Off the beaten path, off Hwy 101. Turn left immediately after the bridge: next to the Gift Shop. Funky check-in via the Gift Shop up front. Service was friendly and helpful. Spartan facilities weren't used. Only 2 long-termers in the park. No shade but plenty of fog. Would stay again: especially if cheaper. - cdfdale
Aug 2005 - $16.00
Very nice, spotless, teeny tiny park on the harbor in Charleston-by-the-sea, which is more or less a suburb of Coos Bay. This is a very small park - only 10 sites, sites are small and close together but the park is immaculate with nice landscaping. The owner/managers were some of the friendliest people that we met on this trip. The sites are paved and very level. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. No crappy, rusty looking full time set up's here! There were a couple of fairly large 5th wheel units here, but I don't think that a big Class A would fit. - julievojo

More crowded and more organized than last year when we were here a few weeks earlier. As I've said before, basically a large parking lot with RV hook-ups. The pull through sites are quite large, room enough to park our fifth wheel and heavy duty truck plus the smart with room left over. Many spaces have truck, trailer and boat trailer in them. Interesting place to walk around since it is a working fishing and recreational boating port with a lot of activity. Still very quiet at night. WiFi spotty and comes and goes. - Dennis M
Jun 2019 - $38.00
The lady at front desk was nice and helpful. It is at a marina and if you like water, it is a great place. The beach just about a mile up the road. - Kimc
Sep 2018 - $19.00
Lots of irresponsible dog owners that allow their dogs to poop wherever and not pick it up. Most of the employees that work here are oblivious to rules. Water leaking from rigs, sewer hoses on the ground and barking dogs but employees never notice unless you complain. Lawn mowed 1 time every 2 weeks. The best thing about this fisherman camp is that the garbage is picked up regularly. - Debbie Lown

Lots of rules, such as must pay for guests (including children even if young). This was waived since mine are 1 and 2 months. No showers, bathrooms or trash after 9 pm. I can see both sides to the rules, they can be a pain when you have to put the kids to be before being able to shower etc.
All in all I like the park, quiet, and close to everything. Perfect for our trip. - Pfmarine1
Sep 2016 - $36.00
Good if only place available. Probably good for fishermen or full timers but we are neither. Girl in office very nice and we got last spot available. Lots of lotta timers here and fishermen. Showers need a good cleaning but we're large. Clubhouse has funny smell. Would only stay here again if nothing else available. - Rpopeye
Aug 2015 - $27.00
So, this park is definitely different. First the good....The front office girl, Manjana was very sweet and helpful. The park had a decent weekly rate, especially for Summer in Oregon, and the sites were quite roomy. They provided picnic tables, and their wi-fi worked ok, some of the time. We backed up to the fence overlooking the Bay, and had a nice grassy area behind us.
Now the not so good. We backed up to the Bay, and there are train tracks behind the park fence. Starting at 6:00 am, every weekday morning we were there, the clashing and screeching of the trains woke us up. It was kind of neat watching it for the first couple hours or so, but it got to be a little deafening after that.
There are a lot of long term residents there, whose sites are pretty messy, with a bunch of toys and junk scattered around.
This park would be ok for a overnight stay, but longer than that, we would find some place else. - Mr&MrsFulltimers

If you like camping in the dark woods, this is a good place. County campground with paved interior roads and paved level sites in the trees. Narrow interior roads. Don't recommend long or tall rigs. Very difficult to get into narrow sites with narrow one way roads. Each site separated by tall hedges or forest. No sewer at sites. Both water with 30 amp and dry sites available. Most sites back into forest for camping experience. Very few sites can get satellite signal. Good cell service and OTA. Playground but no rec room and no store of pool or activities. Must drive to beach. Narrow and twisty state roads to get to area from the south. Nice place to camping for a few days, but not so good for RVing. - Pepper Dan
Jun 2017 - $26.00
Mushy from recent downpour. Sat didn't work, but saw neighbors with sat set up. Much more like camping than rving. Excellent beach access to dog friendly beach. 4g in campsite. Will stay again. - diceshooter60
Nov 2016 - $20.00
The actual rate was $20.36 winter rates. The reservation system is off line during the winter except for cabins. This is another you pay for what you get park. The bathrooms and showers were clean. However the showers have some supply issues. I checked 2 different shower rooms and the both had the same problem. Each shower room has 2 showers. One shower has pretty good pressure and the push button stays on about 40 seconds. The other shower has dribble and you have to push the button about every 15 seconds. Most of the loops are in trees with marginal drainage (it rained a lot) with paved pads and some are pretty flat others not so much. Loop D is the loop of choice. It is out of the trees and most of the sites are out in the open the down side is they are not very private. The roads are rough pavement. Verizion MiFi worked fine. Be sure and lock up you cars, RV's doors and compartments. There were at least 3 thefts out of vehicles that were left open when we stayed there. If we're back in the area we'd probably stay here again, reluctantly. - pumper9x9

Jun 2019 - $38.00
This is a nice campground. It has a mobile home section and several permanent residents, but all seemed well-maintained. There are several PT sites for travelers. The roads and pads are asphalt and wide enough, although you need to watch the large concrete planters positioned at the entrance to each site. There are gravel areas between sites with a table. The gravel is large enough so that it is not dirty and you do not track it into your rig. The pad was not long enough for our coach and tow car, so we had to park the car across the road, but it was convenient. The utilities worked well, but are positioned in the rear of the pad, so you need long hoses. There are 3 medium sized, fenced dog parks in the park which are well-maintained. The bathrooms were immaculate. We would stay here again if we ae in the area. - SMorin
Jul 2018 - $38.00
We had a pull-thru. Pad and roads were asphalt. Site was level with gravel separating each site and a patio table. Utilities were good and at the rear of the site. Very quiet and peaceful. Some permanent residents but very well maintained sites. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very clean campground. Showers/restrooms were clean. Satellite dish aiming was good. We will return. - SD75mac
Aug 2017 - $32.00
Best showers and laundry. Would have liked a more secure shower situation, Not having a shower stall with latching door at the very least makes me very nervous. Good pressure and hot! Music in the bathrooms is a nice touch and they have been nicely renovated. Overall a good place to stay. - Onebigbirdlover

Loud noise from highway 101. Extremely noisy when ships are loading logs right next to the RV park. Spaces are narrow. Hot, no shade. WiFi is terrible., constantly disconnecting. Staff very nice but will not stay here again. It is too noisy and overpriced. - tinceir
Sep 2019 - $55.00
A little pricey for a casino since there aren't any other amenities, but it is a nice, clean, secure park with friendly staff. 24/7 shuttle service to the casino if you want it. Would stay again. - Nevada Nick
Aug 2019 - $69.00
Clean RV park. Nice water view if you pay a premium for it. WiFi so poor as to be unusable. If they are going to call themselves a "resort" they should provide adequate, usable, WiFi. - 50yrver

Clean, private, quiet. This is the cleanest rv park we've ever stayed at. Bathrooms and laundry room are immaculate. Also, each spot has privacy hedges on each side, so you can't see your neighbors. - MaureenH
Jun 2014 - $60.00
This was a nice park. The rate seemed a little high at first. When I checked around the surrounding area, it then seemed quite reasonable. The staff were nice and helpful. Coos Bay is a beautiful little Town, and we enjoyed every minute of our unfortunate short trip here. The great thing about this Park is the Hot Tub. Something to say about snuggling up after a nice trip to the hot tub when it is gently sprinkling outdoors. The smell of the Earth greats you as you step outside. Would recommend and will return again. - Sookie
Jul 2013 - $30.00
This is a first class RV Park. A few permanent locals, many long termers, and some park models populate this well maintained park. The individual bath rooms are great, just like home, if not better. Good cable and good Wi-Fi. Everything here was great and I loved it. A little off the 101 but everything is close by. Very nice area. - Chalet 22

I happened upon this place while camping at a State Park. So on our way back down the coast we decided to extend our vacation and stay here for a week. I can't say enough good about this place. The staff are very friendly, the grounds are neat, clean, and roomy. There are 4 deer that would come through my camp in the mornings and evening. A very nice bay and beach, just beautiful here. If I'm back this way again I will be staying here again. - Hacklekandy
Sep 2019 - $51.00
Being new everything works well. The wifi was the best we have seen in a RV park. The service was great. We had a minor problem with a trip hazard on our site and they were out working on it in five minutes. The sites are very large and the on the waterfront sites your RV is only a few feet from the sandy beach. Interior roads are wide and easy to navigate. Others have commented on the amenities and they are very nice. This is the nicest RV park on the Oregon coast that we have seen. As it matures it should only get better. - Windshift
Sep 2019 - $68.00
Got the last waterfront spot. It was a very nice facility. The facilities were new and very well situated, clean and relaxing atmosphere throughout. Plenty of room at each site. Only thing they can use is a hot tub and the NFL ticket. I would return. Priced on the high side. - Radrover

Very nice RV park -- first time stay. Right next to a great beach for our dogs to run. Here pretty much off-season so park less than 1/2 full. Stayed two nights Great location on Cape Arago surrounded by state parks with seal/sea lion viewing, hiking trails and not fart from Coos Bay metropolitan area if looking for a nice restaurant. We had sushi @ the Tokyo Bistro in Coos Bay -- very nice. We heard that SharkBites Seafood Cafe in Coos Bay was good but was closed on Sunday when we went for our meal. Definitely will come back. - RetiredLee Content
Sep 2019 - $50.00
Great location by the beach. Very friendly staff. Nicest RV park in the Coos Bay area... we drove by many that I would not stay at... but this one is so beautiful. WiFi was very good. Also very close to state parks where we saw whales and many sea lions! - WanderLust77
Aug 2019 - $54.00
The park is right on the beach (short walk over the dunes). The park is fairly large and they have pull-thru and back-up spaces available with full hookup s. We got a back-in just steps from the beach. The park is very clean and there's plenty of room between RVs. - J Tucker

Sep 2015 - $10.00
Nice forest campground near the Oregon sand dunes. Off road vehicles weren't allowed in this campground, so it was nice and quiet. Most sites in this campground were a bit narrow, but a few have enough space to accommodate a larger rig. Neighbors were not seen or heard, even though there were several other campers in the campground. We didn't have cell phones (AT&T) or WiFi (Verizon), but our Dish worked just fine. - Bobbi1948
Jun 2014 - $20.00
Agree with last review. We had no problem fitting our 33' RV and toad in site 11 and found this to be a lovely, quiet setting. Host tends lovely flowers at his site. We would camp here again. - RDR
Sep 2013 - $10.00
This is a forest service campground. Sites are paved and plenty long enough for our 40' MH but we needed to cut some branches that were in the way of slides. Water available around the park. Nice trail around the small lake. Less than a mile to the ocean. There are ATV dunes close by but no ATV's in the campground. There is a horse campground just up the road and ATV campground across the street. Good Verizon internet service but marginal phone service. Only 4 miles to Coos Bay for shopping. Price reflect Old Age Pass. - rhianna
