those shorter rigs just staying one night to a site that would still easily fit them...? We had to put our 5er at the very back of the site so we could park our small SUV in front. Needed 20+ ft of sewer hose. "Overflow parking" area was laughable; might fit a small sedan but there was no way to even get our dually truck in that small gravel pad in-between a fence and fire hydrant. Luckily, the Wendy's next door allowed us to park in their lot. Seems like park is probably 80% long-term. Transient sites are on the south end. Site closeness varies; neighbors' slides were 3 ft from ours. Asphalt site pad bit uneven; needed a few boards to level. Laundry room was clean. Wifi was never strong enough to open a website. Landscape company next door starts up machinery at 8am each weekday. One-lane interior roads have dips/uneven due to tree roots. Tight, blind corner around restroom bldg. Nice trees around to make you feel like you're not 'in-town'. We'd stay again. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

First Impression: CG is "in town" with businesses nearby, just off a major thoroughfare but has a clean and neat roadside presentation. Safety: No concerns.

Access: North or south on US-97 at the south end of Bend, OR, to Powers Road to 3rd avenue (next traffic light) - north about 100'. Municipal road in good condition, good signage, Garmin GPS is accurate. Friendly office staff, no store. Credit cards accepted. Online reservations not available. Good Sam discount.

Facilities: No pool, spa, fitness room or rec center. Multiple, small, clean laundry rooms. Restrooms/showers are private, large, sufficiently clean (no mold) with hot water but weak pressure (score "A-"). No propane sales. No playground. No off-leash dog run.

Campground: Not in a flood plain. No storm shelter. Moderately wooded. Interior roads are wide-enough, asphalt in good condition with gentle turns and no overhead obstacles. Big rig and long coach friendly but Prevosts might have problems. No tent area, yurts, or cabins. Sites vary from close to spacious, sufficiently level, asphalt, pull-through and back-in with groomed bushes and nice grass landscaping. Watch for sprinkler heads in grass. Attractive. Utilities at rear of site with 20/30/50 electric; metered for monthlies. Low water pressure with average taste. Sewer pipe is 4" threaded, at ground level. No patios but very nice picnic tables. Ground fires not permitted, no fire rings. Adequate satellite views. Free cable TV (20+ channels). Free Wi-Fi with excellent coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone at 5 bars; 4G at 2 bars. Recycle bins for most items.

Noise: No railroad, aircraft, or interstate noise but noticeable local traffic. Bug Report (mid September): large black ants (no issue). Runners: CG roads ok for running. Yoga: sites are plenty big enough for your mat. Conclusion: Score 6-Nice but a bit pricey for no amenities. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Walking distance to Wendy's, Matzatlan Mexican, Starbucks. Fred Meyer (grocery) just north of CG. Area diesel prices range from $2.799 to $3.059. Farther north to downtown Bend you'll find Olive Garden, IHOP, various shops and mini-malls. Ace Hardware.

This campground is easy to find right off the highway. Check-in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Interior road are paved, but narrow. Really big trees are everywhere, but we managed to get around OK. Sites were paved, long and fairly level. Full hook-ups were well located and worked as expected. Pet areas are available. CATV worked well. Verison had 3 bars. WIFI was very good and worked well. There appears to be two sections to this park: one section for long-term residents and one for transients. The transient section is really pretty with lots of trees, grass and shade. This is a nice place. We've stayed here a few time before and we'd stay here again. This is a lovely yet older RV park. There is plenty of room in the RV spots, but your neighbors will be close by. The lawns are beautifully manicured, almost like a putting green. They did not voice any concerns about our three dogs, (well behaved pit bulls). The Wifi works well and the rest of the infrastructure is well maintained. It is very quiet around here, despite the fact that you are in the middle of Bend Oregon, home of 76,000 + folks. The roads are fairly easy to get around in, even with a 40 foot rig. This is not your Highest end resort, but it is truly wonderful, welcoming and safe. We will definitely come here again. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Motorhome.

The park is laid out well but spaces are quite close to each other. Pull throughs are a bit short. Satellite reception in limited number of spaces. The park is very well maintained. Good refuse collection and recycling. There are good utilities and access to them. The park is strategically located along a major street in town. Local restaurants, grocery stores and shopping nearby. The price was high for what you get but the park is jammed and they seem to have no trouble keeping it that way. Overall Rating:

This park, like so many in Oregon, is the new version of the old "mobile home parks", mostly full of permanent residents or full time RVers. Consequently the temporary visitors don't get the best spots. I do appreciate that I was seeking a site late in the day. I was told the site I would get was not their best in part because it didn't have a lot of grass. There wasn't a single blade of grass. The asphalt pad was not at all level and in fact was on an incline and very uneven. The water pressure at my site wasn't sufficient to take a decent shower in my RV. I wonder if that wasn't in part due to the watering of lawns all over the park all day long. There is only one area set aside for dogs and if it wasn't being watered it was soggy due to so much water. Not much good about this RV park's space 22. I also take issue with the very limited hours of the office and the lack of availability of a number for maintenance issues. I encountered issues with the faucet for fresh water and had I not bumped into the manager at 8:00 I would have had to wait until 10:00 am and delay my departure. Another indication this park caters to full time residents. Would not stay here again. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Travel Trailer.

Shady park with reasonably easy entry and exit, and located close to downtown Bend. Staff very polite and accommodating. WiFi was perfect! As close to having your personal WiFi at home! $50 per nite rate is the one week rate. Pricey. Entry into park is easy off a busy street . Be sure to use directions to the park from their website. All of Bend has busy traffic. Lanes are macadam and easy to follow. Park has several very long sites -adequate for our 43' rig. Sites are paved with nice grass between and many large trees. Our site #320 is the best site for a big rig; has no one behind nor on one side. Utilities operate well. Cable TV is good, satellite works well but WIFI is almost non-existent-even at 6 AM. AT&T works well and also Verizon broadband. Dog park is a strip of grass near the park entrance. Not fenced. No pool. Bugs not a problem - but weather during our stay has been very chilly. Would love to return to Bend and to this RV park, even at this price. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We are full-timers, traveling with a 43' 5th wheel. We stayed for 1 week. The most spacious sites are 318, 319, 320, 322, 325 and 326. Our site was one of these, and met our needs with no problems. Most of the other sites are very cramped, with most sites right on top of each other, with the neighboring site sewage and pedestal connections right next to an RV's doorstep. The bulk of the sites in the RV park are permanent trailers and sites that were pretty ratty. As with most RV parks, the Wi-Fi was only occasionally available, and for the most part was useless. We used our hot spot instead. Cable TV was acceptable. There was some traffic noise during the day, but died down after dark. Navigating our big rig on the lane ways was a bit of a challenge - some very sharp turns, but with spotters we managed. Overall, we found the park to be acceptable, but a bit pricey considering the amenities. It would have been very different (bad) had we been in one of the other sites. This park has been around for many years, and the facilities reflect this. We would counsel anyone with a big rig to request one of the sites 318, 319, 320, 322, 325 and 326. Some of the other sites would probably be OK if you had a smaller rig. We camped at Scandia RV & Mobile Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Interesting park set-up, narrow roads but no problem to maneuver. Lady at check-in was very friendly. Biggest drawback to this park is not the park's fault, road work by the City of Bend in every direction. Water connection is covered underground.
