Park is clean under a grove of trees with grass between sites. There isn't any real privacy vegetation. Some sites are very close. Some are nearby. All loops and sites are paved. #28 has the table on the side and the fire ring in the rear. We didn't use it, but they have an indoor pool reserved for adults after 8pm. Staff is friendly. These sites are too slanted: 37, 49, 57, 58, 78-82. These sites seemed especially nice: 2, 8, 10, 13, 14, 15, 20, 21, 26, 30, 31, 45, 46, 47. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is walking distance to Cannon Beach. Except for the road the park is on, it's all sidewalk. You'll walk under, not across US-101. It takes 10 minutes to walk to Pelican Brewing in midtown. It's a 15 minute walk to the beach access by the Wayfarer. The downtown part of Cannon Beach is a 30 minute walk.

Paved roads and backing with lots of grass, trees, fire pit and picnic table. Store with laundry and they even had a rec room with pool tables. They have fuel pumps right outside the office that are the only fuel pumps in town. Indoor pool and hot tub with adults only 8-10 pm! A little more than 1/2 mile to the beach although you would need to walk under Highway 101 on a street (we drove and parked near the beach) to get to the west side of highway 101. Haystack Rock is on the beach and lots of star fish and other sea creatures at low tide. Walk 10 minutes to the end of Elk Creek road the RV park is on and you're in the Ecola Creek Forest Reserve that has hiking trails that must go for several miles. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Drive 25 minutes north to Astoria to see the Maritime Museum and Astoria column, walk or drive 1/2 mile to Cannon Beach to see Haystack Rock, walk 10 minutes to the end of Elk Creek Road that the RV park is on to hike trails in the Ecola Creek Forest Reserve.

This is an atypical rv park. Owned by the city, government clearly doesn't put much money back in this MONEY MAKER. It's always full. It gets an 8 because it's Cannon Beach. We've been going for many years. I love the people there. They are always kind and helpful. But they are not given the funds an equipment needed to maintain this place. It's an unbelievably good location. Walk to food, museum BEACH, State Park, nice tree shade and mostly quiet (louder on weekends). Spaces can be very close with neighbors campfire just outside your window, but other spaces are very pleasant. They do let you reserve a specific spot. best spots only available for 2 weeks, others 3 weeks. Good rate for what you get. No place like Cannon Beach. Won't stop going We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This resort is just that, a resort. Beautiful, nicely shaded, level & paved sites, very roomy and grassy. The staff was helpful, gas and diesel on site which is helpful because gas is scarce and the stations are difficult to get in and out with a big rig. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice park with large space between sites (width). Our site was just long enough for our rig and toad. The site was extremely uneven and could not level the coach. The interior roads are a little tight but if you go slow no major problems. The AA&T service is barely usable but like previous comments the wifi was good. The utilities worked fine and our located for easy use. We could not get satellite service in our site but they had lots of cable tv choices. Overall a nice park. Very nice park within walking distance of Cannon Beach. We had 1-2 bars ATT, but didn't need it since the park's WiFi was pretty good. Sites are paved with grass/dirt yards and lots of trees. We were able to find a gap and get satellite service, but the park also has cable. The park was very busy with lots of families, so book early. We would stay here again. It has been over 10 years since we last stayed here. Whenever we were in the area many summers since then, we were never able to get a site at this busy park that fit our trip schedule. This time we lucked out and were able to get a level, back in, FHU site. The roads and site pads are paved and I think all sites are back ins. Since the park is heavily treed, we settled for their cable TV. Although a recent reviewer said they were able to get satellite TV, I don't think there are many sites where you can get it. The park has good facilities and amenities (pool and playground) that make this park very popular with families in the summer. Even with a full park, the bathrooms were clean during our stay. I did not see any recycling. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Thank you Jerry S! We're so pleased you returned to our park, and delighted you enjoyed your visit. Though many of our sites are back-ins, we do have pull-through sites as well, and we're happy to check availability for you when you're ready to plan your next visit. We also have recycling bins just outside the lodge--they are near the trash receptacles and are labeled with red lids for appropriate recyclables. We're so sorry we missed the chance to point them out! Thank you again for returning, and for sharing your feedback. We hope to welcome you again next summer, if not sooner!

This is a city owned park and is very large and busy. There are many different sites and sizes from pull thru to backends. No tents allowed. Many families and very dog friendly with lots of shade and grass. The walk into town is very easy and only about four blocks. Many families means lots of noise and busy roadways but it quiets down at 9:30pm and very quiet. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We just finished a four night stay. It started out as three, because that is was all that was available when we called for a reservation in February. On the day before we were to leave, I asked if they happened to have a cancellation, and they did, so we moved to another space to spend another day at Cannon Beach. Now, to the park. It is been there since 1982. It looks like it. Narrow paved spots, but quite a bit of room between spots. It is in the middle of a forest, so I think satellite reception could be hard, but the cable is good. They have an indoor pool with hot tub, with 8-10 pm adults only swimming. Nice. Very kid friendly with a small playground, including basketball set-up and lots of roads for kids to ride whatever on. People in the office are super nice especially the General Manager. The facilities are near the front of the space, had to use extensions on water and sewer. Wifi was good, except they were having some problems, and sometimes it went off for a few minutes. It was not the parks fault, it was area wide with Spectrum. Walking distance to the beach (just less than a mile). I know that location is everything, but $52 per night seems a little steep, but still, they are packed every night in the summer, so.... Also, if you sign up for a month, you get a whole $2.50 discount per day off of the daily rate. However, with all that being said, we will be back. It is by far the best place in Cannon Beach to camp. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

What a total circus! People and their junk spread out everywhere...even in the roads! Unsupervised kids all over the place on skateboards, bikes and roller skates. Corn hole and other yard games blocking the roadways. Some sites looked like yard sales with everything the people owned scattered outside their RVs. Some had a full cord of firewood ready and waiting to fill the air with thick smoke. Cars and trucks parked anywhere and everywhere. A total waste of time if relaxation is at all important to you. Quiet time not enforced during our stay. Cell service nearly non-existent and park wifi is useless. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We are so disappointed to see this, and truly saddened we didn't ensure a more relaxing experience for you. Cannon Beach is a popular destination year round, especially so with families during the summer months, as you mention. Though there is more commotion this time of year, we are fortunate that most of our guests respect the public areas and our quiet hours. We're disheartened that was not the case during your visit, and truly sorry we missed our opportunity to address the situation. We hope we'll have an opportunity to welcome you again for a quieter stay, and a chance to make a better impression. Thank you.

Nice place to stay near Cannon Beach, Ecola State Park, Hug Point, not to mention the towns of Seaside, Warrenton, and Astoria (of "The Goonies" fame). This is one of the busiest RV parks we've stayed in, with people coming and going. Mostly full or close to full all the time. Decent sized sites with large fire pits and picnic tables. Not really a resort, but there's an indoor pool, which we didn't use. Wifi was not good at all and our Verizon cell wasn't much better. Seems like the Park is in a zone where cell reception is bad; once we drove out and left the immediate area the signal was much better. Grass/weeds could've been cut more often. Gas pumps are very convenient and made things simple and easy when we left and needed diesel for the RV. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Cannon Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Quaint town of Cannon Beach has shops, restaurants, galleries, etc., and access to the beach. Haystack Rock is a fabulous part of the beach. Town of Seaside is close by, but more touristy. Warrenton has Walmart, Home Depot, and many more stores to stock up at. Visit Hug Point and explore caves, hike in Ecola State Park. So much beauty in this area!

We have been using this park for years and it remains one of the top stops on Hwy 101. The setting is pristine, sites are quite private and spacious, TV and wifi are good. Cannon Beach offers services, shops and bistros second to none. This is one of the few tiimes we visited at peak season. The town which is within walking distance from the park was full of visitors, yet the congestion was tolerable. It is an rv stop that all of us should experience at least once.
